Well, I suppose it depends on what you feel is edible vs. not edible. I took two bites and felt like I was eating a Tres Leches cake (the consistency of, definitely not the taste), if I wanted that, I would have chosen a place that is known for desert. After those two bites, I threw it away. Pecan Tart: What was this? Think of a pecan pie, that's what you found under the fruit. I don't know how to describe what that was under it, but it wasn't good and did not compliment the fruit of pecans. I can only assume the cake sat for a bit due to the level of moistness, unfortunately. I will not visit again, but as with most things, I'd suggest trying it for yourself.

What makes Society so unique and interesting is that it is in a gas station mini-market. When you walk in there are typical mini market racks of food and other items, but on another side of the market is the coffeehouse portion. Do not call this gas station coffee! Society does a tremendous job on the beverages they create and rival any coffee location in the area. I had a hot latte which was smooth with a kick. Very enjoyable. A standard latte is a basic drink, but not everybody can get it right. Society gets it right My wife enjoyed her own latte. Her's was iced, but she had a bit of cayenne syrup and a touch honey. She loves a hint of sweet and a hint of spicy. They nailed it. None of the additions overpowered the coffee and everything blended together really well. Shh, don't tell the theater that I said this, stop here for treats to sneak in your bag before the movie!!! The owners are absolutely sweet! They helped us out by making Pokeball cake-pops for my kiddo for his last birthday; for a very reasonable price; so we will likely come to them again for birthday goodies! For walk in they have awesomely decorated sugar cookies that can change week to week, cake balls, macarons, etc. They have also started having some drink options that I don't remember them having previously. I love this somewhat floral notes that get added to beverages or desserts that use pandan in this had them. The espresso was also strong, which isn't always true when you're getting a latte. I'm so thankful they were such great host, and hope we get to have another event here!
