Our first tasting earlier in the day set the bar incredibly high--warm hospitality, thoughtful service, and an overall great experience that made us feel valued as customers. We still decided to attend our second tasting here only because a deposit had already been placed. We arrived about an hour early, acknowledged that upfront, and simply asked if we could wait. While it's completely understandable that they couldn't accommodate us early, the way it was handled made all the difference--and unfortunately, not in a good way. The employee's response was noticeably rude and dismissive, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than potential clients. Customer service is everything, especially in the wedding industry, and this interaction alone was enough to make us question doing business here. We ultimately decided to walk away and requested a refund of the deposit. We were told only a manager could assist, and later received what appeared to be a generic AI-generated response stating that refunds were not an option. That lack of personal accountability only reinforced our decision. To add to the concern, the interior of the shop felt cluttered and disorganized, which didn't inspire confidence given the importance of this purchase. At the end of the day, first impressions matter--and this experience spoke volumes. For such an important event, you want to feel confident, welcomed, and valued. Stopped by here on the way home and was immediately greeted when i walked in. It's very bright and even though they were making a cake and doing the finishing touches they came to help. I got six cupcakes that all looked and tasted delicious. My favorite was the red velvet. It was very moist and wasn't overly sweet. read more

I picked up a Too Good to Go box the other day. The plus - they're incredibly friendly and nice. What I received - 3 cupcakes (red velvet, vanilla, chocolate), 1 cake ball, and two small sample pieces of cheesecake(?), which were 1/2" squares. The value of what I paid for what I received was a little below average. I gave 2 cupcakes and the cake ball to one of my neighbors (I'm not sure if they liked it, I haven't had a chance to speak with them yet). My experience - the 2 cheesecake samples were okay. Couldn't tell what the flavors were. The cupcake I had (chocolate) tasted stale - it was dried out and coarse in texture, too dense, and very sweet. There was a strong artificial extract flavor I found a little unappetizing (for me). I wasn't sure what to expect, but I personally wasn't a fan. With so many other bakeries that are nearer to me, I have other options that I prefer. read more

I want to give specialty cakes by Amanda a shout out for being a part of too good to go, which helps reduce food waste. I had been meaning to give them a chance but finding them on there gave me the kick into doing so. Prices of items in the case seemed reasonable, the staff member I talked with was kind and welcoming. Though the shop itself could use some extra lighting to brighten it up, but I think a part of that is the shopping center vs the business. Too good to go review: Got the bento box which was a small 1 layer cake. This time it was strawberry cake with beautiful rosettes all over. It was a nice size cake for 6 bucks. Flavor was good, cake was moist, icing was dense. Quick service. They had a lot of options that I would like to check out. I'm an icing fan so the dense icing might be a problem but I'll try some other options to see if I like them- strawberry cake is not a fair judgement considering it's my least favorite cake flavor. read more

Me and my wife were coming out of the meat market and we saw this place and decided to give it a try.We walked in and was greeted.She said today is your lucky day because our cupcakes are half off.We were happy about that and decided to get half a dozen.Well later on that day we ate a couple of them and they were really dry.I guess I was lucky I didn't pay full price for these.Well the next day I tried to eat another one and it was dry as a bone.I ended up throwing the rest away.I'm not sure if these cupcakes were a couple of days old or what?Either way they shouldn't be that dry.I might give them one more shot but if they are like the last ones it will be the last time. read more
