Tried a couple of their beers: Miso Smooth (Japanese rice lager - 5.5% ABV) and Soul Fire Ultra Light (American Light Lager - 3.7 ABV / 15 IBU). Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! There was also a cupcake place (Kid Kakes) that seems to get great reviews, but with Oak St Pie Company just a few doors down... well... sorry Kid Kakes! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years.
