Piglet and dog gelato -- so cute!
    Allennette A.

My partner and I decided to stop by here after having Korean bbq down the street, and I'm so glad we tried this place! They have classic flavors and unique Asian flavors. My favorite flavor is their Vietnamese coffee one (I still think about it lol). They were running low on this flavor when I was there so I got a smaller scoop of it. If they sold it in a pint, I would've bought two! Very cute concept and I like that they have the option to choose two flavors. Staff was very sweet too

Came here because of the cute characters. Don't get the chicken because if you want the biggest bang for your buck, the chicken ain't it. lol The service was good and the ice cream was pretty good too. I liked the Asian flavors they offered. They'll let you taste them before you purchase as well. Shop was cute and clean.

It's such a cute little place to relax. The ice cream flavors are yum, and they are cutter!! OMG, can you believe eating your ice cream out from these cute little faces? Best of all, the price is not bad at all. We wanted to order so many of them. We were having trouble deciding which flavor and which character to go for. Try it if you are around the area next time!! The server who was there that day, she was great! Her turn around time to make these cute faces were so quick. We didn't need to wait till the characters start melting before the pictures!

Great dessert spot with a lot of unique Asian flavors. They also make your gelato into cute animals too. My favorite flavors were Vietnamese coffee and jasmine milk tea. Service was super fast, the hardest part was picking what favor to get. Cute spot to go to with friends. Also right next door to a claw machine area!

There's something so sweet and endearing about this place. Every time you come inside you'll see a bunch of families and kids grinning ear to ear while taking selfies with their cute gelatos. The gelato itself here is phenomenal! The flavors are so good and the durian flavored is always disappearing quickly. I personally when introducing people to durian, try it here because the ice cream is a perfect first step. The jasmine milk tea is refreshing and the black sesame flavored has a wonderful nutty flavor. Each regular signature cup is $6 with two flavors. The characters comes with only with one flavor and an up charge. Every time I've come here in the evening, there's always a line out the door even when it was 40 degrees out. However you never wait more than 10 minutes to get your gelato.

This was such a cute dessert place after our late lunch. The weather was perfect for some gelato before the chilly wind started to hit. They have adorable characters in 1 flavor, but you can opt for the premium characters to get 2 flavors. They allow you to sample the gelato flavors before making your final decision. It's kind of hard to choose since there are so many great flavors: Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, red velvet, and tiramisu to name a few. The characters look so much better in a cone than a cup. Honestly, it's easier to eat the gelato in a cup because they do stack the scoop pretty high, so it'll end up dripping everywhere with the cone deal. Make sure to have a spoon and napkins handy. Let's just say the gelato was delicious and worth the calories. They have a small sitting area to enjoy your dessert. I'll definitely be back for more in the future.

The cutest sweet treat spot! Love it! Took my little here and we enjoyed the different flavors. The staff member was super sweet. Will be back soon to try other flavors!

This place was so cute! I tried the vietnamese yogurt, vietnamese coffee, and milk tea which lived up to the expectations! They were so tasty. The icecreams were made so quick too. I would come back and try Durian!

Small batch hand crafted ice cream treats with the cutest designs are their specialty along with good customer service and a clean atmosphere... unfortunately this isn't enough to declare their ice cream tastes great... if you wanted tasty ice cream, there are other places to go, however if you wanted cute characters in your ice cream you've found your spot. The kicker, next door is a fun little store with a variety of claw machines...

I have been really wanting to try this place since I was in living in California and it had started in Westminster and it was all the talk. I honestly was kind of disappointed tho :( The ice cream was on the icier side and didn't have a lot of flavor... I tried the Ferrero rochero, chocolate, and s'mores and honestly didn't love any of them. I do love the different ice cream animal options they have and I got the corgi butt! Kind of underwhelming but still cute! The guy working was super kind and it is fun that the place is combined with the claw machine store!

    Jessica T.

Hands down one of the cutest Gelato! I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors they have available. After sampling a few I knew I had to get the milk tea flavor. There was no weird aftertaste or overly artificial flavor but rather beautiful depth and perfect sweetness levels. Is it possible to fall in love with an ice cream? No? Maybe? Because I think it happened to me. You can choose to have your gelato to be various cute animals and we settled on the chicken. I think the main draw back is that they only have two tables and there were no napkins available. One thing to note is that they're connected to a cute claw machine shop so you can head over before or after to try your luck at winning a plush! So cute. So delicious. I can't wait to go back!

