Not from Grapevine just here on a quick trip and googled a bakery and Maria's had great reviews, so we decided to stop in around 2pm. They didn't have what I was looking for so I went with some other pastries, they were fresh, soft and delicious! My family was very happy. The staff is also friendly! Highly recommend

Horchata shake

Definitely visit! The bread is sooo delicious and the drinks too! We got two horchata shakes and a mango shake and wow. The horchata is a crazy good!

Run, don't walk, to Maria's Bakery, in Grapevine, Texas, off of William D Tate. My family and I are concha aficionados. Most pastries, and donuts have an aftertaste. It's usually oily, and you taste it, 5 seconds after you swallow your bite. These pastries have no aftertaste. They also have excellent bread and cookies. We have been to all of the panaderías in DFW. Maria's is the best. I will be getting all my cakes there, in the future. The proof is in the flavor. These are homemade, from scratch. Thank you.

Finally! We are thrilled this has opened in our area. We found out that the owner makes their own pan dulce. We came for the first time today, was slow.Which was good for us because no need to wait in line. Limited selection when we came, 0730. That was due to the people that almost bought out the bread at 0600. The pan dulce was soft and yummy, a taste of home. Will be visiting again soon.

I came way too late in the day (didn't pre-plan at all haha) so I did miss the brötchen however I got some Bavarian rye & an olive loaf, plus a square of pumpkin spice crumble and lebkuchen. I immediately tried everything when I got home and I am THOROUGHLY impressed. I will be coming back immediately for the brötchen even though I'm quite far! I particularly recommend the olive bread: it genuinely tastes like you have just dipped a piece of great bread in some well seasoned, quality olive oil! Finding this bakery means a lot to me. I used to live in Germany as a child and because my memory isn't great, I mostly have my palate / sensory memory to go by. These flavors brought me right back. I noticed that stollen was being sold but I didn't pick it up just because I wasn't sure about the authenticity. Now I know that I definitely want a piece - you have to have at least a half loaf during the holidays!

This is not a place you can sit to eat and drink; there is no seating, so expect to purchase and go. I got a country loaf, wheat loaf, and three almond bars for $22. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I sadly have to agree with some of the other reviews about the customer service. There were two women working while we were there. The younger girl was sweet and friendly, but the older lady was quite rude and unpleasant. Seeing as I had been excited to visit for quite some time, it was disappointing and off-putting to be met with attitude/grumpiness from staff. Ultimately, I can look past it though, as the bread is worth it.

Every single one we tried was good, but the lemon bar cookie? Say mane..... That one was my favorite for sure. The salted caramel was also absolutely delicious, and you really can't go wrong with a classic chocolate chip or snickerdoodle either. The options are amazing and honestly that's the dangerous part because now I already want to go back and try more!!!! The service was excellent too. Everyone was super friendly and patient even with how busy it was. Parking on the weekend is a little wild, but there's so much over there that it's honestly worth parking and walking around for a bit. Plus I love supporting a Black-owned, woman-owned business that's putting out treats this good!!! Absolutely yes. Absolutely will be back.

In…read morejust a few years, Cookie Society has grown the OG Frisco location (opened during COVID) to multiple stores in DFW. Luckily for the folks in Southlake, you now have your own place to go. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The location in Southlake is the smallest location that I've been to. While there's no merch, there is still the intoxicating smell of freshly baked cookies along with several cookies behind the glass case. It's simple, but that's ok with me. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. I came (back) for Yelp Week (thanks again, Kendall) because it was an excuse for me to get more cookies. The staff offered to share their story, but I politely asked for the flavors of the month. They even packaged up the cookies in the beautiful Tiffany Blue boxes for me. 1 Star. Food - Full Disclosure, Cookie Society cookies are my favorite in all of DFW, so this review may be biased. Each cookie is perfectly baked where they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you choose one a flavor is something inside, it's soft and gooey. Cookie Society will rotate flavors each month, but they keep several staples on hand all the time (chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, etc.). It's a great excuse to return. Horchata Snickerdoodle was one of the rotating flavors as of this writing. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I drove all the way to Frisco when Cookie Society opened. When the Addison location opened, I jumped for join b/c it was close to home. Now there's a Southlake location for my family. Can't wait go come back. 1 Star.
