Good beer. Working windows. Soft music. Informative bartender. Yes. They don't sell the same beer twice which makes it interesting. Will definitely be coming back!

New craft beer bar inside with "state of the art negative pressure" (or something cool) growler fills.

They probably should have a separate listing now that they added the beer bar and growler refill. But, what the hell, here we go. Over the years I've used them for kegs occasionally. They were especially helpful because this is probably the closest place to get Co2 takes filled. Also, when I had a problem with the seal of the fittings when I went to reconnect a tank, they provided me with the silicon washer that fixed the problem at no charge. Pretty happy on this side of the business. Couple weeks ago they finished adding and remodeling the front part of the building, turning it into a high end growler refill station and craft beer bar. They have thirty beers on tap, most of them stuff I've never heard of, but there's always a couple things I see I want to try. The growler fills are some kind of special pressure fill system. Never really got the full details. They do have different types of growler containers for sale. Watched them fill some up, pretty interesting. It certainly is different and supposed to keep the beer good for up to 90 days unopened. However, if I'm getting a growler filled, I ain't gonna be waiting three months to drink it, so... Surprisingly, there are usually three to five sour beers on tap. Mostly a good deal of IPA's and Stouts, with thankfully, a few wheat types thrown in. There is a digital blackboard on the wall with the current offerings, and if you follow their twitter feed you'll notice that beers change daily. So, it appears if you really like something, sadly, it might not be on tap next visit. Lots of different bottle beers for sale also. All in all, a pretty big selection. Add to that, the inside is fantastic. Lots of wood and marble/granite. The chairs at the bar are a little heavy and kludgy, but viable. Place is really nice inside. However, it ain't big by no means. Bar seats, 4 tables or so, a small window area, that's about it. Service has been quick and helpful the few times I've been in. Prices seem to be pretty good. Some beers have up to four serving sizes available I noticed. Couple tasting sizes to regular serves. I've paid anywhere from about $3 to $7 for what I've been drinking. Anyway, I wasn't sure if the place and layout would work, but it does. Other than having to listen to a couple of beer snobs proclaim their opinions (which mean nothing to me, you goobs) it's been positive. I'll continue to go back. But I'm pretty certain this place will start getting busy pretty quick.

This is a day late, but I made tow trips here yesterday. Met Zach who the GM very knowledgable and generous guy. Got to sample some great beers and filled my first growler with Lakewood Sin Mint. I shared this with some friends at the pool and came back to fill with V12. Great vibe and great people. Will be back for sure.

Then as things were nearing completion, I remember seeing a couple of employees somewhere and asking about it, and they said that it would be in "phase two". Then sometime later, I remember a construction guy telling me, "there ain't no phase two, what you see with Texas Live is what you got, there isn't going to be any expansion". I could never find anything out. Then about six months or so, someone who works there told me it was being built in the corner, and would be open soon. I figured I'd believe it when I saw it, and now it's here. It's a nice space, with a separate entrance. Really went upscale more than you would see in most taprooms. I think only the Choctaw Lounge is nicer, and you can't hardly get into that place. The bar top is almost as long as the room, lots of stools. A good amount of pub type tables, and a larger community table, along with some low height chairs and tables. All pretty nice furniture. Couple of roll up doors open into the patio during nicer weather. My couple visits, I've seen several beers that I've never seen on tap anywhere else. Revolver is supposed to be doing several beers for this location only. Lot's of different beers, and this is probably the only place you'll see with this many of their beers on tap at any given time. I've done the brewery events in Granbury and they usually have maybe 6-8 beers on tap. I'm seeing 10-15 different beers on tap here. You can also get food in here, most of it items from Lockhart BBQ. But there are a couple things unique to the taproom, including the chili. The chili is pretty good, but the jalapeno cornbread is fantastic. Anyway, really nice, great place to hang out. Plenty of TV's and usually some decent music in the background. Prices are higher, which is expected because of the location, but I've paid about $7-$10 for different beers. Looking forward to more special beers. Too bad all the beer snobs hate Revolver, some good new stuff in here.

Great energy, tons of TVs, and a lively crowd that already felt like game day. The service was quick and friendly, which I always appreciate when you're trying to eat, talk, and still make tip-off. Now the food... fantastic. I went with the Das Brat, and it was ridiculous in all the right ways. A big, juicy bratwurst tucked into a toasted Hawaiian roll, loaded with caramelized onions, sauerkraut, and spicy brown mustard. Every bite was a home run. I grabbed tater tots on the side, and they came out crispy, salty, and way too easy to finish. My nephew ordered The Fonz, and it looked incredible. Pastrami and mozzarella piled on top of a spicy Italian sausage, all on that soft, buttery Hawaiian roll. He didn't say much while eating, which is usually the sign of a very happy kid. We'll definitely be back. Great place, great food, and a perfect stop before cheering on the Bears. Sic 'em!

Tokyo Station is the sister location to Free Play Arcade, the groundbreaking bar/arcade concept…read more This location used to be a Free Play Arcade but has now been converted to a Japanese arcade theme destination. If you're expecting old school arcade games like Free Play Arcade, you'll be disappointed. If you want to be transported to Japan via Arlington, read on. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Step into the world of the Japanese arcade. As you walk in, you'll notice claw and Gachapon machines tempting you to play and win something. There's Japanese pop music piping through the speakers, and a dedicated room full of imported Japanese arcade games add more sounds. There's also a dedicated bar and dining area. It was relatively empty at 12:30 PM on a Friday. But it's also simply INCREDIBLE if you're into Japanese culture. You're not in DFW anymore. 2 Star. Service - There's a friendly bartender, if you want to order drinks (I did not). Otherwise, you place your order at a kiosk, grab a numbered puck, and then grab a seat. When your puck starts making a sound, your food will be ready at the windows. Heads up, if you leave you table unattended the staff with clean up so others can sit. They're very efficient. 1 Star. Food - Let me first say, if you're looking for the Free Play Arcade experience, you will be disappointed. If you're looking to be transported to a Japanese arcade (me) this place is awesome. The kiosks are very straight forward; you can order packaged ramen to ramen made in house. I went with the Street Tonkatsu. The broth was mild (not overly salty), and the pork belly was very tender. I also ordered the Tokyo Station Tacos. The JBBQ pulled pork was surprisingly tasty, but I couldn't help but long for a Chinese Bao instead of a tortilla. But what impressed me the most was the booth we sat in. It was connected to a monitor, and we could access a bunch of SNES games. 1 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes! Tokyo Station is my kind of jam. The only thing that gave me concern is that it wasn't very busy on a Friday. I hope this concept stays, because it's the closest thing to a Japanese arcade besides flying to Japan. 1 Star.

There were a few games that were the American version but only a few...Galaga and Pacman were the ones that I noticed. They did have a decent selection of pinball machines...however they are NOT included in the free play. I was a little surprised but also disappointed that pinball was extra... The cost for the "free play" is a little pricey compared to Cidercade...if we are comparing size and what's included. I also think that it helps to have an interest in japanese video games, which I do not. This is a really small arcade which did make it hard to move around and there were lines for the popular games, unfortunately, the overall experience was not really that exciting. The service at the bar was the great, the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. There is a separate area for the free play and the kids working the counter were mostly on their phones unless someone walked up to them.
