Not all Sonic Drive-ins are the same, but this one consistently does a great job! Though the Sonic app frustrates me at times, the rewards are generally a really great value! I like the fact that you don't have to build up points, which expire, to get deals here! Highly recommend you get the app if you have not Frankly, I don't think anybody has a better onion ring! The value of their chili cheese, dogs, makes them the best I found most anywhere... additionally, they are very flavorful! I also feel their hamburgers are some of the best, and made to order, which means they're fresh! Using the app, their drinks are always half price, which also makes them a good value. We love all their ice cream products as well, especially their master shakes! The Carhops are always very helpful and friendly, and in the event there is a mistake. They are very quick to make corrections! This location does not have any inside seating, however, finding a Sonic that does is rare! Whatever or whoever is the order taker on the evening shift needs some serious remedial training in basic diction. Nothing more than mumbling comes across the speaker. He also needs a lesson in basic manners: Hello, Please, Thank you, etc. Before he finalizes the order he needs to ask if there is anything else. He never asked this, and while I was just ordering for myself, if I would have had a passenger they would have been out of luck. Since it was Sunday, I wasn't sure if they were open or at what time lunch was served. When the clerk answered the intercom, I had further doubts and actually asked if they were open. At any rate, this was my first time eating at this location and ordered the usual double bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. I stop by this Sonic often; it's super convenient to me and if I'm out and about doing errands during happy hour, what's not to love about half price drinks and snacks? Carhops are always friendly and my order is always right. I love how you can customize your order in the app; they have a high degree of flexibility. My only complaint is that this location hasn't enabled tipping in the app the way some others have. I usually tip if I have a little cash on me but to tip using the app would be awesome. Its soft, pillowy, and has a good little sweetness to it that off sets the fried chicken perfectly! NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO THE CIABATTA KING! Brioche makes a nice close second though! I go here about once a week and have no complaints. They get my order right, every time. Even when it's tricky. Some of the car hops roller skate which is a nice touch. It kind of makes you want to own a Sonic. How fun would that be? The car hops never get annoyed when they have to back inside to get me a ranch or a salsa packet. This particular location is very philanthropic and always has the various schools out doing fund raisers here. I stopped by on my way from the doctor to pick up some breaky. The food was almost cold and the tots were luke warm at best. I realize it's sonic and I shouldn't have high expectations, but there are so many locations that strive to provide fresh food that this place was a let down. Otherwise, the service was quick, again because it was pre-made. Also, the girls on the inside working were obviously bored as one went back and forth from balancing a straw on her nose to what appeared to be crawling on the floor doing planks or something. Beverages are so good, they taste as though they are from God's personal pond. They have the carbonation down to a science. I'm not certain NASA doesn't set their regulator. (Or God, as I said). Employees are too attractive. It is a problem. We stop here 2-4 times per day. I think we spend $60-$70 per month per person on fountain drinks alone. Food is also crazy good. You can order weird things like pickles on your grilled cheese and they will behave as though that is a perfectly normal request. Kim should not be in the service industry. She is rude and slightly aggressive. I don't always have cash on me for a tip, but I tip extra when I do have cash to try and even that out. I have tipped her and she was relatively nice. Today was an occasion that I did not have cash on me. She was rude after I did not tip, glared at me, and openly told someone that I didn't tip, while she was still in front of my car. She shook her hands and walked away shaking her head after her statement. This is probably the fourth time she has behaved like this. Review here because it's the nicest, cleanest, best service Sonic I currently know of. Been that way for years. Can get pretty packed during meal times, and during the happy hour drink special time. This location is close to a work area, so I go to this one on occasion. Food has always been good, no problems there. Comes out pretty quick, and the carhops are always pretty well on the ball. They have a nice outside sitting/walk up area, where you can order and eat outside, or walk up and get something to go. Never have a problem going here to grab something quick. read more

My son went to sonic about 2 months ago to get our Saturday morning breakfast, his mom asked for a grilled cheese sandwich and mozzarella sticks, he brings our food back and much to our surprise her grilled cheese had five Mozzarella sticks in it as well as the American cheese. I love the breakfast burritos that the sonic in Denton on hwy 380 near Malone street makes, they are always perfect and made the same way evert time I go there, but not the grapevine location, they are always slopped together, always a different size, be it long and narrow with very little ingredients or short and stubby looking like a kids mini burrito, very disappointing to say the least, especially when you're spoiled by the Denton location that I've eaten at a zillion times because I'll stop there on my way to work. So today we decided to give the grapevine location another try, BIG MISTAKE! NO, A HUGE MISTAKE! The same guy that took our order the last time took it again today! We gave him the order, one #15 with an ultimate burrito, tots and a rt 44 purple O, then another #15 with a steak, egg and cheese burrito and a RT 44 dr pepper. We get the food and head home, we set the table to eat, pulled out on ultimate burrito for my son and I reach in for my Steak burrito only to pull out another ultimate burrito!! This is crazy!! I called and talked to Scott who was nice enough to listen to me complain about the mozzarella grilled cheese from our last and the problem with today's visit.
