Location On Main street-mid downtown Grapevine, Texas…read moreParking Street, public lots, public garage Atmosphere Classy but casual rustic Texas building-brick walls, large bar, bakery on one side and restaurant on the other side Wifi-need password Note-no reservations on weekend-get there by 10 am-wait list available Seating Sofa and easy chairs in front window, low tables/chairs-booth lining one wall-bar Service Outstanding-attentive, thorough, friendly Menu So many choices!! I met there with friends and we each had something different. The waffles looked fluffy and stacked. I had the avocado toast-added eggs over medium and bacon. Generous spread of avocado on just right textured brown bread-not too thick or thin-or soggy-could handle the toppings.the bacon was crispy and crumbled over the avocado. The eggs-medium-perfect!!! It was served with a small arugula and cherry tomato salad!! YUM!! One friend had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were not as tasty as she expected. The la Parisian breakfast-scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a huge croissant was delish. Large Bacon slices and nicely scrambled eggs-very nice. The mimosas were generous and served with a strawberry garnish-we had the pomegranate. Very refreshing and did I mention generous!! The coffee was replenished without prompting. Summary We went with a friend from New Orleans and this bistro reminded me of the places we dine there-beautiful decor, outstanding service, the best food!! Everyone happy!! Can't wait to return!

It was time for another visit to La Madeleine to take advantage of their very nice private room for…read moreour Toastmasters club meeting. The restaurant is always so gracious, letting us use the room. Plus, what's not to like about dining at La Madeleine! All of our members went through the line and ordered what they wanted. Everyone loves that! My wife ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant. She's never met any chicken salad she didn't like. I opted for the Café Sampler. It included a cup of La Madeleine's incredible cream of mushroom soup, a tossed Caesar salad, and a slice of Quiche Lorraine, one of my all-time favorite quiches. Of course, we had to stop by the bread bin, which had an assortment of breads and jellies. Oh yummy! After a short wait, our entree selections were delivered to our table by a server with a welcoming smile. Our entrees exceeded our expectations and were delicious. Thank you, La Madeleine and staff, for the wonderful visit, great food and awesome service. We'll be back to see you very soon.

I don't recommend eating here for a couple of reasons. They are poorly stocked. They have young teenagers or uneducated individuals in charge that don't care about the restaurant or the patrons. The ownership clearly needs to make updates -and hasn't. The coffee maker is so loud the event that rented the backspace couldn't even hear their presentation due to how loud the coffee maker was. It wasn't dirty or gross, but someone needs to spend some time making it a welcoming venue. I won't eat at this particular location again ever until it is updated. The one in flower mound is so great! It's clean and well managed with the manager present all the time walking around checking on you and making sure your food is right Flower Mound as well stocked, and never out of anything even at closing time.

Everything was flavorful, cooked well, and hit the spot. Even though it was a busy day with the World Cup on, the staff did an excellent job keeping up with our drinks and food. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'd definitely come back to watch another match.

We've visited this Londoner location before and have always enjoyed it, but this visit was…read moreextremely disappointing. The first thing that stood out was the condition of the restroom. It wasn't just messy from heavy traffic--it was genuinely dirty, smelled like a porta-potty, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. That was a huge letdown. We sat on the patio to watch the World Cup match, and none of the outdoor fans were working, which made it incredibly uncomfortable. It also seemed like the restaurant was understaffed and unprepared for the event. Considering they've hosted soccer watch parties before, I expected them to be much more organized. There was a wristband system in place, so while it was busy, it wasn't overflowing with people. Our waitress was very kind and did her best, so I don't blame her. Unfortunately, every bill at our table was incorrect, and we ended up just Venmoing each other to sort it out. Drinks also took a very long time to arrive, even though we were ordering simple items like beer. The most concerning part of the experience was that three people in our group became extremely sick afterward. The only thing they all had in common was that they each ordered the fish and chips. I can't say for certain what caused it, but it was concerning enough to mention. Overall, this visit was a major disappointment compared to our previous experiences. I hope management addresses the cleanliness issues, improves staffing and preparation for major events, and looks into the food quality so future guests have a much better experience.