This is a super cute dessert place! They can make your gelato into cute characters. For the characters, you can choose 1 flavor or choose up to 2 flavors for their premium characters. The service was quick, and the gelato was great! I got the taro coconut flavor, which was creamy and not too sweet. I chose the bunny character in a cup. There is also a very cute artwork of all the characters on the wall, great for photos.

Such a cute idea and perfect afternoon treat on a hot day. I'm guessing this place will get really busy in the summer. Staff is friendly and it only took about a couple minutes to make my order. I appreciate that they have a few sorbet options as well for those who avoid dairy.

The interior is small but cute with a cool 2D design. The original salt bread is clearly the most popular flavor but there's a few additional flavors such a Bischoff, Dubai chocolate, truffle, injeolmi and red bean. They offer a few options for coffee as well as matcha. I also saw the Dubai mochi here as well. The staff warmed up our breads, except for the sweet ones, which was dangerous because now how could you not eat warm buttery bread in the car on the way home? The salt bread was dripping with butter inside and crispy on the outside. It was not overly salty like a pretzel so we very much enjoyed it. However, the truffle one was divine. I almost went back in to get more of that one. I regret not doing it. We tried one sweet one which was the Bischoff which was also very delicious if you like sweet/salty combo like I do. The only thing I didn't find pleasant was the customer service. Very dry greeting and absolutely no warmth. It was later in the evening but not any time close to closing. There were even quite a few people inside and just hanging out. Perhaps they had a long day but it killed the mood a little, which is why we opted to get the bread to go. In any case, the bread is delicious. I can't wait to get more of the truffle salt bread!

When I saw Dallas was finally getting a salt bread bakery I was super excited!…read more I tried Childish Bakery once right after they opened and unfortunately wasnt too impressed with the service but I decided to give them a few months to settle in before trying them again to write a review :") I think their salt bread is okay, not quite like the ones in Korea but it tastes the best when you eat it right after you buy it! Otherwise it gets a bit soggy and not as crispy/buttery and tends to lose flavor when you take it home or let it sit out for too long. The coffee was also pretty watery and bitter when I had it during my first visit ( i believe i got the banana coffee/latte ) so id probably skip their coffee and either try their other drinks which i havent tried, or just get the bread! I stopped by today for the dubai chocolate cookie since we were in the area. It is pretty expensive ($4-5) for one small regular dubai cookie -- but i will say it is quiite yummy so worth if youre craving it!! We also asked if they had the butter tteok/mochi since i saw it advertised on their instagram and they were very confused by my question and slightly rude to us stating they didnt know what that was and bluntly said they didnt have it ( we stopped by around 12:30pm ) so it pretty much turned me off from being interested in buying more stuff not sure if they were sold out or just didnt have it despite advertising it but i was like oh!!! after they bluntly responded to us TT Not a big deal but both visits being subpar makes me think i likely wont be back to this bakery But! If youve never had salt bread and want to try it, I'd still say you should give it a try. :")

If you're dining in the area, you can choose to skip the restaurant dessert and come here. On my most recent visit, I ended up eating outside due to comfort issues. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Heads up! The shopping strip is very busy, and parking can be a challenge. In the front there are many crêpes behind glass cases. It's like a wall of food art. Inside you'll find an open space with a few tables, tons of dark wood, an open kitchen, but on my most recent visit, it was uncomfortably warm. It's was pretty outside (early March), and there were a couple of benches, so I sat outside. 1/2 Star. Service - I think this is the new trend, but you now order through a kiosk. Now, there a lot of positives, because you can take your time and scroll through the selections. But for me, there's something about interacting with someone and asking for opinions. On the other hand, it allows the staff to craft your crêpe in the open, which is cool to watch. 1/2 Star. Food - Full Disclosure - I went with my daughter so I'm basing this review on her opinion. She went with the Chocolate Banana. Now, it was loaded, and the folks at T-Swirl Crêpe do not skimp on the ingredients. Each crêpe is carefully crafted from fresh batter. My daughter gave her approval. When I asked her how did her Chocolate and Banana crêpe taste? "Like chocolate and banana". Thumbs up. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. While the very warm temperature inside made it too uncomfortable for me to stay inside to watch the staff construct the crêpes, my previous visits have been great. I just hope the A/C kicks in when the Texas summer arrives. 1 Star.
