    Amazing!!!!

OK, so this is just the sandwich place but the sandwiches are amazing sometimes when you want a sandwich, you really want something hot and they've got great hot sandwiches. They serve them up in these big boats and they add chips and the chips even were very very good. I usually don't eat chips, but I ate every last one comes with a drink as well. There are so many sandwiches to pick from and the problem is they're all good according to my friend that I went with lunchtime plan extra time because there will be a line we went around 2:30 yeah we had a busy day so we had to skip out on lunch at regular lunchtime by the time we got to this place we were starving Marvin, but that was OK. It was well worth it to sit down and have something delicious.

So I have been here a few times and while the food was good it was an awful experience because you were elbow to elbow with patrons and in a hurry to eat because others were eyeing you for your table. Soooooooo now that they remodeled and expanded the dining experience was great! Other than the fact that they serve Pepsi. The ordering is a bit like the "Soup N***i" like on Seinfeld; you better be ready to order when it's your turn. I found it funny and they are really quick to get your order started and then you pay. It's interesting that the kitchen runs with minimum employees working. My husband loved his Mark Cuban sandwich, the mustard taste was key for him and I really liked the Pastrami which is the classic sandwich toasted on marble rye bread, cheese, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. Both served with chips. Love the expansion where there were lots of tables, relaxing view of Main Street. The head cook, not sure if he was the manager but came out and asked if you enjoyed your meal, he was personable. Nice touch. Awesome experience and will be back.

First time here. The selection of sandwiches is extensive, which can be overwhelming while standing in line. Something for everyone. Line moved quickly. Sandwiches were very flavorful. We enjoyed the bake potato salad more than the ferman potato salad. Seating seemed ample for the lunch hour during the week. Parking can be a little challenging during peak hours or weekends.

What a treat! We got lucky and was able to park right in front of the restaurant...a line was already out the door. Service as usual was spot on. Super fast! Tried the Dirty Dozen Sub and added mayo. It's delicious! Spicy and glad I added the mayo. My counterpart had the Cheesesteak sub. It was good. Both "sandwiches" are HUGE! We loved the baked potato salad..it's sour cream based and super tasty.

This Chicago-style deli is legit with a massive menu!! The options felt endless, it was so hard to choose. Make sure you're prepared when you walk up to the counter-- I thought I was until the dude started rattling off "wet" or "dry" and the list of toppings. I threw up my hands and said "I'm an amateur, this is my first time here!" He slowed it down and walked me through ordering, lol. I went with the Italian beef, dry with the juice on the side. So yummy! I love that it came with a handful of crinkle chips as well. If I was local I'd eat here all the time! The inside is small with a handful of tables and a few extra outside. It was pretty packed on a Friday afternoon!

I usually keep it simple when it comes to subs but since the ciabatta bomb seems to be the crowd favorite, I gave it a try because why not. I did have the onions removed, however. Not a fan of raw onions. The sandwich was really good, very flavorful as everyone has stated. It came with potato chips and a pickle spear. With the sub being as big as it is, I'll be eating on it all day. I'm glad I ordered pick up because when I got there, the line was long. I will definitely return and try other subs.

I probably had the best sandwich in a while here! It was packed!!!! They had a lot of choices to pick from so you will definitely find something you like! My favorite was the jay bird!! Literally it taste like a bruchetta or a charcuterie in a sandwich but better!!!

I ordered from uber eats, the driver said this place must be good because it was totally packed in there. This menu is extensive, I was mouth on the floor impressed. Was craving a good deli sandwich & checked what was close & this place won. I kept adding sandwiches to my bag & then at the end had to decide from 4. LOL However, the California pastrami won out. It was amazing! Salty, a tad bit too tangy but California does like their mustard unlike us southerners who prefer mayo, maybe it's just me. I still like my mustard, just not by tablespoons. It didn't stop me from devouring that sub! Delish. I also ordered the jumbo peanut butter cookie. Finger licking good down to the last crumb! Highly recommend this deli! Just glance at the menu & you will want to try it or have it delivered at least! Try it for yourself & let everyone know what you think, We're waiting!

Another sandwich only this time it was off menu. So comforting. I need the recipe to the jalapeño cornbread stuffing. I also need the location of where to buy the Cajun turkey. I freaking love this place. Keep em coming boss

Weinbergers Deli is a NY style Deli that serves some killer subs and sandwiches. You can never go wrong with anything you get here. They have vegan and vegetarian options too. Service is friendly, everyone is kind and helpful. The food comes out quick. The sandwiches are made to order. They compliment well with the their house pickles and sides. I love the location it's in the heart of downtown grapevine which as you know is cute and rustic. This place is an awesome to stop by when you wander around downtown.

Stopped in for lunch and it was exactly what I expected. Extremely packed deli with a line zig zagging around tables and a few outdoor tables. I was able to get a parallel parking spot on the street but I could see parking being tricky in this area. The line moved quickly but you still have time to read the massive menu above the counter. The staff was friendly and kept everyone moving as fast as they could. I went with Morgans Turkey and a side of jalapeño coleslaw. The sandwich came with chips and a pickle, which I didn't realize since I grabbed a bag of chips as well. The sandwich was large but perfect for how hungry I was. It tasted fresh and I was lucky to find a table outside. I'd definitely come back. The only negatives are parking, the chaotic line, and finding a table during peak times.

Truly the best sandwich place in DFW. I got the chicken pesto sandwich and oh my gosh sooo good. I love that it's located on Main Street in grapevine... so much to do around! Service was good! You can tell this will be a hidden gem from the second you walk in.

I waited a short time for someone to come from the back, and my sandwich was ready, but sitting packed up, behind the counter. Why have a mobile order pickup area of you don't use it? I ordered the turkey bacon avocado. It is a bit cheaper from the other chain sub shop in Grapevine, and I was interested to see how they matched up. First off, they added my pickles. I like pickles and it can slip past people's attention, as it is not a standard topping. The bread was soft and the sandwich was a good size. The bacon was nice and crispy, but I found the filling a little skimpy. The turkey was completely lost. The strongest flavors were provelone and bacon, but it is essentially a turkey sandwich. There just wasn't much of it. Nor the veg. Lettuce and tomato were just barely present. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't GOOD. We always get the [Jumbo] Hot dog, which is not as big as you'd expect, but it's tasty. We enjoyed eating the Jumbo Chili Cheese Dog, Char-Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, and the Char-Grilled Polish Sausage. These are all the hot dogs we typically order. We're not fans of the Italian Beef Sandwich nor the Big Beef Sandwich; they typically have a lot of gravy in them. The Char-Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich wasn't worth it. If you side the gravy and don't add peppers (an extra charge), you'd literally just get the bread and the sausage. The fries and onion rings are usually mediocre, but it's good served as a meal. It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.
