They were out of the Tator Tots and Curly Fries which was a bummer but led to the aforementioned Sweet potato fries and Onion Rings... they do not have normal fries...again, what? I was being held hostage at the Gaylord for a convention and managed to slip out for an early lunch. Just a quick Uber ride away and totally worth it! I got the K-town burger (kimchi, pickled jalapeno, bulgogi glaze, lettuce, tomato, sriracha mayo, plus the added egg) and it was friggin fantastic. Paired with the Dallas Blonde beer from Deep Ellum (small but varied selection on tap) I was in absolute heaven. I was the only one in the restaurant which was probably a good thing given the zest in which I wolfed this thing down. (Or is it zeal? Wow! 40 minutes later we get are food. Very disappointed of this location. It's a Monday evening at 7:15 and they weren't even busy! To make matters worse the waitress was not friendly at all! She seemed very annoyed that we were there bothering her. Honestly I wouldn't be writing this review if she would of just stated, "Sorry for the delay" or a simple apologize for the 40 minute wait. I have so missed this place! My husband took me directly to this spot after picking me up at the airport upon my return to Dallas. Oh golly, they have more beers on tap than I know what to do with. Lera quickly and generously started giving us little tastes "try this" of many and I could not decide so I went with Michelob Ultra Light. Hey, it was a calorie trade. Dan settled on a great hoppy IPA. The K-town burger was perfect, juicy, loaded with kimchi, and the fries were from heaven. I have been to now 3 of their locations after eating at this one tonight. My first time was the one in Irving almost 2 years ago, second and many times more at the Keller location. I am SO happy they opened this location in Grapevine just 10 minutes from my house! My favorite thing on their menu is the K-fries, you can get them with or without kimchi. I always get them with curly fries out of the other fry options. I have gone to LA Burger just to get the K-fries as a mid-day fat girl snack! Lol I usually get the Cali Sunshine burger, but I definitely love the holy smokes burger (YUM) as well. I have also eaten the psychedelic burger if you are a fan of the mushroom/Swiss combo. All great burgers! Not only are their burgers bomb, but their tacos are as well! I have gotten the beef and chicken on separate occasions before and they are packed with flavor similar to the K-style fries. I do miss the Seoul dog they used to carry at the Irving location, maybe they'll bring it back some day. I like the ambience at this location, it's much bigger than the others and they have a baby arcade in the restaurant which entertained my boyfriend and I for 12 minutes while we waited on our food. This location is a hidden gem located in a small outdoor strip mall. Very conveniently located to our hotel. Also, we are huge fans of LA burger and we are never disappointed. But this location topped everything in customer service, taste and friendliness. We had guests from out of state and it was their first time trying and they loved it. I'm visiting from Portland, Oregon and we needed a quick spot to eat that was also kid-friendly. We found LA Burger and saw it had 4.5 stars on Yelp and decided to try. It did NOT disappoint. We all got 4 different burgers and a kids chicken nugget meal. I ordered the K-Town burger since it seems like that's what they are known for. It was the best burger I've had in a very long time! The bread was delicious and dense, and the consistency of the burger reminded me of a smash burger. We all shared onion rings, string fries and sweet potato fries and they were all well seasoned and delicious. Don't pass up their sodas either. They had delicious flavors (not a Pepsi or Coke brand) like Black Cherry and Vanilla Cream with Agave. I'm not usually a soda person but they were delicious. My only feedback is that the sweet potato fries came out a little cold, and the service was quite slow with just one person working the front. Other than that, we'd 100% come back!
