Great beer selection! I'm an IPA gal and they had plenty delicious ones to offer Turning Point. Since it was my first time here I opted to do a flight of 6 beers to try out the many options. This place is huge and I enjoyed that they were playing old school hiphop and rap music. We were hungry when we arrived so we opted for a pizza which they do Detroit style and was enough for more than one person. The service was great and the guys behind the bar were chill and down to earth. The beers were very tasty so we wound up with two four packs to go home with. This is a bit of a drive for me but I will be back for sure!

Massive taproom, with a fairly good selection of brews on tap. Very IPA weighted tap list. Enjoyed my red ale, friendly servers. Some barbecue offerings from a food truck were available ($15-$25). You can grab a can or two of most of their beers to go.

You have got to check out this Humdinger of a Brewery. The beer selection is huge-n-fabulous, and the staff is great. They have great food trucks as well as their own pizza. Check out the event calendar @ https://www.turningpointbeer.com/events You will not be disappointed, don't miss this place!

Turning point is a great stop here in the Bedford area. They have a large seating area for folks to be able to hang out with their friends, and a large selection of drinks to pick from. They offer popcorn from another local Bedford business, and have more recently started offering pizzas. Not sure if you can still bring outside food like in the past ... but they usually also have a food truck so I don't see why not. Staff has always been helpful; and they have a number of special events throughout the year.

I really love this establishment! I feel any event can be hosted here after seeing the car show. I had to grab a few bags of popcorn for the road. The popcorn is so flavorful and fresh. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy and warm.

I stopped by for the Yelp book club. The flight of beers I had was exceptionally tasty. They put the beers in s cute muffin tray with the corresponding numbers written underneath each cup. The bartenders were accommodating to our large group. The space inside is huge with lots of seating all around. I love this spot for events. Highly recommended for both the drink options and venue.

Really awesome local brewery that has a fantastic selection of beers brewed on premise, what more could you ask for?!? The bartender service is great. If you have questions about their brew they got all of the answers and then some. Now the question of atmosphere might come up about the brewery. Can you bring your dog inside? Sadly no, it's a brewery. Fido can hang outside. Are their candles and cloth tablecloths? Nope you got wooden tables or barrels.to put your drinks on. This is a nice brewery, but not the tablecloth type. Now they do have a ton of fun board games, very comfortable chairs and a bar. Which to me is paradise. So come on by and grab a brew, it's worth it!

These folks know how to brew delicious beer and they know how to have a good time. TPB is a large, open space and they use it well. They frequently have markets and various other celebrations. I appreciate that you can sit st the bar and get service. Otherwise, there is a dedicated line for beer. No jockeying for position to order. They will often have food trucks and they have pizzas, sort of Detroit style. Great place!

Very large number of beers but only a 3 were not IPA (minus 1 star) I had the True American Lager and it was perfect. Very spacious tap room with plenty of seating. Trivia on Tuesday nights.

We came here with some friends who told us about this place. Not much to look at from the outside but once you step in, it's actually clean and open. It's a very bright room and it's pretty big. I guess some people come and drink and bring their own card games and stuff just to hang out. It was cool. We don't drink beer that often so this place was a little foreign to us but we went ahead and chose whatever sounded good to us. I wish I would have taken a picture of the drinks we chose because I don't remember what they're called. But, we did choose one that tasted like grape, another that tasted like coffee, and some other unique ones. I would say we enjoyed drinking at least 2 or 3 of them. Some of them were weird but overall, I enjoyed this place and their drinks. I would definitely come again to just hang out and drink. I gladly give it my recommendation.

Turning Point has a great brewery atmosphere. Industrial fermentation tanks, barrels, and tables. Relaxed, casual, craft beer vibe. There is a car show/event on at the moment that fun to look at. My only complaint is little to no food at the bar. However there are local eats around.

Came for the Girl Scout cookie pairing and stayed for a stout and pizza. Nice open space. Came in and there was a long line, but it moved fast. Big beer selection. Maybe a few too many IPAs for me. Beer pairing was fun. Tried the cheese pizza and loved it!

Ask the Community - Turning Point Beer

    Is there food available?

You can order pizza and then they have food trucks or Godspeed BBQ in some nights.

Are they still having taco trucks on Tuesday? And selling beer to eat with said tacos, there not to go?

Their assortment is solid and thoughtfully curated, with something for every kind of beer drinker. As someone who gravitates toward pale ales, I really appreciate how well they handle that style. The pale ales are consistently flavorful, balanced, and refreshing--exactly what I look for when I'm sipping on a craft brew. You can tell they put care into their recipes and aren't just phoning it in. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to relax with a quality brew, False Idol Brewing is definitely worth the stop.

They have many IPA and sour offerings too, and their options change weekly/frequently. Every Friday they release new beers and will send you a text if you sign-up. The taproom isn't anything amazing, but who cares, you're there to have a couple beers, chat with friends or the bartenders, and then go on your way. They do have a nice patio area and host various events with food trucks being common in the parking lot, so there's something for everyone. For any stout fans, don't skip this place. Their base has improved over time, going from a heavy coffee flavor to now more of a balanced, boozy (barrel aged) flavor with numerous adjunct additives. Pricing for their special brews is usually around $20 per can. I think its fair, some may see that as a little steep.

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.
