Terrible experience. I went to store to order for to go. I did order skinny BLTA with mayo and Swiss cheese. I heard that the guy who took my order told the another guy who is preparing "Skinny BLTA". But somehow I got "Skinny B" !!!!! Where's other LTA??? I found it out after I arrived at home. Horrible place. I ordered a BLTA and they gave me bacon on a toasted piece of bread. No lettuce, no tomato, no avocado, they gave me a sandwich with just bacon. Hi Y'all. How's your Monday the 13th? Hope it was epic and the start-up to a beautiful week. Monday after a clock rollback is tough for those that have to get up. In solidarity with you, I slept in the extra hour.. for you. Wasn't that nice of me? I'm too good to you. Any way. Got late and I just didn't feel like cooking or eating anything heavy. My sons have always told me to try PBS. I have driven by it since it opened years ago on the way to and fro. I just thought Firehouse was the bees and their tiny knees. It is. Well, tonight I looked on Yelp at Potbelly Sandwich Shop. Everything clicked. The top was down on the swanky convertible for a brisk eves drive. Walked in, and was greeted through the door. Nice. The store was incredibly neat, trendy, clean, warm, and organized. So far so great. Used the App in-store to build freebies points. Gotta get my points on. Ordered a comparison sammie. My FH fave is Italian, so let's compare Italians. prep time was minimal. The booths are comfy, so the wait isn't bad. I cheated on my sugar numbers game I play with my doctor and allowed myself a Dr. Pepper from the fountain. Fountain drinks are rarely as good as bottles or cans. This was as close to cans as I could imagine. Lots of fizzzzzz. So my sammie is up. I unveil it. Steamy, hot, lots of fresh veggies. I ordered extra lettuce and pickles. The pickles are cut lengthwise. Yikes! So extra means extra. Massive win. Unique layout. Most shops add meat on the bottom bun, then cheese, then toppings. At this spot, they make a meat canoe. Yes. A meatnoe. Meat is cradled across and between both buns (naughty) I thought about how that sounded after writing it. It stays. Then the cheese. Toasted so it has a nice buttery crust. Then the veggies and topping are put in and the sandwich is closed around the veggies with meat, cheese, veggies bottom, then cheese and meat on top. The veggies are surrounded. It was weird enough to be incredibly delicious. It was as if tonight, Monday the 13th, I had my first great sub. What about dessert you say? I ordered my son his go-to, and an emergency Italian sub for tomorrow. Anything could happen. You never know when you'll need an emergency sub. I'm ready. Got ready to leave, and compliment the staff on preparing the single best sandwich I've eaten yet. Even better than my own fried bologna, or fried Spam. Love this sandwich place! Got a few sandwiches to go for a trip to the park with the kids today. The place was packed and I can't blame anyone. They give oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with kids meals and WOW! I got the Mediterranean and loved it. The spicy hummus they put on it is on point. My kids chomped down and even my 2 year old scarfed the Mac n cheese and she typically doesn't like Mac. I love that they have an option for thin bread and not just loafs. Potbelly hits the spot for a hot sandwich. I've been wanting nothing but sandwiches lately and potbelly has been scratching that itch. I've been getting the Italian with mayo n mustard and dressing which is pretty good. They also have zapps and being a Louisiana native I love that. Not much else to add to the experience I wanted a sandwich n got one from a good franchise. They kinda pricy though. The problem was with the 3rd party delivery service not y'all's employees. I'm upset that it doesn't tell you on the website 3rd party delivery service drops off your food or lack there of not actual employees. The driver delivered my food to a day care on the ground and left and I live in apts and didn't call me, the teacher from the day care took time out her day to call me to tell me where my food was. This is not good customer service and makes yall look bad! Your website should tell people that door dash drops off your food had I known that I would have ordered some where else or made other arrangements to get food. The store did offer a refund but I opted in to just asking them to re make my food and we picked up our selves! I paid a lot of money for two people to eat and I was satisfied that they didn't hassle me and just re made my food and not make me refund it and have to wait on the money to come back Maddy was very nice and accommodating to my needs she needs a raise! So thank you miss maddy! Yall need to fire door dash! If I could complain on the dasher I most certainly would they need to be fired from dashing!! Came in late when storms knocked our power out. A nice location we've been to a number of times (used to be our primary one until we got another location closer to home). Friendly staff, made a great sammich! The place is clean, kept straightened up, the refill center tidy and stocked, restroom pretty good. Nice spot! I got the number four with mayo, mustard, spicy relish, and banana peppers. Don't ask me what the Number 4 is; I picked it because it was the number 1 sandwich on a Mashed.com list. It was delicious! I never went here before and can't wait to go back. I couldn't eat it for 20 minutes because I had to stop at a donut shop that wasn't closed this past Friday at 10am (seriously, what was going on?) and it was still great. I love the crispy bread and the tangy meats with some oil and vinegar. This is the friendliest staff I have come across in a long time!! Tried a potbelly sandwich for the first time recently! In the past I think we had gotten a free cookie or a shake coupon from kids events where they had gotten coupons for those kinds of treats but had not gotten sandwiches here. Normally We are not fans of sandwiches that come with a pre-set list of ingredients because we feel like we're loosing money by having to take stuff off & then possibly pay more to add things we want. Was looking to try something different and had seen they had a new avo-turkey sandwich, which was set up how I would want a sandwich... possibly only removing or subbing a sauce ... and got a side of Mac n cheese. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, I hope it becomes a permanent item on their menu. The mac n cheese was just ok, personally I wouldn't get it against Next time I'll try a soup instead or go with a bag of chips. Today I went to potbelly to order an avocado and turkey sandwich with all vegetables except pepper. I told the sandwich maker and paid for my food at the cash register. After paying for my food my sandwich never came. 2 customers after me proceeded with their purchase and left with their meals. I asked the cashier if my sandwich was coming soon and he told me they messed up my sandwich and was remaking it. After waiting an additional 7 mins I asked again where my sandwich was. He asked what was on my sandwich and the sandwich maker came to the front and asked the same question. I waited for another 5 minutes and said I wanted a refund. After requesting the refund the wrong sandwich was handed to me without any of the additions I asked for. I requested a refund again and the cashier gave me attitude and told me to get my refund from the bank. The sandwich maker said it'll take 5 days for my refund but other than that their was nothing she could do. I do no appreciate the attitude and disrespect from the cashier after they messed up my order. read more

