The lady at the counter was friendly and attentive. I ordered a burger and unsweet tea. The burger was excellent and fixed exactly as I ordered. Food was okay, I work close and have always been a fan of burger box, i typically drive to the one on 157 near trinity high school as it's been my favorite. I decided to try the one on raider and all was fine till I was told it was a charge to refill my small soda cup. Had a cup full of ice just don't see how it was even fair to charge for a refill that would only be a few sips. Regardless I can get free refills at every other place with the fountain drinks so I just prefer to go to those places. is 75cent refill worth loosing customers over? My wife and I frequent Burger Box once or twice a month. Hands down, McDonalds sucks coffee to Burger Box. The fish burgers are our favorite, with a large piece of fish, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Burger Box also h the best milk shakes made with Blue Bell ice cream. My main criticism of Burger Box is that they don't change their oil frequently enough. I'm sure it's done as a cost-cutting measure. But rancid oil not only makes the food taste bad, it's bad for a person's health. They're one of the few places that serves onion rings and so I have bought them there. At first I thought it was an off day but after four different visits I realize that it's a deliberate decision on their part which I find unacceptable. So I had a coupon for Burger Box in the latest Entertainment book and since I'd been to the location on Glenview, I decided to give this Burger Box a look. First of all, I should've checked the coupon closer... Despite the back of the coupon listing every Burger Box in the Metroplex (it seems), this location is not listed. So, they don't take the coupon (but every other Burger Box location surrounding them does which is weird to me). Anyhow, my mistake (and I would never give any store 1 star just for that). It was the associates attitude that earned them this 1 star. The place seemed completely un-busy (no one in line, maybe one other person in the dining area and no line visible in the drive-thru). Before we discovered that they don't accept the coupon, my girlfriend and I stood there for a second trying to figure out who's turn it was to pay (we share the cost of going out). I even informed the associate about what we were discussing only to notice the look on her face like we were holding her up and/or bothering her. It was so blatant that even my girlfriend noticed it (and she's not one for taking notice of things like this). I was willing to let it slide (since I was thinking that I was getting a discount anyways), but when she informed us that they don't take the coupons I suddenly remembered that there are far better places I'd rather spend my money at (McDonald's and Jack-In-The-Box are super close to here, and cheaper). I've been to this location in the past and I've gotten Delicious burgers and Delicious shakes. However today I ordered a burger, fries,coke, and a small chocolate shake to go. The burger was bland no taste not hot. Fries were cold, coke was flat and my chocolate shake tasted bad!!!!! All I tasted was milk and no chocolate! It's like they put a spoonful of ice cream and not a scoop. I am very disappointed. Beware the lady that runs the register gets pissed easy and will spit at you and when I told her never mind I didn't want my order and wanted a refund she said to bad. Then chased me out of the store acting like she was wanting to fight me when all I did was.
