My husband and I were walking around the downtown area and decided to come in for a bite to eat at the food court. The food court itself was pretty dead but the inside of the brewery was busy. We sat outside on the patio. There is ample amounts of seating and there were a few other groups who were sitting out there with us as well. We decided to order some chips and queso as well as a pizza. Both were pretty good and we like it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and hope to return in the future.

On our recent trip from Ohio to Fort Worth to visit family, I discovered Soul Fire Brewing while searching for breweries to visit. And this brewery did not disappoint. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman, and he went through the menu with us and asked our tastes and recommended the Roanoke IPA. We decided to try that . It was a great tasting IPA light on the hoppy tasting side, which was perfect for my wife. John introduced himself to us after he served the beer, and it turned out that he is actually one of the owners. We met one of the regulars and the overall atmosphere was exceptional. You enter through a huge patio filled with plenty of seating into a nice size bar area with plenty of seating as well. We would highly recommend trying this estaishment and we for sure will be back.

We stumbled upon this local bar after eating dinner one night in DT Roanoke. We heard so many good reviews about this place so we had to try it. Apparently tonight was trivia night. We ordered a cider, a cocktail, and a Peanut butter whiskey. All drinks were delicious. The cocktail was refreshing as well. The atmosphere was pretty chill and low key. The only thing bad was that the food hall next to it was closed. Aw shucks. Maybe next time. If you want some chill vibes, come here. They also have outdoor seating so you can people watch and listen to live music. Chiao!

We popped in to watch the game Saturday and was pleased with the seating and tv options. This is the anchor for the food court that is to your right. You can bring any item in from the area and then sit on their big covered patio or find a spot in the open air. We saw quite a few people with puppies. Major plus for us as dog lovers. They make their own brand of beer but also have some popular options to choose from. The place was getting pretty busy by the time we left and with multiple food options nearby it was a great place to bring friends with different tastes.

We have been SO excited to try this place, and boy it did NOT disappoint! Between the beer, food, and service, it's awesome!! It's basically a brewery with a food court. It's SO much fun!!!! I love food and my husband loves beer, so it was a perfect combo for us both! I also loved how family friendly it was. We went with our two young daughters and they had a blast! While we had a beer, they got to enjoy ice cream from one of the MANY places inside you can eat! Our waitress was the bomb!!! So nice and so sweet! She honestly really seemed to enjoy her job! If you're looking for something for everyone's your family, this is absolutely the place to go!!

Decided on a flight of three of their beers. The The Flavus Maximus Blonde had a nice blend of bitterness and crispness to it. The Hefe on the Wall Hefewizian was smooth with citrus notes. My favorite may have been the Raspberry Blonde which was light and had a slightly tartness to it. This place is conveniently located within a food court with multiple restaurants so grab some food and order a beer and enjoy. Plenty of inside and outside covered seating.

Excellent little brewery in what's basically a little food court. The hazy IPA, the stout and the Vienna lager were excellent versions of their beer types. Worth a trip across DFW.

This is a VERY well designed brewery. You have the tap area to get beers and they have an attached food court with burgers, sandwiches, ice cream stores etc. That alone makes it a very family friendly venue not to mention it is all located inside with air conditioning, a requirement if you live in Texas. The beer selection was also high quality as well and very reasonably priced! The flexibility of this place could go from a family outing like we did or a nice date night out as well! 10 of 10 would recommend.

I usually run away from loud musicians but these two are exceptional.

My friend did all like what they ordered and their food looked good too. I also had a couple beers that were both good but I was disappointed to see that they didn't have any stouts or porters on draft this time if year. They probably had 25 (complete guess off of memory) beers on tap with a few of them being seltzers. They have really good IPA's, PHENOMENAL dessert stouts, and fun beers of other styles. Martin House was so good, I went back for a second flight plus bought a bunch of canned beers to take home. They had a Smores Stout (delicious), Texas Sheet Cake Stout (equally delicious), a Pumpkin Cheesecake Stout (not for me but interesting), and a King of the Mountain Porter (chocolately). I have never had 4 porters/stouts in the same sitting, but MH makes such good ones that I had to. Their IPA's were solid with the Invaders being my favorite. The Wicked Wolf blonde Ale made with peanut butter, and I think marshmallow fluff was probably my favorite beer amongst the 8 I tried. Phenomenally good. The craziest beer I tried was the Best Maid Mustard Relish. It's exactly what you think it would be but not as bad. They should make it in shot form though because anything more is too much. The only thing lacking was food. I assume they have food trucks from time to time but not while I was there. No matter their beer makes up for it so just eat before you come.

The double-story building is a large, open Texas beer hall that blends modern and traditional saloon styles with an intentionally eclectic, whimsical vibe reminiscent of a theme park. For instance, the bathroom doors look like jail cells with hands on the bars, while the pristine stalls feature portraits of Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash. I used the Willie Nelson and was "on the commode again". The centerpiece is a huge, three-sided bar adorned with neon signs, vintage Western memorabilia, industrial brewing equipment, and a massive wall of taps. It serves both classics and ready-to-serve frozen drinks, which you can enjoy in the pet-friendly beer garden backyard party. Order you "two pina coladas and hope they fill 'em to the brim if your world is kind of rocky and you need to learn to swim." (That was Garth Brooks or Maya Angelou). The casual, amphitheater-like patio faces an outdoor stage built into the bed of a vintage truck. The live music (even 12:30pm on a Thursday) is loud enough to be festive but managed so you don't have to scream to be heard. The entire area is covered by a massive glass and steel retractable roof, ensuring comfort in any weather, in case you don't "love a rainy night nor think it's such a beautiful sight, and hate to feel the rain on your face, taste the rain on your lips in the moonlight shadows." (That was Eddie Rabbit or SunTzu). The seating options are excellent and varied. Groups can share high-tops around a gas fire or a lit tree, or even sit in kitschy sawed-off pickup truck beds with bench seating. You can also find lounge chairs near the outdoor fireplace, huge swinging benches, and plenty of folding beach chairs on the astroturf. For dining, you can order affordable bar food from a window and receive a pager, so there is no need to "might as well lay down and nap 'cause you've spent half your life just waiting on a nacho." (That was Brad Paisley or Abraham Lincoln).

We ordered the Boss Hog flatbread, chips and queso, and two margaritas the Skinny Bear on the rocks and the Caddy frozen margarita. We definitely enjoyed the happy hour discounts, which made the visit even better. We started with our drinks, and both margaritas were mixed very well. The Skinny Bear did seem a little stronger, but both had great flavor and were easy to enjoy. For appetizers, we ordered the chips and queso. The chips were thin, crispy, and had a nice dash of seasoning on them, but we do wish they had been served hot. The queso was warm, but not piping hot, and the texture was a little gritty, almost powder-like. We were expecting a creamier cheese, so it was good, but not our favorite part of the meal. Now, the star of the show was definitely the Boss Hog flatbread. It was cooked to perfection, baked really well, and had that nice crispy texture. The toppings were generous, and every bite had great flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The ambiance was also amazing. We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back to try more menu items, and I recommend Union Bear for a cute date night, happy hour, or a laid back evening with good drinks and food.
