Stumbled upon this tiny little joint on my way home from dropping a friend off at the airport…read more Got on 12oz vanilla cappuccino and one 12oz latte. Both were really solid. The young lady behind the counter was really nice. This place was empty as hell...I think bc maybe the location? But it shouldn't be empty! Really solid joe. Plenty of parking. Good service... Now the one thing I didn't like is that they had a defected cup with a messed up lip...which made the top impossible to close. They should have thrown the cup out and not used it. I was driving home and about to drink my hot drink when I noticed a gap in the top. That would have SUCKED if I hadn't caught it. I used to be a barista ... Just throw the cup out ;) Not the comfiest vibe...plenty of seating...but it's a bit sparse, so while you could come in a write or work...it's not like...the vibiest place. But if you want solid joe....come here.

This is what was purchased: Honey cinnamon latte: 10/10 Robust coffee. Not too strong. The cinnamon with the hint of honey marry well together. Very enjoyable and satisfying. Hot chocolate: 10/10 Warm, silky, velvety. Good quality chocolate. I tasted a hint of coconut.

I've been wanting to visit a Paris Baguette since first seeing one on the map in Carrollton, but…read morenever was able to go due to time constraints or distance from my office. Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the one adjacent to the Zion Market. We were delighted to find this spot open - we'd been walking the mall since she hadn't been there in years and we'd skipped breakfast so we bought a couple pastries and coffee and tea and it was all very good. I can't wait to be back. Service was good and quick - so many choices and we were pressed for time, but the cakes looked amazing and we enjoyed everything bought. We feel really fortunate to have places like this near enough to Denton that we can take family to visit when they come out and treat ourselves every so often.

Paris Baguette - Lewisville…read more Totally unexpected location. Pastries galore! "Strawberry Croissant," had fresh fruit with fluffy texture and sweet creamy filling. This might be, truly, the best croissant come across my tastebuds! If you're familiar with Lewisville, TX, you know for number of years some parts of it were run down and not taken care of. Vista Ridge Mall, was one of those neighborhoods that was neglected for years and sadly looks like a ghost town inside and out. I recently walked through this mall with family and it was sad to see what once was a very prominent shopping and dining place, became almost abandoned. So I thought. When you drive around the mall, you'll see a nice corner lot of the building, full parking lot that has a small town of its own. Full of Korean shopping and dining. You'll find a large, "Zion Food Market," and next to it... "Paris Baguette." As soon as you walk through the large glass doors, you're immediately be transported into French atmosphere. The fresh baked goods aromas are crowding into your nostrils. To your right is pastry galore options. "Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta," "Hash Brown Bread," "Pastry Franks," "Mini Grain Cream Cheese Pastry," "Mini Croissants," "Strawberry Croissants," "NY Cheese Tart," "Tiramisu Tart," "Sweet Rice Doughnuts," "Sausage Stick Bread," "Snow Bunny Cake," "Chocolate Strawberry Cake," "Red Velvet Cake," and surprisingly... so much more. The amount of fresh, handmade, pastries this particular location has can be overwhelming. You can walk around and try to find the perfect pastry for yourself and you'll find yourself lost in your inner desires. After walking around, on an empty stomach, trying to select the best pastry, I ended up settling on, "Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta," "Pastry Frank," and "Strawberry Croissant." When you place your order, you have such kind and friendly staff. They were extremely helpful in helping me with my large selection. "Strawberry Croissant," had fresh fruit with fluffy texture and sweet creamy filling. This might be, truly best croissant I've ever tasted. "Pastry Frank," was soft to the touch and the meat inside was evenly cooked that with every bite, it was a perfect dance combination for your tongue. Their New, "Prosciutto Fig & Goat Cheese Pizzetta," was very delicious. The large peace's of goat cheese, mix with other meats and seasonings made a perfect choice for a snack or a meal. In fact, costing under $6, I was full after eating it by itself. I had to take the rest of the pastries To-Go. Definitely recommend this location for pastries galore and friendly staff.

I've tried both the matcha and coffee drinks, and both are amazing depending on whether I need a bigger caffeine kick that day. So far I've ordered the pandan coffee, milk phin coffee, ube matcha latte, and blue coconut coffee. All were delicious! I love trying something new every time because I know it'll hit. One FYI: if you ask for less ice, they don't add extra liquid to make up for it, so don't be shocked if your drink looks a little empty. The drinks also run a bit on the sweeter side. The workers are all so nice and welcoming with any questions I have, and they always get drinks out quickly even when it's busy. Just a heads up: seating can be hard to find on weekends, and parking can be tricky too.

Trung Nguyen - Old Denton Rd (Carrollton)…read more This might be the best coffee I've ever tasted in DFW area I've visited this location three different times. After tasting for the very first time their, Black Phin Coffee (Ca Phe Den), I was truly craving more. BLACK PHIN: It's kind of difficult to describe what kind of flavor it is and what makes this particular Vietnamese coffee blend so unique. I usually prefer hot coffee. When you first get it, it offers a sweet aroma, like notes of condensed milk. But, it's not sweet flavored. Unless you prefer cream and sugar in your coffee. With every sip it becomes more and more uniquely flavorful. It offers a bold flavor for your taste buds. I typically can drink up to two 12oz cups, but even then I don't finish the entire cup. This one, I can finish the entire cup and crave more. ATMOSPHERE: The space is cozy and small. It stays busy throughout the day. It offers limited seating with a unique layout. You will find a few tables with chairs to the left of the entrance. Three open cubbyholes with tables and chairs, on the right side. The middle cubbyhole has a beautiful wooden world map. They have a small waiting area in the corner. This corner offers large wooden shelves full of unique merchandise for all your coffee needs. The shelves look like they've been thoughtfully designed and look elegant without overcrowding the space. SERVICE: All three times I've visited the service has been welcoming, efficient and the order made right. Even if your order is not to your satisfaction, they'll gladly remake it for you. The staff were friendly and helpful if you're new to Vietnamese coffee culture. PARKING: Extremely difficult to get a parking spot here. Be sure to plan your visit accordingly. You can drop your car buddy off and circle around a few times. OVERALL: All three times I visited, my hot Black Phin had exact same consistency as the first sip. Next time I visit DFW area, this is a must stop for me. I highly recommend you give them a try. They offer great menu variety of drinks and food options. They do offer complimentary Wi-Fi, if you need to stay inside, get work done or just catch up with your friends and family.