I went to pick up food for my husband and me. The restaurant was not busy, but it still took a while. Our sandwiches weren't given a toasted or not option. They were given to me cold. I had an issue ordering, because everytime I asked if something had onions, the answer was always yes. That's a bummer. I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, the staff is friendly. The food is good, but I bit down on a chunk of hard plastic one day. As I was letting the staff know that they should look around for where it might have come from so it doesn't happen to someone else, I watched one of them smack the knife on the edge of the plastic bins the ingredients are kept in. And right in that spot where they smack them all day, the edge was broken off. Same black plastic. So I pointed to it and let them know that I found where it came from. They didn't seem to care. I went back one more time a week later and that same bin with pieces breaking off into the lettuce was still being used, and they were still smacking it with knives doing their best to put sharp plastic into the food. Such as easy fix and such an easy way to get sued but they didn't seem to care at all. Subway isn't nearly as good but I've been eating there ever since. read more

This post is not directly related to the food but I wanted to spotlight the great attitude and candor of one of the managers here. A customer who came in and refused to wear a mask asked to speak to a manager. He tried to argue with the manager and was aggressive and condescending with his tone and was simply being difficult (to put it nicely). The manager continued to repeat that the mask was part of their policy and followed the guidelines of the local health officials. Despite the bad attitude and rudeness displayed by the customer the manager kept his cool the whole time and was perfectly polite to the gentleman until he finally left. I didn't get the manager's name but he was a Caucasian male around 50 years old perhaps. At any rate he deserves some recognition. read more

Potbelly is one of my favorites and the ones I've visited has always been friendly and on top of it. I ordered food online, didn't realize ordering online are in bulk. I walked in to pick up and the cashier was so rude. She didn't even look at me or didn't want to hear my question, she just pointed me to the bin that I had already looked at. When I got my food, the lady handed it to me was just as rude. Got in the car and looked inside the bag to find pounds of meat only. The online ordering app is not user friendly. We were in rush and need food so I went back to get online. They were so slow, one girl was standing by their computer waiting for online orders to be printed and another person maybe a manager running around looking very confused. It was only 2 of us in line for a while then about 5 additional People walked in the line. The the girl making our sandwiches was so slow and decided to take everyone's order at the same and putting it all in the toaster line. Naturally sandwiches started piling up by the time she got to it. The cashier just watched it pile up until someone told her to help. It was just horrible watching them work. read more
