That kogi truck was so damn delicious and i could eat it for days. we ended up getting two burgers along with a side of onion rings. California Sunrise burger and the bonsai burger. I was a bit disappointed in the california sunrise burger, since the egg was hard and wasn't runny. The bonsai burger was pretty good. Two burgers and the side of onion rings cost ~$26 bucks. When we went, it was really empty. plenty of seating and they also have a very small area for arcade games. They have a TV in the middle of the shop, playing aerial views of random cities from across the world. read more

My revisit to LA burger I ordered the TOMMY! It gave me that home feeling of California as took my first bite. It's not the OG Tommy burger, but sure is delicious. That chili sure is packed with flavor and hint of spice. The buns are nicely toasted and burger cooked to perfection. As far as the onion rings go crispy and so delicious. I went with the California Sunrise Burger with the egg on it and it was not executed properly leaving me with a hard fried egg and not a runny egg, which is the purpose of adding the egg. My son had nuggets and fries, which you can't get wrong. I used the restroom while there and there was a strong ring smell, however, it was clean. Everything was fresh and hot when delivered to my table. An acceptable wait time (pretty quick), clean seating, and a cute game area for kids makes its ideal for a casual day in the area. Decided to celebrate a birthday this evening and searched Yelp for burgers. I was impressed with the rating and reviews so we went for it. The food that was ordered: 2 OG burgers, one with shoestring fries & the other with curly fries. And a Ktown burger with a fried egg and grilled onions with onions rings. All the burgers were great but the KTOWN!!!! Oh my gosh it was the perfect burger. Super juicy and flavorful. The bun itself was so good! And the onion rings were delicious! Just how I like my onion rings, perfectly battered. Also loved the soda selection. I got the vanilla cream soda and it was very good! The atmosphere is very casual and cute. And the service was great. There weren't many people dining in but plenty of take out orders and understandable for a Wednesday night. Came back a second time! Food is still amazing as always. This time I got the Rice bowl with spicy pork and my boyfriend got the K town burger. Looks like their picking up a bit a business now which makes me happy. We also got their shakes this time. At $7 dollars a pop they're more than worth the money. My boyfriend got the strawberry short cake and I got the banana pudding. We originally planned to dine next door, but it was packed for an early Sunday dinner, so we decided to try this burger joint instead. Located in a strip mall, it wasn't busy at all when we arrived. They had a couple of old arcade games and a foosball table, which was a nice touch. We quickly ordered various burgers and sides. While nothing stood out as particularly special, I did notice their prices were on the higher end, so I had high expectations. The kids had grilled cheese and cheeseburgers, and the adults ordered different specialty burgers. My burger was decent, freshly made, and the patty was juicy, though the size was medium at best. The tots, however, were disappointing. For $4, I got about 15 small tots, which seemed overpriced at more than a quarter per tot. LA burger was just fine. Some things I appreciated was the food came out hot and fresh, the employees were kind, and the quality of ingredient seemed pretty good. The reasons LA Burger isn't more highly rated for me is the food was overcooked, patty was dry, and the burgers lacked flavor. I tried the holy smokes burger, the onions rings were perfect, and the burger came out hot, but I had to get more bbq sauce and burger was still lacking seasoning and flavor. I also tried the west coast, which had some of the same issues and was overloaded with mustard. The tater tots were fine as well but on the verge of being overcooked. Overall the food was alright, but it compares with fast food burgers at this point. Also, the restaurant seemed decently clean, but tables hadn't been cleaned in a while. read more

