My wife and I have always been curious about burger street, so when the time came and we wanted to try something new, we did. Here are our thoughts as we went through the drive through: *Service seems very friendly and kind *$27 for two burger combos is steep, like five guys steep. This should be good *We receive our drinks through the window. My root beer is flat, my wife's Dr Pepper is flat and tastes like mild root beer (1/5 for drinks) *We wait about 6-7 minutes, not a bad amount of time considering there was no traffic/business. Probably had to fry up a single batch of fries. Staff comes to the window to check in, let us know it won't be long. Two thumbs up. *The curly fries are quite good, a little dry but with some ketchup they'll do well (4/5 on the fries, nice!) *We get home and open our burgers. Burger looks great, however, looks can be deceiving. The burger was either unseasoned or majorly underseasoned. Tasted flat and was pretty disappointing. (2.5/5 on the burger) This business has some prime locations and a few things going for it. If they can find a way to attract new clientele and improve on their staple item in the name, it's possible they'll still be around in five years. This is the best burger I have had in a long time! I do not live anywhere close, but this is the closest location to me so every time I am on this side of time I always make a point to stop here hungry. The food is always made fresh. Your side is curly fries and not for extra charge. I get the single patty burger with cheese. They don't have value menu prices, but I think I'm paying for the quality which is fine with me! Burger Street definitely has my favorite burger in DFW. My go-to is the Double-Double Cheeseburger with large curly fries and it's more than enough to fill you up. They have switched fries from curly seasoned fries to bland barely edible straight fries. They blame a supply shortage but uh... both are potatoes so that just seems like a lie... These fries are not good at all perhaps the worst fries I have ever had.. they have a weird texture and while they still call them seasoned I dont even think they had salt.. very bland. Definitely NOT seasoned I pulled up and couldn't even tell if the place was open. I honestly looked closed. Nobody except 2 cars parked that must have been employees. Still I had to wait a couple minutes to even get acknowledged at the drive through, and then it was to tell me to wait some more. For no apparent reason. What the heck am I waiting on this place is dead as it gets....the soda I got tasted like it was only half syrup and mostly just carbonation. It was HORRIBLE. Yuk. The burgers are still amazing. This is one of the best fast food burgers you'll find in this region. This particular location is very new and clean, the employees were very nice, and the dining area was spacious. It is also one of the few places I've been to recently that has a comfortable climate. You order at the counter and they give you a number. You help yourself to a seat and they bring the food out to you, similar to Whataburger. The menu was printed very large with pictures on the wall behind the counter so it was easy to decide what to order even while being unfamiliar with their offerings. They have the typical hamburger, cheeseburger, chili frito burger, deli turkey sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, tenders, etc. They have a really interesting burger with green olives on it. Side choices include fries, sweet potato fries, tots, onion rings, chili, etc. I got the double burger and added jalapenos. Wow it was really good. The portion was much larger than I expected. The patties were similar to the old Braum's patties before they changed them recently. The meat was very juicy and tender. Really, it was interesting because the meat wasn't greasy, it was just... juicy! I got a side of chili and it was really good. It seemed to be carne chili without beans and it had very strong seasoning. I'm really enjoying the few burger places around that offer chili as a side and this may be my favorite of those places. You can help yourself to complementary soft-serve ice cream cones of vanilla, chocolate and swirl flavors. My one tiny critique is that the fountain drinks are behind the counter rather than self-serve but the employees were kind enough to refill but I can imagine a bit of a wait if it were busy. Finally drove up to window, and was told by the person there ignoring me, that they decided to close early. Get the odd feeling they may be near a permanent closing or sellout. I've been here twice in the last month with my teenage kids, and we all loved it! It's higher priced than other fast food places, but has an excellent dine-in experience. Their burgers are similar to Whataburger in size, and are made to order fresh. My oldest got the double double, I got a bacon cheeseburger, my younger son got the chicken strips, and my daughter got the chili cheese frito burger, and they were all delicious! It's rare to take all 3 kids to a restaurant and not have any complaints, but Burger Street was a great experience for all of us. The dining room was very clean, they have a couple of TV's on with sports to watch, and the kids loved that there was a complimentary soft-serve machine with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I also can't say enough about their curly fries and tator tots - they were served hot and fresh, and were crispy on the outside while almost fluffy on the inside. Infuriated! My husband served this nation for 30 yrs in the Marine Corps. We went to get lunch & we saw that 3 young people were manning the store. We ordered, and the largest cook started making millennial snide comments of hatred & distain for the armed services. What this drone needs to know is, he talks too loud! The others kept looking and giggling like toddlers. Our order came up WAY to quickly. The meat was NOT cooked well, still mostly pink. We threw the meals out, we just can't trust the preparation. Great burgers and sides. Terrible service. Their hours indicate that they are open until 9:00pm, but if you get there after 8:30pm, they'll be closed with everyone gone and the lights out. Came here on a whim. Thought I would try something new. We did the drive thru because we were short on time. You need a little bit of time if you plan on coming here. Even the drive thru takes a minute. However, that isn't a horrible thing is it? Food that is made when you order it. I ordered without a bun because I am trying not to gain weight. They were very accommodating to my request. They asked if I wanted it lettuce wrapped or in a bed of lettuce. My kiddos enjoyed their burgers and fries. I did try one fry and it had a great taste. So I wish that I could give out half stars as I really want to give Burger Street three and a half stars. I am not convinced that I am a fan yet, but there service makes them better than A-OK. I have been here twice and tried two different burgers. The Bacon Cheese burger was good, a big 1/3 pound burger patty with lots of fresh tomato and lettuce. This weekend I went in and had the olive burger with cheese that I added. The olive burger was really my favorite of the two. The olive burger add sliced green olives to the burger instead of the bacon. The olives provide a little tang and a great lavor to the burger. We have tried the sweet potato fries, onion rings, and cheese stuffers for sides and all three have been delicious. The pricing is not fast food pricing, but I would not compare their burgers to a standard fast food burger so you are still getting what you are paying for. The staff at the Roanoke location have been very friendly and helpful both times we have visited and I am sure that we will go back in the future. read more

I love this place, everything is great from the burgers to the chicken strips. They also have great chili fries and aren't stingy at all on the chili, also they have any size tea for a $1.00!
