The service has really gone down. The customer service isn't what it used to be. The guy at the register wasn't very helpful with the menu. Didn't have anything good to recommend about the menu. I asked if we could replace fries with onion rings and tots, he said yes, but failed to let me know that they have an extra charge for each item. I wouldn't recommend. Also, we let them know the sprite in the machine was flat; the manager ignored us. The food isn't worth taking a photo!!! The service left a bitter taste!!! Definitely a thumbs down!!! read more

I've driven by this place multiple times, always piquing my curiosity on my way to Dutch Bros! So about A week ago we stopped by after looking online and seeing they had steak fingers (like chicken fingers but with ground beef) and figured it would warrant a try. It did not disappoint, the place is old school but I wouldn't call it a classic diner, they take their orders on paper and hand it to the cooks who you can see making the food. We kept it simple with the steak fingers the first time but the second trip we decided to experiment, getting the steak fingers, a cheese burger, and a grilled cheese... pretty satisfied with all of them, especially my sister who is now addicted to their grilled cheese! Also the baskets come with crinkle fries that are awesome. (The combo only adds a drink). From the people in front of us in line they were ordering everything from the fish basket to hamburgers and everyone seemed satisfied. I have to say they have an ice cream area and have classic shakes with blue bell ice cream that I'll have to try on my next visit!! Note that the entrance can be a bit difficult and sometimes going inside is easier than the drive thru, even for to go stuff. read more

Have you ever walked into a place and felt like everyone was staring? That's what I felt here. Who cares, the struggle is real so let's just love one another. I tried making a joke with the cashier because a sign said, "IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A RECEIPT ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE MGR"...the time felt opportune to say "no thanks" to the receipt and ask for the manager. I'm not asking for Fran Drescher but a smile would have been suitable. Not this chick. I got my food along with David and his, we had the same amount of fries and I paid extra for a large order. Cancel. Cancel. I paid $3.30 extra for what?! The joke's on me because I didn't even notice until I looked at my damn receipt. At least the fries were hot and fresh, surprisingly big I might add. Well, I did add... but they were! the burger patty, like the pics other yelpers posted, was also very thin. Think McDonalds happy meal hamburger thin, and not even the mighty kids one. Aside from the size, it tasted pretty good! I got the "Thunder Burger" which for the purposes of this review, I'd probably name "A Chance of Rumbles Burger." If I'd known the sautéed jalapeños would be pickled instead of fresh, I could have 86'ed them along with the tomatoes. No. Just no. I'll give it a star for the food and the banana split, but that's it. The food, however, is a bit scanty; but my issue is the customer service. Like someone else mentioned, the staff just kind of stares at you when you talk. I tried to make a joke and the clerk just stared back at me and gave a kind of nervous chuckle. Then, it took much longer than it should have for a fast food joint, at one point I had to ask if they'd forgotten my meal. The manager said the lady who took my order would be making it shortly, but the next time I looked over, he was making it. Honestly, I just felt like the mentality of the person taking my order was "Please just tell me what you want so I can get this over with". I don't think she even wanted a job! I've worked retail, and I can tell you employees like this can, and will, kill business. That said, when I went to the Burger Box on Raider Dr., my experience was far better! The staff was more than friendly, and when I mentioned that this one didn't seem as good as they were, they kind of rolled their eyes and nodded, like I wasn't the first customer they had that had complaints and issues with this particular location.
