I found my love of empanadas many years ago in South Florida. I was pleased to find a place dedicated to empanadas in my own back yard. I did a beef classic and the Argentine style beef. I got a side of the chimichurri and what a delight! This is tucked away in a strip mallish type of area within the Lakeside food paradise. Stopped here with a great friend. The staff treats you like family and will help you along if you aren't sure what to try. There is a small eating area inside but the great thing is they will back some up for you to take home with great instructions on reheating. I took a half dozen home for the family and they loved them as much as I did.

I was told this is a family run business, and mom and dad cook the traditional Argentinian empanadas and pastries daily. My friend and I were patron's for the first time and the gentleman in the front made great suggestions as to what we should get the first time around! Upon ordering they warmed our empanadas up in the toaster oven for 5 minutes. They were served at the perfect temperature! We enjoyed everything that we ordered and we WILL BE BACK! Thank you Del Campo for such a great experience.

Amazing service, great Cafe con Leche, and tasty Medialuna. Clean, nice store with beautiful music. Support this business, thank you.

First time here today. Great empanadas and pastries. Loved how passionate and friendly the two guys behind the counter were.

I ordered via DoorDash a shrimp and a spinach empanada. I also ordered a guava cream cheese pastry. Everything was tasting very good until I found a piece of plastic inside the shrimp empanada. I wasn't sure what I was at first.

Awesome mom and pop shop. Nothing beats handmade empanadas. Friendly staff always asks if you want them pre heated or not. 10/10

Holy smokes, how did I not discover this place until now?? I got to meet the owners, mother and son, and they're rightfully very proud of their delicious food. The Picana Steak is a seasonal empanada and I really hope they make it a permanent item here. Honestly the flavors here are incredible and when you add their special Chimichurri sauce, it's a mind blowing symphony of savory spices. Their desserts are really good too! It's not overwhelmingly sweet. If you pair it with their cafe con leche, you have the makings of a perfect breakfast.

Recommended by a tita from a coffee truck when I asked for empanadas recommendation. Ordered the ham & cheese, spinach, and beef empanadas + Argentinan style cafe con leche. I love the vibe here. The service was also excellent here. I would definitely come back next time to try their other flavors of empanadas and their dessert. 5 out of 5 stars

Really good pasties and empanadas! Get the classic beef or Argentinian. This is a small family owned business that is doing it all well here.

We tried this place on the way home from Gaylord Texan. There is free public parking lot so parking was not a problem. The restaurant is modest and small inside, with only about 5 small tables, plus a couple for outside eating. You order at the counter and they warm up your choices and bring them to you. The restaurant was pretty busy with a lot of order so we waited maybe 8-10 minutes. The food: we ordered 5 empanadas. They are $4 each. I had a regular chicken, chipotle chicken, and regular beef. All were good but the chipotle chicken was my favorite. The dough is light. I would say 3 for a regular-sized man is enough, I was very full. The wife had the Argentinian and chipotle chicken. I really liked her Argentinian. It had beef, raisin, green olive, and good spices. Next time we are going for chipotle chicken and Argentinian as they were the most flavorful.

What an empanada! Come over to meet the staff of this family owned restaurant. Fresh and served hot. This crust is light and crispy. Try savory and sweet like we did. Enjoy the Argentina music and eat on the outdoor patio. This is a great lunch spot and they cater. For inquiring minds, their bathroom is fresh and clean.

What took me so long to try out this place!? I was immediately greeted by Lau who gave me a brief overview of this true Argentinian cafe. Lau's mother makes all the empanadas and you could tell how proud he was of his family business. The cafe is clean and comfortable with colorful decor and plenty of empanadas to choose from. There are also deserts and drinks like Argentinian coffee and Yerba Matte. I will definitely return and bring my husband next time, since we love to support small businesses especially ones that have such delicious food options like this!

The brother and sister working front of house were extremely friendly. As soon as I entered, I was immediately greeted. When I told the female employee this was my first time, she explained their offerings. Rather than get the new sandwich item or the Argentine pizza, I went with their namesake items and got a couple empanadas: Beef Classic and Argentine Style Beef. They had some additional offerings, such as, Meat Lovers, but I chose to stick with their standards. When asked if I wanted dessert, I immediately chose the Banutella. Although there was signage top of the display case, she could have mentioned the discount on ordering two empanadas and a dessert. If I had not purchased soda bottle from the fridge, I would have been offered free tap water, either iced or not. When I got my order, I thought utensils would be offered especially since the Banutella was messy with its powdered sugar topping. As none of the other diners had utensils, I assumed none were available. Sometime later, a couple were given utensil and napkin packets, so they are available by request only. Although I am not a fan of olives, both the Beef Classic and Argentine Style Beef were amazing. Surprisingly, beef and raisins in the Argentine Style does go well together. The raisins gave a slight sweetness to the beef and egg combo. Without utensils, I did not try the sauce to prevent the empanadas from being too messy to eat with hands. The sliced bananas topped with Nutella in the Banutella tasted great. My only mistake was not requesting it in a box. After devouring the two beef empanadas, I barely had room to finish the dessert.

After they serviced the person behind me they went back inside and took about 8-10 mins to comes out and attend to me. I would like to note that valet is $10 and they do take tap to pay. The man did apologize though . I go inside and the host gives me directions to my table. People ordered drinks and we're having conversation around 9pm we ordered out food. Our food doesn't actually come out until 10pm and the restaurant closes at 10:30pm. During that hour wait, they come around with different starters on the house: the polenta crisp and ding form of pork sausage. For the polenta crisp they fishing explain what they were putting on the table so we initially thought it was regular potato fries then we thought it was yuca. That was nice but it got to a point that we just wanted our actual food. When the food finally does come out everybody's food is various temperatures. I ordered the Pollito a la Provenzal and it like warm. The chicken was flavorful but pretty plain by itself. The portions of some of decides it pretty nice so ended up sharing them around famiky style. Between the mashed potatoes, broccolini, and the grilled potato slices the best was the mashed potatoes. It was flavorful, nice creamy and a good temperature. We asked for the bill shortly after receiving our food and that took another long wait and when we got our tickets peoples bill's were wrong. We had a large party so note that they charge automatic gratuity. The restroom was a little dirty. There were hand prints all over all the mirrors. Overall my experience was not that great.
