We really trusted this store and ordered a floral arrangement from the website with the specified zip code but they outsourced it to a company operating out of the Philippines, delivered flowers that have no resemblance to what we ordered, and no way to contact them other than Ali at the 1800# who said she didn't like my tone of voice, and was unable to help me reach her supervisor. They have nice desserts and the salad that's packaged is very good and very fresh other places the lettuce is wet and old. This is the first package salad that I actually like and will continue to buy. However, they are not consistently making cookies daily. I would like to get the macadamia single cookie again and the two pack of cookie slices which I haven't seen since valentines. These are things I would like to buy on the regular, but they are not there I don't know why. read more

Would give zero stars if I could, on the new recipe/process for their Ciabatta rolls (10/03/25). They are now HALF the size. NOT AIRY at all. And as dull and tough as a low quality bread can be. They cannot be called a ciabatta bread in any sense of the word. They're not even good as any kind of bread. read more

Market street is great! It is a beautiful store! So many reasons I come to this place- Clean, carry out and store right there! But the floral dept is incredible! Valerie helped us with two events and even told us how to care for them! she made it look unbelievable! The flowers there are always fresh and pretty. I get some at least once a week! Five stars ! There are no flaws when it comes to Market Street. Lately I've been addicted to their pre made Cobb Salads. Love the twice baked mashed potatoes. You'd think in comparison to other grocery stores that M.S. would be heavily overpriced, but not the case. Recently went in and got a dry aged steak for 29.99lb. My go to was Tom Thumb but I think this is it going forward. read more

This is about the pizza area. The rest of the store is 5 star. I've been in numerous times in the last month to get a slice of pepperoni pizza, 1 time out of 6 and the rest are vegan. We don't want vegan we want the pepperoni pizza it's good, when I can get it. I don't know who's making pizza but you need to keep a pepperoni on. The guy was nice and offered to make one but that's not the point. I have friends that go here too and have said the same thing. We live across the street on the backside of the market. Whole Foods sucks that's why I don't go there. I'm hoping you start keeping pepperoni there more often. read more

I've been a loyal Market Street customer for over 10 years, even though H-E-B is closer, because it's usually less crowded. Tonight I came in for a specific item, searched everywhere, and even checked online (which just said "available" but gave no aisle/location like competitors do). When I asked for help, the employee at the meat counter didn't know and reluctantly made an intercom announcement. I waited 10 minutes -- no one ever came. At the front of the store, several employees were just standing around. I left without the item I came for. Sadly, after a decade of shopping here, this store just lost my business. I only wish there was a Market Street closer to my house, but I will drive the 16 miles from Mesquite to Bush and Preston, to enjoy this FUN shopping spot. If you haven't been, GO!!! The prepared HOT pot roast, potatoes and carrots are economically priced and a couple can eat twice and still have enough for roast beef sandwiches, three days later for $12. Their homemade chicken pot pies are $6 and serves two, easily. The fresh soups, my favorite--New England Clam Chowder, from New England, is a delicacy. There are other varieties of soups available as well-gumbo and other selections. Fresh cheeses, breads, bakery items are great for parties for all the seasons. Fresh salads, tabouli, cous-cous and other freshly made salad items are amazing. Eat there or take a meal home. They have really cute, novelty gift selections for all occasions and items you would not find just anywhere. There is another Market Street on Preston in Frisco, as well. While you are there, check out their meat department and do your regular grocery shopping while you're at it. Be sure to sign up to acquire points and obtain rewards and weekly deals and bargains. Nice store, shelves well stocked, friendly associates. I did order a birthday cake after seeing a few recommendations. Next time I'll try a different one. I got a vanilla butter cream cake, the cake was very fresh and moist. I found the butter cream a little too sweet. I was surprised the raspberry filling was so thin. It was easy to use their order app and it was ready as planned. All in all a first class store! read more

With all the hype about the "other" grocery store chain moving into the area we almost forgot about Market Street. Market Street is a well-run, nice grocery store that meets most of your needs. I still like this Market Street location. Like others I wish they would bring back their salad bar as that was a big hit and it's time to move on from Covid. it was great to be able to make your own salad the way you wanted while also picking up yummy things for dinner and Ready meals or great items in their butcher/fishmarket. They always have my favorite white Bordeau wine available on for a good price. Yes, they have competition down the street but I can't find everything I need at either grocery store so they complement each other. Just bring back the one thing that is not at any other grocery store in the area and that is your salad bar, please! I've never been in the store, but I love the FREE electricity for my EV. I just wanted to say thank you to the owners and the customers of Market Street. I use their free EV chargers all the time. I will sometimes walk to a nearby restaurant or have a friend drive me home. I'm sure this is a nice store, although I've never been inside. (I shop at HEB, but they don't have free electricity.) If Whole Foods & Eatzi's had a baby, it would look a lot like Market Street. I stopped by here for lunch and ended up spending almost my whole lunch hour just walking around the store. There's a hot deli, cold deli, sandwich press area, smoothie and coffee bar, full bakery, packaged to-go meals, floral area, and of course grocery store produce, etc. I'm going to start driving in early to work, grab some breakfast and coffee and "make groceries" in the same store and all before I head into the j-o-b. The cold deli had a $7.99 deal with one protein and 2 sides. Nice price! I got pecan crusted trout with carrot souffle and asparagus. I also picked up peach and blueberry smoothie with almond milk and a vitamin shot of calcium and magnesium. I spent right under $14 for everything. (That would not have happened at Whole Paycheck. LOL!) The food and smoothie were good, not exquisite, but good diner quality taste. I was actually surprised at how good it was - other than WF or Central Market, I don't usually care for grocery store made food. Also, the price just could not be beat. Staff was nice. I was very indecisive that day and asked tons of questions that each staff member answered patiently. There is a huge parking lot. The store is clean and has a nice open feel to it. I'll be back next week and the week after that, so Yelp should make me the Duchess of this spot pretty soon. read more

