    Chopped Cheese Hoagie

Writing my review with this being the 2nd time here! Along with the place being super clean and staff being so patient and nice, The chopped cheese is AMAZING! My husband has got the Philly cheesesteak twice and each time has said "this is the best Philly I've ever had" and he's an avid fan of them. I'm going to work my way to trying other things on the menu... but that chopped cheese is just too good to pass up! Definitely worth the stop as we drive 30 mins to eat here! You won't be disappointed!

I've never had a chopped cheese sandwich, but I'm happy I chose this place to experience it. The customer service was great, and the young lady at the front had great recommendations, and I'm happy I followed her advice with the chopped cheese. The first bite, YES!! I can't wait to try some of their other menu items, their panini being one of them. The store is connected to their Chicken & Rice shop, so there's plenty of room, and the establishment is very clean and well-organized.

I finally got a chance to visit this spot last week, and I was not disappointed--I only wish I'd remembered to come sooner! The recommendation came a year ago when I visited their sister store next door, after a flight; a staff member there told me to check this place out when it opened, and he was absolutely right. I was in a rush but decided to take a chance on the chopped cheese after being told it would take about 12 minutes. To my delight, my order (the chopped cheese and fries, plus a great spread recommendation from the helpful employee) was ready in only 6 minutes! The sandwich was incredible. The brioche bun was soft and fresh, the meat was seasoned to perfection and cheesy, and the fries were simple - perfectly seasoned, crispy, and hot. Service and food were both top-notch. 10 out of 10, easily.

I'm pretty well versed in Phillies/Hoagies etc. and from personal opinion it's either good or it's not. These are good!!!! What I also will note is that you can tell the quality of the meat is top tier. Taste pretty healthy without all the grease etc. I will be back!

Saw this place the other day and i decided to try it tonight.I got the Ruben along with some fries. The fries were nice and hot and pretty good. Now on to the Ruben.Overall it wasn't bad but some parts of the sandwich was a little chewy.Definitely not the best I've had.It wasn't horrible by any means but it could have been better.I probably wouldn't get the Ruben again but I'll give them another shot.

Now listen here.. I ain't never had a chopped cheese in my life nor have I ever been to New York. When I saw this place was close to my house I had to pull up and lord after that first bite that chopped cheese was INHALED.. I'm talm bout INNIT! I ordered it just the way it's served with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, american cheese, and the hoagie bread. In my opinion it's a must try but like I said it's my first time trying a hoagie so use your own judgement. The workers are nice and friendly and the ambiance is immaculate and clean. I'll have to come back and try some other things on the menu. Definitely looking forward to that.

Service was fast and staff were friendly. Place is clean and well maintained. Sandwiches are packed with meat. The food was ok my boyfriend's cheesesteak was better. The chicken had way too much pepper in my opinion. Overall I'd go back in the future.

Great hot and cold sandwiches, fries, etc. tried the Ruben and the Philly Cheesesteak both were very good as was the fries we shared. We will be back to try a panini. Small area to sit but most take it to go. This is the first day they were open. Very impressed for an opening day.

Not a real Bodega. Slow service with bland food at way too much money. Nothing on the walls, very depressing place to eat.

This was a hot sandwich and a large one at that for the small. Everything about this sandwich was so good, it was evenly layered and the three meats work well together and the cheese was a white cheese but it's definitely imported so it was different but melted so good. I would suggest dining in to truly appreciate your first try! I got the chance, to try their avena- hanna/maize $4.99 which is their take on oatmeal. It's Vanilla based and had a sprinkle of Cimminon. I loved this so much I bought the Quaker version to take home. They had a small storefront available with goodies from Puerto Rico which I also indulged in by taking some cookies as well. This was a nice touch for those who want a reminder of home flavors. I also got to try their take on a savory empenada, pizza flavored. Let me just say I'd take this over a hot pocket any day. Lastly on my way out I ordered a passion fruit juice for the road, very refreshing and the perfect way to end my meal. The environment and staff were so welcoming and truly bring the love from Puerto Rico to Hurst. I had the privilege of being introduced to the authentic take on their food and I can't wait to return to try more!
