(So be patient if the couple in front of you keeps scrolling for ages looking for something to order.) Then grab a seat to wait, even with one person behind the counter - it didn't take long at all to get our order. We all got the halo-halo and it was delicious. Sweet but not too sweet, super refreshing, and just the right mix of textures where every bite is a little different. The portions were generous too. I checked out this cafe because the jiggly character pudding looked so cute. Didn't expect it to be sooooo delicious!! I got the jelly bunny with lychee jelly, ube taro jelly base with mango, sago, mochi, and grapefruit. I loved the ube taro jelly and my son liked the coconut jelly. It's a cute little spot tucked inside 99 Ranch Market so if you didn't know it existed, you're welcome! If you weren't shopping there for groceries in the first place, it would've been hard to know. You'll left find it in the left hand corner once you walk inside the grocery store alongside a few other small businesses. There are a handful of tables for those who want to enjoy it on site but they are shared amongst the food and drink businesses. Honestly, I only came here because I saw it on social media and there is no other place that does a cuter and more jiggly bunny pudding. You can add toppings to it for an additional cost too...I had fruity pebbles only. The size was a lot smaller than what I expected for an upwards of ten dollars though. Service was fast and friendly. This is inside the mart which we didn't know. I initially didn't like the idea of it but when I tasted what they serve, well I am going to come back for sure! The service is great. The guy working at the counter was very friendly. It's inside of a grocery store so you have this super cute setup/counter and then you turn around and BOOM, there's boxes of produce. Also, the tables and chairs were not clean and many of the delicious treats they serve are not made to take home. We got one of the ice dessert with a bunch of toppings, a smoothie, and a filled waffle. I am all about asian desserts. I have seen coconut paradise but I kept forgetting to stop in. Parking can be a little bit difficult if you come on the weekends but weekdays are a lot easier. THE BLACK AND WHITE: We were confused at first when we were trying to locate this store. It was in the 99 ranch! We ordered at the virtual counter booth and waited for quite some time. I guess the store was understaffed. We got the ube croffle ( a croissant waffle hybrid), that was weirdly placed on a popsicle stick. It was delicious anyways. For hte coconut, we got the grapefruit mango special because that was what listed as the best seller. It was alright. It reminded me of halo halo except super sweet. They had a good amount of free tables, and they were all clean. You just order and seat yourself, nothing fancy. We didn't have to wait very long to get our orders, and the portions were huge. You could easily split these, which I'd do next time. The prices are fair in my opinion since the desserts were all made with fresh fruit and so large. The staff was so kind! They handed out free drink samples to all the seated tables, and the size was pretty large for a sample. I thought the drink and the dessert were sweet but not overwhelmingly so and you could taste all the fruity flavors. Great portions, awesome combinations (that even the CA chain does not have like ube coconut), everything is customizable, cute, and has a solid seating area to enjoy your dessert.
