A friend recommended this place for tres leches and chocolate flan. He gave a small napolean cake along with single cakes to try. Its was so tasty and not overly drenches in milk (if that makes sense). So I recently needed a cake and the young lady that I spoke to on the phone was so patient and an informative. When I stopped by the next day, I decided to get several single cakes (choc flan, napolean tres leches and chocolate cake. I didn't realize that their cakes came with decorations upon request. The single sliced had nuts and drizzle upon request. If only the chocolate flan came in a a smaller size. I am impressed that the service is so phenomenal. The older lady spoke limited English but they younger gal provided excellent service. I will come back whenever I want a tres leched or flan cake. If they offer other desserts, I will support this small business for sure read more

Luisa from Claudia's Cakes was so easy to work with, and did an amazing job bringing my cake idea to life. Definitely check out their instagram for ideas, it was really helpful to reference when deciding on the design. The variety of tres leches options is unmatched in the area, and they are so friendly and responsive! Got a custom 10" Neapolitan tres leches cake with a cielito lindo design. We have used Claudia's for our birthday cakes many times in the past and until now we have always been very satisfied. Our most recent purchase was greatly disappointing to us and made the birthday girl very sad on her day. Typically cakes from you are very beautiful and pretty as shown in the picture of the brown colored cake and in other reviews. But the cake we were given is the pink one, please note that WE added the tiara and the candles. So we were essentially given a cake decorated less than a Walmart cake for an UPcharge since it is "custom". A deterioration of standards is what kills businesses and all of us at the birthday party could not believe that Claudia's would think that this cake was okay to be sent out. I do hope that Claudia's reaches out in some way so that we feel encouraged to continue to go to them in the future for every birthday. read more

Perfect place to pick up a delicious cake if you're in a pinch! Claudia's Cakes came in handy when I needed to purchase a cake for a same-day function. They offer an array of Tres Leches cakes with a variety of flavors (espresso, chocolate, strawberry, Neapolitan, pina colada, marble, etc.) There were three sizes to choose from. The medium size fed 18 of us! After picking out my cake, they asked if I'd like them to write anything on the cake/include strawberries and nuts on top. They took it to the back and quickly added the words and toppings. Service was incredibly fast and the ladies were very friendly! I selected the Neapolitan Tres Leches cake. It was such a hit! Not too sweet or overly moist. The chocolate and vanilla cake layers perfectly complimented the strawberry cream. Will absolutely be purchasing another cake from Claudia's in the future! read more

Looks like CLAUDIA'S CAKES' specials is TRES LECHES. The fridge is stock with regular-flavored tres leches cakes but if you want a specialty-flavored one, you can go ahead and call for those ahead of time. Claudia's is located in a center in the suburbs just east of Fort Worth and the parking lot is large and free. The people working in the bakery are nice and friendly. We were helped not very long after we walked in (there was another group in front of us) and we were out the door not too long after. The cake was AMAZING! So moist and yummy and not too sweet! read more

Tasty Neapolitan tres leche cake. It wasn't drenched in milk. We needed a cake for the day and they were open exactly at noon on Sunday when we arrived. The whipped topping was not too sweet and stable while sitting out for an hour. I will be trying their buttercream in the future. Thank you! read more

Stopped in after asking a friend where they purchase their tres leches cakes. Got a traditional tres leches for a friends birthday. The lady that assisted us wrote on the cake for us. It comes with a fruit topping, which I asked for them to not place it on there. No issues with the change up. The cake was dryer than everyone was used to. It was a two layer cake that was "iced" with a whipped type of frosting all the way around. Different from other tres leches I have had, but still good. read more

We have purchased many cakes from Claudia's - both last minute from their prepared case to pre-ordered custom made for work events and even a wedding! Top notch service, truly delicious cakes and helpful, reliable service - can't ask for more than that! Great neighborhood gem - give them a try, you won't be disappointed! PS They also sell by the slice - a great way to try different flavors or offer your guests a variety. read more

Claudia's is my newest go to for delicious cakes. As a tres leches lover they have many different options to choose from. I suggest the strawberry and the Neapolitan to start. They also have these delicious tres leches strawberry parfaits. I always get one because they are too good to pass up. Just remember not to open the cases. They will come out and ask you what you want and get it for you. That's a plus for me since I know less people will have been handling the containers. They will also offer to drizzle chocolate and nuts on the cakes as well as adding extra caramel to your flan. You should definitely take advantage of that. I've been here about 5 times now and it's always consistently good. I'd take a picture but by the time I remember I've always already eaten the delicious cakes. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is easy, and they work in Spanish and English. read more

