Steak time.
Adam L.

When I order $200 of Rare Meat - Medium Rare is not acceptable. Medium is also, not acceptable. I am so confused right now. It could not have been more clear when I placed my order - that my main objective was the meat be as Rare as possible. The waitress was more concerned about how much meat I could eat, instead of relaying to the team my need for near-raw meat. When the massive meat platter arrived, I even told the staff this meat is not all rare... No reply. Okay, no more visits. This beautifully designed, cozy steakhouse served me overcooked meat and nobody cared. For the record, I still pay. I still tip well. I don't return... ever (and, yes, I was a regular, local patron of Corrientes 348).

Corrientes 348 is an upscale Argentinan style restaurant. The ambience is very nice, contemporan, and the service is very friendly. I ordered tapa de cuadril, which turned out to be one of the tastiest of this genre I have eaten. Perfectly prepared to medium rare, it was an absolute delight. Grilled zuccini combined nicely, and the accompanying chimichurri sauce as well as grilled garlic bread gave an elegant, final touch. The price was well in par with such a treat. I can warmly recommend the place for the ones craving high quality special steaks.

VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE -- SPENT ABOUT $300 FOR TWO PEOPLE AND WAS INSULTED BY OUR SERVER ON THE WAY OUT I came to Corrientes 348 for a date night expecting an upscale steakhouse experience. Our receipt was $287.84, including an automatic 18% gratuity, and I left an additional tip on top of that, bringing what I paid to approximately $300. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I wasted my money and wishing we had gone somewhere else. The evening didn't start particularly well. We were initially seated toward the back next to a screaming child, which wasn't the atmosphere we expected for a date night at an upscale steakhouse. We asked to be moved, and I do appreciate that the restaurant accommodated us. The food itself was okay, but nothing memorable enough to justify the price in my opinion. We ordered the half Parrillada de Carnes, empanadas and sides. Based on the food and the experience up until the end of dinner, I probably would have given the restaurant 3 stars. What completely changed my opinion happened as we were leaving. Our server was Brenda R., and we were seated at Table 24. Brenda made a comment comparing my appearance to someone else. I immediately responded, "That's not a compliment." At that point, a simple apology would have ended the situation. Instead, she continued talking about the comparison and tried to explain or justify what she meant. What made this especially frustrating is that I had already given Brenda an additional tip on top of the restaurant's 18% gratuity before this happened. I had no issue rewarding the service up to that point. Then, on my way out of the restaurant, I ended the night feeling insulted by the same person I had just tipped. It was also embarrassing because the entire interaction happened right in front of my date. Once a customer explicitly tells you that a personal comment about their appearance isn't a compliment, continuing to make or defend that comparison is inappropriate. The professional response is simply to apologize and move on. I don't know what Brenda intended by the comment, and I'm not claiming she deliberately set out to offend me. But I made it very clear how I received the comment, and instead of apologizing, she continued. Intent doesn't erase the impact of the interaction. For an upscale restaurant where I spent approximately $300 for two people, I expect considerably better judgment and professionalism. The most disappointing part is that I would have given Corrientes 348 a better review before this happened. The food wasn't exceptional in my opinion, but it wasn't terrible. I probably would have rated the restaurant around 3 stars and moved on. Instead, what should have been an enjoyable date night ended with me wanting to leave immediately because of an unnecessary and uncomfortable interaction with our server. I have the receipt documenting Brenda R. as our server, Table 24, on August 15, as well as the $287.84 restaurant total before my additional tip. I will be contacting management because I believe they should know exactly how our evening ended and have an opportunity to address it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Corrientes 348. When I spend approximately $300 on a date-night dinner, I expect to leave talking about how good the meal was--not about being insulted by my server on the way out.

My friends and I came here for DFW restaurant week. It was our first time at Corrientes 348. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were so friendly. We ordered off of the dinner menu. Started with the empanadas and salad which were both amazing. I had the pollito a la provenzal, it was perfectly cooked with a side of pure de papas which were so creamy and delicious. I finished with the creme brulee. The portion size was big so I got to bring my leftovers home and enjoyed everything again the next day for dinner..I highly recommend this restaurant, I will definitely be back soon!

I came in on a slow Sunday night for the first time. I order food, sit down to a slow rainy night and wonder; "I hope this place is good because that Steak expensive ." After I order my food a random waitress pass by and says. "You're going to love this food." I said sure. As I thought this dude do not know I'm about the fattest food critic you will ever meet. Order: Filet 8oz grilled pineapple, Fried rice, Broccolini, Moscow mule. I have to say, the food is well prepared from cow to belly the steak was simply amazing. Well cut, cooked and served. The sides set the example of what a side should be. I tried the wine, absolutely stunning. The staff were top notch, the decor does not complement the quality of the steak and wine. I have to visit again to try more. :) The desert...

