Marty B's, you have it all. Our last stop while in Bartonville was the quaint looking ice cream parlor sitting pretty on the corner of 407. We had never visited the town before and just finished lunch and coffee with friends visiting when we decided to treat our kiddos to some ice cream. Dallas weather just started heating up again so it was perfect. I'm kicking myself for not taking photos but their menu is out of this world. They offer flavors like blueberry crumble (100% trying next time), espresso chip, and more. I ordered the caramel pretzel - vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered pretzels, caramel, and chocolate chunks. Oh my word. It was one of the best ice creams I've ever had. Loved that it came in a cup with 2 large pieces of waffle cone pressed to the side. Our girls loved their rainbow sherbet and vanilla with sprinkles! Go give them a try!! read more

I asked the kid what is the most natural ice cream and he told me the banana and I took a taste and it was definitely banana fake flavored so just make sure what you're eating and getting but it's really good. The best ice cream I've had in awhile! the ice cream tasted deliciously fresh. They had cute menus to look at while you waited to help the line move FAST. The shop decor is beyond cute, I could take that TX sign home and now thinking about a green velvet couch everything is super clean and customer service is a 11/10! We were greeted, served quick and nice and thanked on our way out. Definitely a must after you go to Marty B's! My husband and I have gone here a couple of times. There has always been a crowd so I imagine the shop is doing great financially. The ice cream is fantastic! A+++ for the ice creams we have tried!! The employees working the line have ALWAYS been kind and patient. They have been so helpful when we have questions so an A+++ for them!! Now the more frustrating pieces. Sometimes there is someone floating around saying hi and checking in with individual tables and sometimes they will completely ignore you so that can be irritating. The line for ice cream moves very quickly. I'm a person that needs to understand all of my options, and the line towards the register stands in front of all of the ice cream flavors displayed in the case. That means, too, that others cannot see the actual ice cream. We have had to place our order at the beginning of the ice cream cases - after being unable to see the options. The menu on the wall also includes some items by "clever" names but there is no description included. I am giving 4 stars because the good truly does override the less good. read more

Greeted on walking in-busy for sure!! Really tasty with a lot of options. They do have pistachio, so if you have a nut allergy, be very cautious!! They can sanitize the scooper, but there is definite cross contamination in the buckets. Also- if you do have an allergy- I would be weary on the pints as you don't know!! Marty B's, the classic American success story. This review is for the ice cream location. There's usually a line, but that's a good sign. I would be worried if there wasn't. It's a great place to hit after you do a meal at Marti's. The coffee shop is also worth mentioning as well. Just catty corner in the parking lot. Both are tremendous. The nice thing about the ice cream places they've got a lot of options and a couple of menu items that you can't find anywhere else. A big piece of Texas sheet cake with two scoops of ice cream of your choice. The service is fast and efficient; there's always 10+ people working, so if there is a line you get in and out quickly and efficiently. I'm so glad this place finally opened!! You can never go wrong with any Marty B's dining experience. It's right next door to the coffee shop. The atmosphere here was so inviting- it was full, and at one point everyone started clapping and cheering (I still don't know why, I thought maybe it was someone's birthday). They hand you a menu when you walk in for you to look at while waiting in line and there are so many flavors to choose from. I got the German chocolate and it was perfection. They had hired a bunch of kids to scoop ice cream, which I assume was because of summer break...and I think that's awesome! They did a great job, were attentive and courteous. The indoor seating was nice and presented well. The outdoor seating left a lot to be desired, I expect more from a Marty B's establishment when it comes to the seating and layout.
