I had the donuts this visit, it's the same sweet 1" donut but you can add any of the drizzle flavors listed. The donut is great- it's a light cake consistency (not the glazed type you can find at Krispy Kreme) and is sweet on its own or add drizzle for more flavor combos. Staff is friendly, prompt and kind to the kids. Would be nice if there was something for kids to do here, perhaps a bucket of crayons with color your own Llama paper available or a selfie ring with the llama statue up front #sugarllamas and change the neck handkerchief with the seasons. The place was spotless and had adorable llama decor that made my toddler excitedly run inside. I ordered the cookies and cream mini donuts, while my husband got a vanilla shake. My daughter and I absolutely devoured the mini donuts. They weren't overly sweet and were so light that I didn't feel heavy afterward, which was perfect. I had wanted a sweet treat and found ourselves on this side of town. I had pulled up yelp to look for some options, and my husband had mentioned that his boss is a big fan of Sugar Llamas. I opted to try a single donut which are small, but reasonable to trying a particular flavor before deciding to a multi-pack. Though I didn't think to ask if we could pick different flavors for each donut in a multi pack. I know we tried one or two items, including a shake, and took pictures but I must have forgotten to load them! We liked everything that we got though! Not sure what people see in this place. Ordered 6 cinnamon donuts and a sausage roll. The donuts were cooked in oil that looks like it should have been replaced months ago. Very dark and not appealing. They were then tossed in a sugar cinnamon mixture by hand, then some type of glaze applied on top. Way too much glaze and sugar mixture. Donuts were soggy and doughy. First bite of sausage roll was a surprise. Sausage way too hard or firm for the roll. Got a few bits of gristle. By the end even the roll was too bready, not light and fluffy. Maybe good for kids but definitely not for me. The other stuff in the shop hopefully is better. Not for me. read more
