They do a really good job at everything! They have a really wide variety of food, which even includes Cod Fish! Hamburgers are great, cooked to order! Onion rings just okay. But I was really impressed with Cod Fish meal... it came with up to 3 planks (which each were at least twice the size of LJS) and two sides all for a good value! Fresh and tasted great! Ordered at the counter and delivered quickly! Also got the Concrete/ chocolate mixed with Reese's peanut butter cups, which was delicious! Brightly lit, clean and well maintained! Came here yesterday because it was July 4th and my boyfriend and I wanted a good burger, and that's exactly what we got! I ordered the deluxe bacon burger, and it was perfect as is, with all the toppings. I also got a Reese's concrete and it was delicious with a lot of Reese's chunks in it. I have always been a huge Whataburger fan (worked there in 1979-1980). I was 15.then 16. I will not give Culver's a pass to be better than Whataburger. Whataburger once won the best fast food burger restaurant in America. I've read so many burger reviews. Culver's always scored high. In-N-Out scores very high too. I was never close enough to find a Culver's. We are in Arlington, TX. We drove 40 minutes to Flower Mound, TX. We both truly enjoyed it. The Mushroom Swiss Butter burger was amazing. The smashed burger patty was hanging off the not too big bun. The onion rings were not meaty but the breading was perfect for the size. The serving was perfect. We walked in and there were about 3 workers ready to take our order. Helpful counter service offering advice on add ons; first time to try pork loin basket - very large portion and tasty with fries and drinks. our fav cheese curds along with 'healthy side of broccoli ' always my go too side so others can get fried options of choice. Custard of day did not disappoint - always a good choice cookie dough - with fudge sauce a great addition and they let anyone order kid's meal which comes with custard option for a smaller serving although we believe the burger is the same large one - cooked to perfection. Made my way over from Dallas to this Flower Mound location because there was a few other spots i wanted to visit in the area. The Culvers was nice. I used the drive-thru. I came specifically for the burger with a single huge cheese curd after watching a WatchMojo YouTube video about Top 30 Fast Food Items That Should Exist. Apparently this cheese curd thing was a April Fools joke but the people wanted it to become a reality. Luckily I was in luck as just a month ago in September they reintroduced it. After mentioning why I was there for this specific burger the employee at the window let me know I was in luck because they only had 7 left. This huge cheese curd really made for an impressive burger. While I do wish I had ordered an extra patty because of how thin they are it was still a fantastic burger. They offer grilled onions. She sounded like maybe she was having a bad day and she took it out on us which was really uncalled for. We had the most helpful human, Alex; the menu was a bit overwhelming, but he was so patient, and deserves a ton of accolades, as he was cashiering, and hopping inside and out to deliver food. Don't like giving bad reviews. Especially when it comes to regional franchises. I've given this place many different tries. Here is the consistency factor, the orders take forever to get done. I get it, theres a trade off between connivence of fast service and taste from a McDonalds or Burger King. I'm not going to argue that. It's true. But Culvers has the longest wait time for food quality that lower in delivered quality. I've had their dry pot roast, and their burgers. If any of it would have at least met national franchise expectations for a regional franchises expectations that would be great and I'd want them to do expansion. Unfortunately what they serve is the opposite. The overall service quality is worse than going to a gas station. The food quality is worse than getting food from a gas station. You can judge me for this but it doesn't matter. I've given them I think 3 or 4 tries. This isn't a "someone cooking the food is having a bad day". For additional context, off hand I couldn't tell you if price wise if they are competitive. I will say though that I'd run like hell to go to a Whataburger compared to this. read more

A co worker of mine mentioned this place and I decided to give it a try. Definitely one of the best burger place. Surprisingly good for a fast food restaurant. The buttery buns are so soft and smooth. Fries were crispy and well seasoned (not too much salt, just right). It can get pretty busy around lunch hours but the food is definitely worth a try. A friend gave me 2 coupons for a free scoop of ice cream at Culver's. I took my adopted daughter there yesterday around 7pm.....I gave the cashier the 2 coupons and he asked what flavors we wanted. We were told to take a number and our ice cream would be right up. After standing there for about 20 minutes and watching others come in and be served before us, I had to tell my adopted daughter (she was born in El Salvador) that obviously they have no intention of serving us and that Ithought the reason was because the staff on duty is racist. I am African American, a veteran, a Mom, and grandmother. I think it's really sad to have to experience this. Too bad for Culver's, because if we liked the ice cream we would have returned as customers. Wow I did not expect Culver's to be this good. After hearing good things about it from family and friends, I knew I had to give it a try. Thus, when I landed in Texas for a friend's wedding, my opportunity to try Culver's came knocking. Granted, I did keep in mind to review the place knowing that it's technically a fast food