I think it's time for this location to update their old payment system. It's way too slow and slower than any other payment system I've experienced in the DFW area. I don't care if you go to Tom Thumb, Kroger, H‑E‑B, or even CVS/Walgreens, it's faster everywhere else. At self checkout, it should be as simple as scanning your items, tapping your card, and out the door. The delay is so long at this locations self check out. It's time to pay some money for an upgrade. The processor is slow. Not sure what company they are working with for payment but might be time to rethink that if everyone else in town is faster. Maybe the terminals themselves need a refresh. I'm not an expert. I just know I'm going to drive to a competitor next time so I don't need to deal with the frustratingly slow check out. It's 2023. Oh my goodness I am so happy I got my wedding cake and flowers from market street! Schedule appointments with the bakery and florist the same day. Got there and the cake maker already had samples waiting for us. She talked us through our tasting and helped up make the decision that we wanted 3 tiers with 3 different flavors. She had lots of pictures to help with the way the cake could look, but I showed her a pic I found on the internet and she said she could do that no problem. Then we visited with the florist she was very helpful since I was still unsure of the wedding colors and hand no clue what all I wanted in my bouquets. I hate that the bag people Sony know how to properly bag glass bottles and just toss my stuff on top of stuff crushing my apples and hurting my bread. I tried serval times to give my business to market street because I live the next block over. They have disappointed me every single time I go in. Not only is this place poorly managed but they put the wrong ingredients in the sandwiches in the to go area. Self check outs closes before 8pm and the salad bar is put away too early. Teens that work there rather be on cell phones then help customers and I get harassed by homeless people in the parking lot. HEB has been a lot better place to stop and I'll keep on shopping at H‑E‑B ---- at least there self check out don't close. read more

I love this Market Street store. They have all the things I buy, including "Deja Blue" bottled water, that is made in Plano TX, that has no Sodium in it (that makes you more thirsty) has bottles that do not crumble and squash spilling water all over you and making you embarrassed, when you try to open them and the caps are still big enough that a child can't choke on them. They also have "Red Blossom" strawberries that are giant, red and sweet. I also love that they carry " Banquet" individual cherry berry, apple and peach frozen pies that you make in the microwave at about 90 cents each. This grocery store is similar to Whole Foods, they have a variety of freshly made sushi, very nice fresh produce, hot food and everything else. Staff is nice and professional, large variety of flowers and desserts as well. This place is way better than some of the other grocery stores in town. read more

The store itself is ok. Water refill station has been out of order for many month. Brought it up with customer service several times to no avail. After couple of months discussed the issue with the store manager but month later still nothing happened. To me that shows total disregard for customer needs as we do need water we are now forced to go to different stores to do that. Too bad they are losing customers because of this. read more

For as much as I like this store, for the second time in a row I found that all the tempe available in the produce department (in the chicken style) was past the expiration date. This suggests to me that one would need to verify dates throughout their produce department. This location has gone down hill. Every week they seem to stop selling something. Customer service is lacking. Deli manager is too busy flirting woth customers to offer help to people waiting in line. Crushed flies that haven't died yet stuck to packages of sushi. Rotisserie chicken that's burned so bad its a black lump is all that's available. Coffee selection was over half store brand with no option other than dark roast or breakfast blend. Almost no decaf options. Don't know why I even try to shop there any more. read more

My son is partial to the brisket enchiladas and Mac and cheese from the pre cooked ready to go selections and I love to troll their clearance meat for ribeye steaks! I spent $50 on grocery pickup and have been using the service since pandemic and never had an issue until today. I ordered th 15 fried chicken and it was most definitely cooked at least 4 hours ago. I have been coming to this location for years, it has always been my go-to grocery store, but after tonight I have finally decided I am done with it. In the past year it seems that things have gone down hill in this location. The deli food is terrible, like BAD. The cashiers either have attitudes or don't even acknowledge your existence. Products that are available in every other store is always out here. I used to come in to shop every weekend but all of the sale items are always out. And the overall friendly atmosphere is gone. I don't know if it has something to do with HEB moving in down the street or some sort of shift in management, but something isn't working. I used to not mind the prices because I knew that I was paying for good service in addition to my groceries. But now I feel like I am getting ripped off. No one seems to care in this store anymore.
