Excellent snack or quick breakfast…read more I prefer them freshly fried but without any icing. But their icings are as good or better than most donut shops. The stand out here, is hot food. We would return cold eggs or pizza. Why do we always settle for cold donuts? It's not like that here though. Who could be against warm donuts?

Yum. Yum yum yum yum YUM YUM YUM…read more Okay, a few more details: Bite My Biscuit (BMB) made the trek to Lewisville to grace us with their presence at Witherspoon Distillery, and I'm glad they did! But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

I really wanted to like this place, but that was not the case…read more When I walked in, there was no one visible, I had to wait for a few minutes before being greeted. The store was very quiet, I was unsure if someone was in the shop, altogether. Once greeted, it wasn't warm (that's okay), it was more matter-of-fact. Italian Cream Cake: This happens to be one of my favorite cakes, and I couldn't wait to take it home to enjoy. Well, what do I know, it was not edible. Well, I suppose it depends on what you feel is edible vs. not edible. I took two bites and felt like I was eating a Tres Leches cake (the consistency of, definitely not the taste), if I wanted that, I would have chosen a place that is known for desert. After those two bites, I threw it away. Pecan Tart: What was this? Think of a pecan pie, that's what you found under the fruit. I don't know how to describe what that was under it, but it wasn't good and did not compliment the fruit of pecans. I can only assume the cake sat for a bit due to the level of moistness, unfortunately. I will not visit again, but as with most things, I'd suggest trying it for yourself.

It was also still chilled/cold when I received it which is something that sometimes gets screwed up with delivery places. I don't have much of a standard of comparison for this beyond cheaper mass-produced options (*cough* edible arrangements). This was definitely pricier but I think you get what you pay for. Delivery was on time and the board was very tasty. My wife loved it. Highly recommend this place. It was convenient and very high quality.