So I think my hopes were set to high. I ordered a vanilla slice of cake & I 2 pineapple pastry thingees. I don't remember the name. The cake was wet & light. I didn't care for the taste or the cake overall. The little pastries were good, really good. read more

My sister's gender reveal/birthday party was just around the corner and I was in search for a cake. With some help from Google, I came across a picture of a cake with stars on it and knew I wanted something similar. After failed attempts at 3 different stores, I began to have doubts whether I would be able to have the cake our dreams. I'm not one to use Yelp for anything, but it came to the point that I had no choice. I knew I was taking a risk with trying a new cake place. Location was a huge deal to me, as well as open on Sundays. I came across Claudia's Cakes as one of the top search results with excellent reviews and decided to check it out. I walked in and was greeted by friendly smiles and an inviting atmosphere. I met Claudia and discussed my needs for the cake: a marble cake, able to add stars that stand on the cake, and ready by July 5th. Once she said yes to all my criteria, I knew she was my lady. After a turn of events, we had to change the event date at the last minute from July 5th to July 4th. The morning of July 4th I explained the situation to Claudia and she said no problem, and was able to have the cake ready by that afternoon. Not only did the cake look beautiful, but the flavors were incredible and not too sweet. I could not have asked for a better cake - taste was on point and so was the price. I will definitely be back! read more

Super yummy cake! You have to stop here if you love tres leches cake. Amazing flavors. Topping are added fresh after you pick your cake/slice. The best part is that it's not overly sweet. You won't end up with a sugar headache after eating this cake. It's also affordable. Standard pricing for a birthday cake is $3 a slice. But you can always stop. Y and enjoy a slice at the bakery at $4.06 after tax. Soo good guys. Today we purchased cappuccino and Napoleon. read more

I decided last minute I wanted to get a nice cake for my daughters birthday. I called this bakery And they told me they usually need a weeks notice but I could go in and show them what I wanted and they'd see. I only went about 2 days before. When I went in they were very helpful. I gave them about 4 choices and they said I could pick whichever. They just wanted me to be satisfied. I ended up going with Marble tres leches and showed them a pic from Pinterest. The cake came out beautifully and was delicious. All 12 people that tasted it raves about it. My daughter (who is super picky and the cake was for her 15 birthday) even said it was one of the most beautiful cakes she's seen. I would definitely recommend this place. FYI they had a tablet full of cake ideas also. Cakes they've done for other customers. And wow. Those cake decorators are talented and pretty affordable! read more

6 Months after I posted my review, Yelp contacted me to say that my honest and truthful review was being taken down for violating their guidelines. 6 months is a long time to pass before removing a negative review. I can only surmise that Claudia's Cakes protested a "negative" review and had Yelp remove it. It still stands though, I will NEVER use Claudia's Cakes for any of my events. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I have since found another company that has consistently offered exceptional customer service and product quality. read more

They don't have seating, which was sad because I wanted to enjoy the shop and the feel of a family owned bakery. I ended up eating the cake with my friend in the car in front of their shop lol. They also didn't have vanilla tres leches, which is like the most popular and classic flavor, but that was okay! I got the Neapolitan instead, and it was AMAZING. So glad I discovered this place. Would definitely return. They have so many flavors that are unique from your typical el rancho or fiesta. The lady was also super friendly and helpful and I am all for it. read more

Best cakes in Tarrant County hands down. Tres Leches is a total winner no matter the flavor.

I called to get a price or see if they could help me with a cake. The person that was to make my cake let me know 2 days before the party that they couldn't do it! The person that answered the phone start lecturing me that I should have called 3 weeks earlier. This I know. I thought they might have something already made we could work with. BEWARE! I arrived at Claudia's cakes and what's usually a good experience with a young female upfront turned into an argument about customer service. A different female up front who "assisted" me had an attitude from the beginning. No greetings at all. I then asked for a coffee tres leches cake and she grabbed one from the first cooler. I seen other coffee cakes near by with expiration dates and asked what was the difference between the two. She responded " It's written on there (Monday) that's what it means. I asked her if she knew the definition of customer service. I was upset after going there several times and referring customers there, This lady makes me believe they are either switching expiration dates or just don't care about customer service. While checking out, a short man with an obvious napoleon complex abruptly appeared and ignited the situation instead of diffusing. He even gestured shooshing me away. My elderly mother in law was with me and cried emotionally due to the treatment at this establishment. The ignorance in this place in rampant and I would avoid this place in the future.
