Great beer selection! I'm an IPA gal and they had plenty delicious ones to offer Turning Point. Since it was my first time here I opted to do a flight of 6 beers to try out the many options. This place is huge and I enjoyed that they were playing old school hiphop and rap music. We were hungry when we arrived so we opted for a pizza which they do Detroit style and was enough for more than one person. The service was great and the guys behind the bar were chill and down to earth. The beers were very tasty so we wound up with two four packs to go home with. I stopped by for the Yelp book club. The flight of beers I had was exceptionally tasty. They put the beers in s cute muffin tray with the corresponding numbers written underneath each cup. We came here with some friends who told us about this place. Not much to look at from the outside but once you step in, it's actually clean and open. It's a very bright room and it's pretty big. I guess some people come and drink and bring their own card games and stuff just to hang out. It was cool. We don't drink beer that often so this place was a little foreign to us but we went ahead and chose whatever sounded good to us. I wish I would have taken a picture of the drinks we chose because I don't remember what they're called. But, we did choose one that tasted like grape, another that tasted like coffee, and some other unique ones. I would say we enjoyed drinking at least 2 or 3 of them. Some of them were weird but overall, I enjoyed this place and their drinks. I would definitely come again to just hang out and drink. I gladly give it my recommendation. read more

Spacious brewery with good selection of beer. Turning point brewery is located in a large plaza with huge indoor space. My friends and I came right at opening so it wasn't crowded at all. My review for the Elite Event. So I got this Elite invite for this brewery from Kendall S., the Fort Worth Community Manager and there was no way I was going to pass this one up. I usually get these invites from my Dallas Community Manager since I live in Dallas County, but what the heck, why not? So I took a late lunch and headed over to Turning Point Beer for my sample beer and let me tell you it was worth the drive. I got checked in and they guy at the bar was really nice and welcoming. I asked for recommendations and he hit it on head with his recommendation. I want to say it was the Saucy Nugz, but I could be wrong. It was an IPA for sure and it had a citrus note to it and it was smooth as heck. Some IPA's can be bitter, but this one tasted like orange juice, LOL!, jk! But honestly, it was so smooth, it didn't even feel like you were drinking an IPA until you got up from the table, LOL!! I will agree this one is kinda hard to find, but that's why we call it a hidden gem! It's tucked away but well worth it! Full of IPA's, several really decent Sour's, and even "Sports Beer" and " Smoothie" beer... both of which were way better than I initially expected. came here on a Tuesday night for trivia night which was really chill and fun. You get a packet of paper and there were lots of people that came with friends and groups to play. You can win prizes like free beer and gift cards to turning point. The whole trivia night lasted about 1.5 hours and starts at 7pm. There were lots of seating at tables, booths and at the bar. They have a great list of beers that you can get along with beers to purchase to bring home. I got the pink melons beer which was fruity and light, exactly what I needed for a Tuesday night! Turning Point has developed a local reputation for creative, high quality and somewhat pricey brews. Since opening just a few years ago, it had already outgrown its original tasting room, which now hosts private events, and moved into a larger space next door with high ceilings and plenty of elbow room for you and your friends. Having said that, there's no air of pretension here - this converted 1960s strip mall with concrete floors and crumbling parking lot still retains a blue-collar, post-industrial vibe. You'll find plenty of draft beer choices on the board above the bar - enjoy in house, and/or take a crowler to go. Specialty beer is also available by the bottle, but can't be consumed on premises. Examples include the unfortunately-named Calibrate the Virus (our server told me this name was hatched pre-pandemic) - a Flanders plum sour aged in cabernet sauvignon wine barrels. Cooking of Brutality, an ass-kicking 15.3% ABV imperial stout, is said to be inspired by a 7-layer dessert bar. Have at least 20 visits to Turning Point, and in the last... four or so visits we've been seeing a trend. Their IPA's all taste like variants of the same grapefruit flavor. And the stouts all have a prune juice base. It makes sense as it's become a hipster hangout. Add to that, they're still not dog friendly. We've decided after today to spend more time and money at False Idol and Brutal. On top of the afore mentioned issues. For starters, I have never been to a brewery before -- bars in New Orleans, yes, but a brewery? Never. I thought it wasn't my type of scene, but to my surprise, I like it... a lot, to the point that I would just drive to spend the day here. It's definitely an A+ in my books! We visited through a Yelp event, but what made us