Love the concept of AYCD boba and the space would be great for study sessions, meetups or co-working! I hosted an event at Miao for my journal club. My attendees were so pleased with the quiet environment and table set up. The shop also offers stationery goodies from local vendors, which was a highlight of the shop! We were able to purchase stickers and postcards supporting local artists in DFW! The servers were kind and helpful. The shop even offers an option for unlimited refills, if you want to sit and sip for awhile. We would love to come back! read more

Nice boba spot with AYCD beverages (all you can drink - not sure if I ever saw that anywhere before), plenty of tables-seats in a relatively spacious area (a lot of students studying here), prompt service, and also open late - closes around 2:30am on Fridays and weekends. First time I've ever heard of an all-you-can-drink boba shop, and I was pleasantly surprised! My friends and I came here after grabbing dinner on Friday, and this place was packed!! Luckily, there's plenty of parking in the attached garage and a good number of tables and chairs inside the store. However, most people come with a group of 4-5 people since it costs $15 for the first person as a base, and then only $5 more per person, with a max of 5 people per group. We were lucky enough to snag a table, and we got to enjoy their various classic games, including Jenga, Uno, and even Monopoly! They also have some stands that sell various crocheted plushies, stickers, and cool keychains. In regard to the Boba, there is a good amount of tea bases that you can choose from, and so many flavor choices as well. It's awesome that they let you customize your sweetness level, and you can add on toppings such as boba, lychee jelly, or coconut jelly for no additional charge. My friends and I each had about 3-4 Boba drinks, but the best one we had was definitely the Thai tea with brown sugar and boba at a 50% level of sweetness. It was refreshing, and you could actually taste the tea flavor. The boba was soft and chewy. Hopefully, they add some popping boba in the future. We will for sure come back to Miao as it's a great place to catch up with friends and enjoy some classic board games! read more

The first all you can drink boba concept I've seen! It's also great that it closes at 3 am. Perfect place to hangout and support local artists who sell their merch here. SOFT OPENING Experience: There aren't any set drinks at the moment. Just a list of teas, flavors, and toppings (not listed on board but available). I noticed that the teas are more flavorful and stronger than other shops I've been to. They're more than willing to suggest combinations to you if you aren't sure of what to get. The strawberry and peach sweet cream were our favorites. We were told that they use homemade strawberry and peach jams for those drinks, which were wayyy better than the typical fruit syrups shops use. I loved the real fruit bits. In the future, I hope that they have some "signature drinks" people can just order. Marketing their homemade jams would also help them stand out! I also wonder if it's possible to give customers a single cup to use for drinks? That way it's easier to track who paid for the all you can drink and helps reduce plastic waste :) read more

LOVE!!! I would practically live in Miao if I lived any closer. I love the all you can drink boba concept, and it's a pretty reasonable price for it imo!! The atmosphere is so welcoming and cute, and I absolutely love the little artist alley. I love to support artists and small businesses so this place just warmed my heart! The employees were very kind, they seemed at ease and just enjoying the work and the people which always makes things nicer. I will definitely be coming again, thank you!! read more

While upon walking in with friends we were greeted by who I believed was the owner but was very friendly and knowing us it was first time in the store and helped us on how it worked. There is an all you can drink option split between everyone in our party and it was definitely a steal knowing we could have at least 2 drinks per person so we did just that. I ended up getting 3 which the mango black was a 9/10, refresher and as a 8.5/10, and the Baja blast was a 10/10. I asked the employee to make me something bold and he did just that. My group of 3 had a fabulous time at Miao tonight! We could've stayed for hours and hours longer than the hours and hours we did spend there. The ambiance was perfect...perfect lighting, pleasant music, fantastic seating and tables. We were greeted warmly and instructed on how to order. The owner was so kind and even offered herbal tea to us since my friend and I can't do caffeine right now. The drinks were delicious!! We loved how there was real fruit and seeds in our drink to make the passion fruit flavor. Above and beyond. Our favorite combination was dragon fruit and passion fruit. The prices are more than fair. We absolutely loved playing an assortment of games: Clue, Jenga, & Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. There were an abundance of more games to choose from that we will try next time. I can't express how refreshing it was to disconnect from our phones and spend true quality time together in this charming shop. This will definitely be our new staple hangout spot.