LA Burger is one of my favorite burger places but I met a friend there the other day and just didn't feel like eating a burger when I got there so I got their rice bowl. I am actually not 100% sure what they called it but I think 'Rice bowl'. It had rice, lettuce, a fried egg, some good sauce and I got chicken. Overall, it was really good. I am not saying I won't get their Cali burger next time I go, but the rice bowl was a good option that I didn't really realize they had or at least I had never had and it was really good. Welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. We went around 11am so there were no other patrons. The prices were reasonable but there was an issue with my vegan friends food. He ordered a Namaste burger and the patty was made with cheese. Vegans don't eat cheese and if he hadn't checked it out, he'd be sick on his 5 hour flight scheduled an hour later. The staff was apologetic and made a salad to replace the food. Unfortunately, he found a hair in his curly fries that he decided not to mention. I was in the mood of a burger and recalled seeing the signage the other day when I was nearby. I have come across many Korean-Mexican fusion venues selling tacos. This is the first time I seen a Korean-inspired hamburger shop. I chose the hamburger listed top of the menu, the K-Town burger. Unlike the online menu, the on-site menu does not recommend the American cheese and egg; it only states their additional charge. My initial impression was that it was small for the price that I paid. It must be due to quality of ingredients and not quantity. Overall, I did enjoy the taste of the hamburger. The bulgogi glaze on the patty gave it a nice sweetness. I doubt I am immune to sriracha, but I did not get any hint of heat other than the temperature. Even the bun was very warm to the touch. I am not fond of messy burgers and the K-Town was definitely messy. From my first bite, the kimchi started falling off. Because of the juices, I was concerned the bun would fall apart. Not only was it one of the best things of the burger, it kept its shape. Even after the last ingredient fell off, I still wanted to finish off the empty bun. I was not kidding about quality over quantity. Not even an hour has passed when my hunger returned. While the employees are very friendly, this location must have been understaffed because the men's room was not regularly maintained. My dining partner had the K Burger with kimchi which I didn't think was as good as my Cali Sunshine Burger. The K Burger seemed overly saucy for my taste. For those traveling there's a decent gas station nearby if you're lookin' to fill 'er up before heading back on the road. There was some room for improvement, for sure, with the staff hospitality and bathroom presentation. At the end of our meal, I used the restroom and I recommended my dining partner might want to use the bathroom at the gas station we were going to next because, really, it had to be in better shape. There wasn't any paper products (for any kind of use) and the floors were a mess. It wasn't that the place was slammed, so I'm not really sure what the barrier was to a better bathroom situation, then again, perhaps it was whatever was so engaging on the staff member's smartphone. Not sure what this place is trying to be. Korean? Burgers? Tacos? Hot dogs? The menu is all over the place, and not in a good way. The burger scene is VERY crowded in NE Tarrant County, so LA Burger needs to step up their game. There a relates of good choices - from basic to iconic and everything in-between. What a fantastic place for mind altering burger! I stopped by today for a late lunch, craving a burger. I just didn't know what burger I wanted. I stated it was my first time and what burger had what. They all sounded so good. I settled on the original K-Town burger and I'm glad I did. I also purchased onion rings "K" style, which was a conglomeration of messy perfection. The burger was massive and messy but dang! Was it good! The bun was so soft, the meat cooked right with a healthy portion of kimchi, which was amazing. As for the onion rings, WOW! The cheese, the meat, the onions, the jalapeños, the sauce, oh and the onion rings were to die for. You just have to eat them fast, if not they get soggy, but still delicious. On top of all the delicious food they also have some good non corporate soda. Oh and they have a bar with some local SFW brews. Overall I can say that I had a wonderful experience here and I can't wait to come back! read more

He said the burger meat was a bit thin and the buns were thin, but he said delicious! (He just wished there was sauce on it). The flavor was all there though! The k-style ... it was so good! Teriyaki Bulgogi, kimchi, spicy mayo, onions and everything on top of the taters... MUST TRY!! You can get k-style on any side... they have lots of sides to choose from (sweet potato fries, curly fries, string fries, taters, and onion rings)!! Onion rings were super crispy and not oily! Not sure what happened here!! Gave it a couple chances before updating my reviews, and it's not for the better. fyi: there's a 4% upcharge if you pay with credit card. There's been some changes in the k town burger... it was drenched in bbq sauce. The bun is different. Tatortots always too burnt. Really annoyed how they handled making my tacos wrong today. Asked for no raw onions. It came out to me with raw onions. I asked them nicely to correct it and all they did was take it back and scrape off the raw onions , drenched the tacos with more spicy mayo in hopes I wouldn't notice any left over raw onions. Not. Cool. Restrooms are always dirty. Hand soap looks unsanitary. It's never busy.... so why is the restroom always trashed. And its still super hot inside. read more

The West Coast burger is awesome! I love it. They also have great milkshakes. My only gripe with them is they are not open on Sundays, but hey, Chick-fil-a isn't open on Sundays and I still love them. Their burgers themselves are as good as anywhere and then they have lots of pretty unique different ones with various toppings. Depending on my mood, I have tried a decent number of them and liked them all even though they are very different...from one with kimchi to one with guac and spicty nachos. My Girlfriend and I came here on a rainy Friday night before seeing The Grudge at Tinseltown. When we first walked in, we were blasted with the smell of cleaning products and detergent. This took away a bit from our appetite, but gradually we became accustomed to the smell. The interior of this LA burger is casual, and there are a good amount of booths situated close to the window. They also have some cool arcade games and a foosball table to use while you're waiting on your food. We ended up ordering a Cali Sunshine with a side of curly fries. The Cali Sunshine was cooked to an excellent medium, and the patty was very juicy. The burger was a great value because it came with a thick patty, a good amount of bacon, and a sunny side up egg! Unfortunately, the Cali Sunshine burger was on the saltier side, which was most likely due to the bacon. In regards to the curly fries, they are worth the extra price for the upgrade over the thin cut fries because they are seasoned perfectly and very crispy! Overall, aside from the cleaning products smell, we had a great experience at LA burger. The service here is friendly and personable too. I've been wanting to try this burger spot for a while now, I've been there to pick up GrubHub orders several times and thought it looked pretty good. We were originally headed to a different joint, but the other place was just stupid busy, so we decided to finally try LA Burger. One word: YUM! Hubby got the western burger with bacon, cheese, and steak sauce and I got the WestCoast but with a turkey patty instead of beef. OMG, just so good! Juicy meat, grilled to perfection, with oozing melty cheese and soft, spicy grilled jalapenos and onions. Absolutely will be back to get me another of those delicious concoctions! Hubby loved his burger as well, he darn near inhaled the thing, lol. We also shared an order of sweet potato fries, which were perfectly crispy and soft on the inside.
