Good beer. Working windows. Soft music. Informative bartender. Yes. They don't sell the same beer twice which makes it interesting. Will definitely be coming back!

New craft beer bar inside with "state of the art negative pressure" (or something cool) growler fills.

They probably should have a separate listing now that they added the beer bar and growler refill. But, what the hell, here we go. Over the years I've used them for kegs occasionally. They were especially helpful because this is probably the closest place to get Co2 takes filled. Also, when I had a problem with the seal of the fittings when I went to reconnect a tank, they provided me with the silicon washer that fixed the problem at no charge. Pretty happy on this side of the business. Couple weeks ago they finished adding and remodeling the front part of the building, turning it into a high end growler refill station and craft beer bar. They have thirty beers on tap, most of them stuff I've never heard of, but there's always a couple things I see I want to try. The growler fills are some kind of special pressure fill system. Never really got the full details. They do have different types of growler containers for sale. Watched them fill some up, pretty interesting. It certainly is different and supposed to keep the beer good for up to 90 days unopened. However, if I'm getting a growler filled, I ain't gonna be waiting three months to drink it, so... Surprisingly, there are usually three to five sour beers on tap. Mostly a good deal of IPA's and Stouts, with thankfully, a few wheat types thrown in. There is a digital blackboard on the wall with the current offerings, and if you follow their twitter feed you'll notice that beers change daily. So, it appears if you really like something, sadly, it might not be on tap next visit. Lots of different bottle beers for sale also. All in all, a pretty big selection. Add to that, the inside is fantastic. Lots of wood and marble/granite. The chairs at the bar are a little heavy and kludgy, but viable. Place is really nice inside. However, it ain't big by no means. Bar seats, 4 tables or so, a small window area, that's about it. Service has been quick and helpful the few times I've been in. Prices seem to be pretty good. Some beers have up to four serving sizes available I noticed. Couple tasting sizes to regular serves. I've paid anywhere from about $3 to $7 for what I've been drinking. Anyway, I wasn't sure if the place and layout would work, but it does. Other than having to listen to a couple of beer snobs proclaim their opinions (which mean nothing to me, you goobs) it's been positive. I'll continue to go back. But I'm pretty certain this place will start getting busy pretty quick.

This is a day late, but I made tow trips here yesterday. Met Zach who the GM very knowledgable and generous guy. Got to sample some great beers and filled my first growler with Lakewood Sin Mint. I shared this with some friends at the pool and came back to fill with V12. Great vibe and great people. Will be back for sure.

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.

Honestly, 4 Kahunas Tiki Lounge right here in Arlington is right up there with the very best of them. The place just feels like an instant getaway. It's tucked back off the main drag but the second you walk in you're on some tropical island, no plane ticket required. The cocktails are legit. Super well-made, great balance, real tiki depth, none of that fake sweet garbage you sometimes get. Every drink we've had has been spot-on. Maggie working the bar is the real MVP though. She's quick, knows her stuff inside out, super friendly, and somehow makes the whole night feel personal. Whatever we ordered, she crushed it and kept the good vibes going. She's a huge reason we keep coming back. Only thing that would make it even better? A water feature. A little fountain, a trickling stream down some rocks, or even a small waterfall wall in the back would dial the ambiance up to 11 and really sell that full island escape feel. If you're anywhere in the DFW area and you're into tiki or just killer cocktails, you gotta check out 4 Kahunas. Small spot, super cozy, and easily one of the best tiki experiences in Texas. Already counting down to the next visit.

A big, juicy bratwurst tucked into a toasted Hawaiian roll, loaded with caramelized onions, sauerkraut, and spicy brown mustard. Every bite was a home run. I grabbed tater tots on the side, and they came out crispy, salty, and way too easy to finish. My nephew ordered The Fonz, and it looked incredible. Pastrami and mozzarella piled on top of a spicy Italian sausage, all on that soft, buttery Hawaiian roll. He didn't say much while eating, which is usually the sign of a very happy kid. Our company provided each guest with three drink tickets, and many attendees -- including ourselves -- happily purchased additional drinks beyond that. Unfortunately, our experience with most of the bartenders was disappointing. We visited two different bar stations, and several bartenders came across as rude or uninterested, almost as if serving guests was an inconvenience. This stood out especially since the event was a large private rental, and guests were continuing to spend money throughout the evening. That said, one bartender truly made a positive impression -- Analilia. She was friendly, welcoming, and had an amazing attitude that completely changed the experience at her bar. She provided the level of service you would expect at a venue of this caliber. Despite the inconsistent service, we still enjoyed the event overall thanks to the atmosphere, food, and entertainment. I hope management recognizes team members like Analilia and works to ensure a more consistently positive guest experience across all bar stations in the future.
