A friend recommended this place for tres leches and chocolate flan. He gave a small napolean cake along with single cakes to try. Its was so tasty and not overly drenches in milk (if that makes sense). So I recently needed a cake and the young lady that I spoke to on the phone was so patient and an informative. When I stopped by the next day, I decided to get several single cakes (choc flan, napolean tres leches and chocolate cake. I didn't realize that their cakes came with decorations upon request. The single sliced had nuts and drizzle upon request. If only the chocolate flan came in a a smaller size. I am impressed that the service is so phenomenal. The older lady spoke limited English but they younger gal provided excellent service. I will come back whenever I want a tres leched or flan cake. We have used Claudia's for our birthday cakes many times in the past and until now we have always been very satisfied. Our most recent purchase was greatly disappointing to us and made the birthday girl very sad on her day. Typically cakes from you are very beautiful and pretty as shown in the picture of the brown colored cake and in other reviews. But the cake we were given is the pink one, please note that WE added the tiara and the candles. So we were essentially given a cake decorated less than a Walmart cake for an UPcharge since it is "custom". A deterioration of standards is what kills businesses and all of us at the birthday party could not believe that Claudia's would think that this cake was okay to be sent out. Perfect place to pick up a delicious cake if you're in a pinch! Claudia's Cakes came in handy when I needed to purchase a cake for a same-day function. They offer an array of Tres Leches cakes with a variety of flavors (espresso, chocolate, strawberry, Neapolitan, pina colada, marble, etc.) There were three sizes to choose from. The medium size fed 18 of us! After picking out my cake, they asked if I'd like them to write anything on the cake/include strawberries and nuts on top. Claudia's is my newest go to for delicious cakes. As a tres leches lover they have many different options to choose from. I suggest the strawberry and the Neapolitan to start. They also have these delicious tres leches strawberry parfaits. I always get one because they are too good to pass up. Just remember not to open the cases. They will come out and ask you what you want and get it for you. That's a plus for me since I know less people will have been handling the containers. They will also offer to drizzle chocolate and nuts on the cakes as well as adding extra caramel to your flan. You should definitely take advantage of that. My sister's gender reveal/birthday party was just around the corner and I was in search for a cake. I met Claudia and discussed my needs for the cake: a marble cake, able to add stars that stand on the cake, and ready by July 5th. Once she said yes to all my criteria, I knew she was my lady. After a turn of events, we had to change the event date at the last minute from July 5th to July 4th. The morning of July 4th I explained the situation to Claudia and she said no problem, and was able to have the cake ready by that afternoon. Not only did the cake look beautiful, but the flavors were incredible and not too sweet. I could not have asked for a better cake - taste was on point and so was the price. I called this bakery And they told me they usually need a weeks notice but I could go in and show them what I wanted and they'd see. I only went about 2 days before. When I went in they were very helpful. I gave them about 4 choices and they said I could pick whichever. They just wanted me to be satisfied. I ended up going with Marble tres leches and showed them a pic from Pinterest. The cake came out beautifully and was delicious. All 12 people that tasted it raves about it. My daughter (who is super picky and the cake was for her 15 birthday) even said it was one of the most beautiful cakes she's seen. I would definitely recommend this place.