We moved to Dallas a few months ago. The hubby and I were looking for a steak house. -and we were not disappointed. We celebrated our anniversary here. Would have loved a decoration since I reserved it and she asked me the occasion. . But nada They bring you toast with chimichurri bread so yummy We started with the empanadas my fav were the veggie ones. The reviews about the empanadas don't lie. I ordered the ribs half order and they are fantastic I like that it's not smothered in sauce Rather served on the side. The hubby ordered some steak that was bigger than my head haha. He was impressed. We ordered 2 sides to share the onions and potato slices. We saved room for dessert and boy they were fantastic can't just order one. We ordered the lava cake which the staff said is home made. It's amazing The hubby ordered the apple crepe also served with ice cream so good. We had some drinks as well. The cucumber martini, an old fashion and finished off with expresso martinis. Chill place with great service and food This is a must. We will be back.

In a town that knows steak, this one really stands out. The huge Argentinian grills are visible, where logs are burned to hot coals and make magical meat. The empanada appetizer is the best ever. My wife and I split the 16 oz filet and grilled potatoes and it was incredible. Highly recommend!

The staff is so friendly and seems like a family. The prices are 10% under comp eateries. It's as if the owners took the best part of all fine dining and combined them. Here it is a relaxed but respectful environment with food that you would think comes from a Michelin rated spot. The clientele is eclectic and younger. I'm 47 so I am not like those around me but can see the client base. I'm not sure if it's the minimal menu (please take this as an anti Cheesecake Factory comment) or the items compliments that are setting it apart. What I mean is the steak by itself is amazing. Truly a top 10 steak (ribeye at $48) or the accompanying sauce that it setting it apart. I advise take two to three bites from different stations of the meat. Then take the same bites with their paired glaze. Make your own decisions. You aren't telling the full story if you didn't pair it with a great house Bonanza cab (actually on happy hour except for Fridays). The verdict. This place will be one I will always take clients to when visiting Dallas. The verdict on me is that I'm a steak based reviewer so I might be wrong on all other aspects but the only likely wild card here would be the salads and seafood. I'm not here at a steakhouse for anything else. My wife can write that review. Last PS is that Dave the bartender is nice and accommodating and will let you explore the space . He is matter of fact but possibly could be a friend if not already to all. Watching Dave now live with his regulars says that he balances all customers very well. Negatives. Parking is just slightly odd. There is plenty of it and valet is free to customers. Let's not worry. No rush to get here at 5. The regulars and common come in around 6 as all others do on a Friday (this was my second night after being here for Thursday) Food has arrived. App is the carpaccio and holy shit wow. Not some boring small plate that exudes poor people suck. It's above average size like it should be . I'm not sure why the garlic bread is hear other than a nod to old school. My steak is in a to go box (nicely wrapped with utensils and yes that matters when you travel). This is my steak and if it sucks I'll remove the review. I'm kidding as it's a to go. This is a real world review. I do one long review every few years.

There are booths along the wall, although we were seated in the middle of this giant room. The restaurant is modern and has an upscale vibe. Dress ranged from casual to people getting dressed up. For starters, we shared the Oysters Rockefeller. They were not my favorite. The flavors were not balanced and there was too much garlic. A couple of the oysters were extremely chewy and had to be discarded. At $18, they were a disappointment. For entrees, the wife had the Branzino and liked it, although she mentioned several times that the Branzino at Zeppole is much better. I ordered the Bistro steak which is a 9 oz tenderloin. The meat was cooked to medium as requested. However, it was not seasoned at all. I guess the cook thought that the peppercorn would compensate, but I got my sauce on the side and ate the meat without. Only after I found out that the steak was not seasoned did I add the sauce. The sauce was ok but did not have a lot of flavor. I have had better. A big problem was that the "steak knife" that I was given was so dull that it was impossible to cut the steak across the grain. I could only sort of tear at the meat as I cut with the grain. The knife needed to be serrated and it was not. It was not a proper steak knife, which made eating the steak a chore. The meat was tender, but certainly not Prime and certainly not the most tender tenderloin that I have ever had. At $31, which is very inexpensive for tenderloin, I guess you get what you pay for. The fries were thin and crisp and the best part of the entree. For dessert, the wife and I shared a piece of pecan pie and it was excellent. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Our server Marcella was professional and efficient. No complaints. There is complimentary valet parking. The concept behind this restaurant is an affordable steak house. These days, the cost for two people at an upscale steak house will easily exceed $300. Our bill at Steakyard was about half of that. Once again, you get what you pay for. Our meal was good, but not great. I could easily go 3 stars but I will bump it up one star based on the ambience, service, and dessert.

The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. I cannot wait to return.

We started with the Smoking Barrel, mixed with rye, Peychaud's, Angostura, peach bitters, orange peel, and smoked mesquite. The fresh popovers served alongside the first course were airy, warm, and a standout touch on their own. The fried calamari was crisp and tender, served with remoulade, marinara, and grilled lemon. The braised tenderloin hummus was equally well-executed, topped with chili oil, onion ash, and green onions with warm pita. For the mains, both cuts of meat arrived cooked to temperature and seasoned with precision. The 6oz filet mignon came paired with cacio e pepe ravioli, while the 12oz ribeye was served alongside asparagus and marbled potatoes. The wine pairing selections matched the steak courses well without overpowering the plates. Dessert closed out strong. The banana pudding featured a rich banane du Brésil custard, vanilla wafers, and toasted coconut, while the chocolate tart balanced dark chocolate over a hazelnut crust with peanut butter mousse.