enjoy the stay was the customer service, the drinks, and the facility. The customer service was quite superb. There were several recommendations, and even as a newcomer, I felt welcomed. The drinks were brewed there, and both drinks we had tasted great! We ordered a Wildish Gambino and Death to Smoothie (Passionfruit, Pineapple, Banana). The Wildish Gambino tastes like a light, sour beer with a light, red wine -- it wasn't too sweet or sour. The Death to Smoothie had a good, refreshing taste to it -- the distinct flavor that stood out was the passionfruit. It took some time getting used to, but once you get used to it, you'll be addicted. The best way to describe the Death to Smoothie is that it's a thick-textured drink with a little bit of bitterness and a little bit of sourness to the sweetness of it all. They were both equally delicious. The facility was enormous. I haven't seen the other side of the facility yet, but from what I have seen in the one room that I was in, it was huge and provided the right vibe to the experience. There were enough seating for everyone, and there were a good amount of distance between the tables. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and Turning Point Beer also offer outside seating. Overall, I am really glad that I was able to attend this Yelp Event. I didn't know there was a brewery in Bedford, even though I stayed not too far from it a few years back. If I knew there was such as place, I would have come here and studied -- oh, I forgot to mention, there were people working and studying here, at a brewery. Can you believe it? It sounds like the PERFECT place. The music and noise were kept to a minimum -- for a comparison to another study spot, Starbucks is louder than Turning Point Beer. Turning Point Beer is a great place to study, have several drinks, hang out with friends, or play board games. My husband and I stopped by after having lunch near the area on a weekday. You walk in and it is so open with plenty of seating. Plenty of beer selections and the bartender was excellent as guiding us on our flight selection. She asked us all the right questions so we would try beers that we would like. Wanted to check out some of the local breweries in the area the day after our 10th Annual Sheldon Pierre Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. The great guys at Turning Point donated beer, brewery tours and tastings, and even brought a team to play at the event for a 2nd year in a row. So the least we could do to repay their kindness was to come have some drinks with them, and support them a little. We had been here last year, but this is a completely new and renovated space. Larger brewing area, and a separate but the same adjacent area for the different incredible food providers they have. Smoke and Bone BBQ were there when we went, and the food was spectacular. They have a wide open seating area and what looked like a little indoor games area as well. There's a wide range of beer styles to choose from. I went with the Endgame, a smooth, strong imperial stout. Loved the thickness, flavor and how incredibly smooth it was. We had a couple rounds of drinks, and ate some great BBQ and were on our way again. I'm always coming by to visit when I'm in the area. You should too. I am no beer drinker and can not give my opinion on that. However, I met friends here one night and after a lovely chat with the man behind the counter, I tried a pineapple dragon fruit cider. I am not an experienced cider drinker, but I enjoyed it. What I can say, is this place is cool! It is on the corner of a little strip, set back off of Brown and Bedford. The outside is a bit shabby looking, but inside is clean and up to date. They have big wooden picnic tables which encourage people to chat up a stranger. If that intimidates you, they have single tables set up on the side. The bar is straight ahead and they have a revolving menu. The folks working there are incredibly friendly and have no problems taking the time to talk about their product. Allow me to introduce you to my latest discovery and favorite local brewery for Barrel Aged Stouts. Turning Point may not have the largest or coolest tap room in the metroplex. But, it stands up to most. The point at Turning Point is the beer. I'm a sucker for a sweet and boozy stout. Most breweries have one, or maybe two. My first visit to Turning Point they had five on the tap list. My main problem was stopping before I was unable to drive safely, just because I wanted to try them all! The Soft Glow of Electric Sex, Ho Ho Ho I Have a Machine Gun, and Release the Caramel are my favorites of those I tried. Just very good, with subtleties to the flavors that made each unique. The bartender was very informative and conveyed passion about Turning Point's creations. My only nit about the environment was a bleachy smell when we first arrived. Pretty soon I didn't notice it anymore. Wouldn't keep me from the beer. Love it and will definitely repeat a lot! read more

Very large place. Was greated when we came in and we ordered our beers. Beers were ok. The nasty part was the bathrooms. Without getting into detail, my wife stated the ladies room was very dirty and the "feminine products" hadn't been emptied so the smell was atrocious. Men's room wasn't much better.