restaurant so in order words, comparing it with the likes of McDonald's, In N Out, Popeyes, etc. First, this location in Flower Mound is located off a major road and lights in strip malls and plazas seem to be quite dim in the DFW area. We pulled up around 9 pm at night straight from the DFW airport and there was almost no one else in the restaurant. The staff were probably quite bewildered at why my friends and I were busy taking video of the place and we certainly took quite some time to study the extensive menu before settling on what we wanted to order. We all got some variation of their Butterburger and I personally got the Culver's Deluxe which adds lettuce, tomato, and onion to the Butterburger Cheese. The description states that they start with fresh, never frozen beef - just like In N Out in California claims. The main difference is that here, they do a buttered bun that is apparently lightly toasted while the In N Out bun is actually more intensely toasted. One friend got the fried cheese curds which I also highly recommend you get as one of their signature items. Finally we all got some sort of frozen custard, which Culver's is also famous for. The verdict: Butterburger is amazing - beef is surprisingly juicy and probably the best patty I've had from a fast food place. I definitely would prefer the bun to be more toasted and something the white bun just doesn't work as well as compared to perhaps a brioche. I do recommend that you purchase some of their sauces to try with fries, burger, or cheese curds as they do have a good selection - Culver's Signature Sauce and the Boom Boom Sauce stood out as favorites. The cheese curds were also fantastic as well - think of them as smaller, bite size mozzarella cheese sticks. The small shape of it helps the cheese inside maintain a consistent texture. Get the marinara sauce to dip. Finally, they have various frozen custards but one of the things you can get is a concrete mixer which allows you to mix in 2 toppings - I chose wild cherries and hot fudge. The mini size was perfect end to the meal and absolutely delicious. If you've never had frozen custard before, it's like a creamier version of a soft serve. The restaurant was clean and they bring the food out to you. The guy who took our order and brought the food even stopped by to check on us in the middle of the meal so it almost felt like we were in some sort of sit down restaurant. But, make no mistake this definitely is more Chick Fil A than a Red Robin. If you find yourself near a Culver's it's an absolute must try. I can't wait to go back to one again. read more

I ordered a pot roast sandwich. My husband ordered a burger. We also had fries, pretzel bites, and ice cream. Prices were very reasonable. The sandwich and burger were very good. The buns were extremely soft & fresh. The pretzels were amazing! They were so much better than the popular mall pretzel shops. Unfortunately, the cheese dip for them was milky and needs improvement. The soft serve ice cream was just ok. Other similar restaurants are better for ice cream. The new staff member who took our order was very kind and professional. He told us he was new when we had a question he didn't know the answer to. He was very helpful and sweet. His coworker seemed to hate his job. His coworker snapped at him right in front of us over filling a bin with too many condiments. Perhaps the coworker needs some training in professionalism. I've never been to a Culver's, so decided to see what the hype was about. I personally felt it was a little overpriced. Almost $15 for a Double Butter Burger combo and added cheese curds. Burger was real good and I'd be back for a burger and to try their frozen custard. The cheese curds had cold cheese and the fries were average. Food selection is cool... lots of variety. But this is a really sad franchise - they close the lobby super early and ambiance is really pretty depressing. Things and unkempt, floors are sticky... it's depressing - I can't emphasize that enough. There is clearly lack of effort made to keep things stocked and clean. Don't make modifications to your food order... they won't get it right and they always forget to give you an item. I've been here twice this year. I sent this feedback direct through Culver's when my incident happened on 03-07. I didn't have Yelp back then but now I do because of the bad service I keep receiving since moving here. OG Post New to the town, this is our third time at Culver's. Horrible experience on the third. We order 2 burger meals. BOTH BURGERS COVERED IN SALT. I thought it was a bad bite on my burger, turns out both of ours were disgusting. We call, they say they will remake, we go back...AND THEY GIVE US 2 PLAIN BURGERS EVEN WITH OUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT! Our meal was $30, each time it was severely incorrect, and they don't even have the common courtesy to make it work. I asked if they could keep my name down and I come the next day , "No, our system doesn't work like that." You're a human. Write a sticky note, write on a food bag, stop being inept. I asked if I could get in contact with the owner, "He won't say anything different than me. You have to be in person to receive anything reimbursement or otherwise." I've worked at train businesses and we always make accommodation, especially when you're on record to mess up twice in extreme ways. Huge distaste, will not be buying food from here again. At least if Whataburger messes up it still tastes good. -1000/10 for Culver's. The manager said he would mail us coupons bc they said "no compensation whatsoever" :) we never got the coupons. I thought I had a picture of an open burger but the patty was burnt anyways to truly show the crystal layer of salt/pepper coating the entire thing.
