Peach cobbler was all dough! No peaches or anything that has to do with peach. Meats turkey, chicken, brisk and 4 out of 10 at best. But the worst was the BBQ Sauce. I come to this barbecue restaurant every once in a while. You can get barbecue anywhere. Their barbecue is just as good as anybody else's. Barbecue is one of those things that there's a lot of good places to eat barbecue in Texas. Their service sets them apart. They're also very affordable. I also like this place because it's like one Family owns it and you can tell they want to make sure that you have great food and great service. They anticipate what you want all the time. As I was walking out, I had my okra and my little container. I guess the son of the owner said to me. Can I get you a to go box? How many people would just ignore you and not say anything. I appreciated the gesture. I was OK with the way I was taking my to go item. It was just really nice that they are always anticipating how to make a person's experience better. Rock solid Texas BBQ with a great variety of sides. Got a brisket sandwich and a Brisket stuffed potato and while the sandwich was quite tasty the potato was the bomb! Huge and super fluffy potato with some excellently smoked brisket on to with all the other fixings. The baked potato casserole is also super tasty and a great side choice. Free soft serve is always appreciated and we chose to put ours on some of their Peach Cobbler and it was honestly some of the best cobbler I have had in the area. Service was great with the gents behind the counter being very friendly and happy to answer all my questions. The young lady at the cash register was a delight and was very efficient. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained with plenty of seating. So happy to find this great local spot. read more

Friendly service. Greeted the minute we walked in. Saw the guy ahead of us order the brisket and it looked amazing. Unfortunately when it got to our turn, we were given the well done dry end pieces. I went here on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was very nice. It's the food that didn't hold up to my expectations. I got two pounds of Sliced Brisket and one order of St. Louis ribs. The brisket had no smoke line at all and was grayish in color. I judge brisket by if you can eat it without sauce. The brisket was so dry I had to keep adding sauce. Well, they try to put as LITTLE meat as possible on on your TWO MEAT plate. It's not weighed by the pound. And when I saw the scraps they placed on my plate for the amount of money they were charging. I left the food and the place. Excellent. Wife and I split a three meat plate with chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The meats were cooked perfectly and the sauce is tasty. Went with au gratin potatoes and green beans for the sides. They were OK. The rolls that came with the dinner were warm, fresh, and buttery. Try the chocolate cream pie for dessert. It is excellent! The staff is very nice and the restaurant is what you would expect for a good BBQ joint with a rustic interior. Clean, too. This is the best BBQ joint in Lewisville. Jose and Saul greeted me the second I walked in the door! Jose took the time out to explain to me the different plate options - he was really kind. If you are looking for some good bbq visit here. I ordered the fatty brisket plate and was not disappointed. I loved how clean everything looked - usually when you have self serve options it's a disaster & an unpleasant sight to see. I loved it so much. They also have a spicy bbq sauce so ask for some of that!
