We have been shopping here since they opened. The staff is friendly and assist whenever you need or have questions. We are greeted every time we come and know a lot of their names. It's grocery shopping in a big city with the feel and friendliness of a small town.

With all the hype about the "other" grocery store chain moving into the area we almost forgot about Market Street. Market Street is a well-run, nice grocery store that meets most of your needs. The prices are reasonable and the store, though years old. Is kept in almost new condition. I will be back!

There is even a "made to order" Coffee & Smoothie bar in here!

If Whole Foods & Eatzi's had a baby, it would look a lot like Market Street. I stopped by here for lunch and ended up spending almost my whole lunch hour just walking around the store. There's a hot deli, cold deli, sandwich press area, smoothie and coffee bar, full bakery, packaged to-go meals, floral area, and of course grocery store produce, etc. I'm going to start driving in early to work, grab some breakfast and coffee and "make groceries" in the same store and all before I head into the j-o-b. The cold deli had a $7.99 deal with one protein and 2 sides. Nice price! I got pecan crusted trout with carrot souffle and asparagus. I also picked up peach and blueberry smoothie with almond milk and a vitamin shot of calcium and magnesium. I spent right under $14 for everything. (That would not have happened at Whole Paycheck. LOL!) The food and smoothie were good, not exquisite, but good diner quality taste. I was actually surprised at how good it was - other than WF or Central Market, I don't usually care for grocery store made food. Also, the price just could not be beat. Staff was nice. I was very indecisive that day and asked tons of questions that each staff member answered patiently. There is a huge parking lot. The store is clean and has a nice open feel to it. I'll be back next week and the week after that, so Yelp should make me the Duchess of this spot pretty soon.

The food they prepare is my favorite hands down compared to both Whole Foods, Central Market and Eatzies.

My parents lived in Garland so I'd visited the Walnut Hill & 75 location over the years and liked it, other than the fact that they're not allowed to sell hard liquor which is a BIG BUMMER but not the store's fault. I went to this location around 2pm on a weekday and it was BUSTLING! The selection was pretty good and just about everything on my list was in stock. The store is super clean and well stocked by happy, helpful and smiling employees as always. There were even plenty of shopping carts and baskets available which is never the case in downtown San Francisco. The lines were very manageable even though the store was packed with shoppers. My cashier informed me that this is the busiest location in the DFW area, but I'd argue that the Walnut Hill location is just as busy. I was thrilled that the lines don't snake around halfway down the aisles like those for a theme park roller coaster as they do in SF.

The posts all said how great the customer service is, the prices, the whole vibe. So, I thought I would give it a shot, and the prices and the quality of products did not disappoint. I only gave it three stars because the only two customer service people I came in contact with were not friendly at all. For example, when I checked out, the cashier handed me the receipt, made no eye contact, did not acknowledge me in any way. Major pet peeve of mine. Having said that, the ketchup flavored potato chips are amazing!

They had another favorite of mine - the white chocolate apricot bread. Ask them to put it through their slicing machine. My first job in high school was working in a bakery. A midwestern mom and pop bakery where EVERYTHING looks delicious and tastes as good as it smells. The kind that when you walk in you take a deep breath and try and bottle up all the amazing aromas. The bread slicing machine takes me back there. Take a slice of the white chocolate apricot bread, toast it in your toaster, add a little butter and a nice little breakfast snack is yours!

When one employee finally looked at me, he simply stared at me and gestured by throwing his arms out as if to ask, "What do you want?" in an unprofessional manner. I clearly stated what I wanted to order, but I felt that I was being ignored. Unsure if there was a language barrier, I began pointing to the menu items and identifying exactly what I wanted. Instead of assisting me, the employee began loudly repeating and confirming my order four separate times in a manner that felt more like yelling than customer service. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed by the lack of basic courtesy and communication. Regardless of any language differences, customers should be treated with patience, professionalism, and respect.
