I got the single burger, it was amazing. The meat was great, but so was the produce. Nice crunchy lettuce. Also, good service and a very clean bathroom.

Divey little place but the food was good. Tables and chairs were sticky. Not a lot of seating but did see a lot of take out orders. Weird huge bean bag. Interesting.

Just had a great meal at fat shack. It's basically bar food but it's done well. I ordered a munchy platter that had onion rings, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks and fried macaroni and cheese balls. I personally judge all fried macaroni and cheese balls against what you get at the cheesecake factory and these are just as good at a fraction of the price. They serve them with marinara sauce. It was really good. Their ranch is good. The service is great. The vibe is kind of a more rock 'n' roll Wingstop vibe but if you're hungry and it's late in Denton, I highly recommend Going to fat shack for munchies. Experience was 10 out of 10.

Just ordered food to go ! Never eaten here before until now and HOLY SHIIIIT! 10/10 recommend!! I'll post the receipt so you see exactly what I got ! THE CHEESECAKE BITES ARE INSANELY GOOD!

The menu got my attention with the catchy names. However, the sandwich was just too much. I know there is supposed to be alot of ingredients but fries, cheese sticks, and poppers just too much. Flavors get lost in the mix. Mac and cheese bites tasted like they were out of a frozen box. If you are hungry you will get full. But not very satisfying.

    Great view too

I'm gonna be honest, coming here I wasn't expecting too much. That was until I pulled up and placed my order. Just walking in was enough for me to know I found a favorite. I was originally getting a sandwich to-go, but when I actually looked around the back (which includes a giant beanbag), I kinda just felt like sitting down. I'm glad I did, because I've just been sitting here eating a Fat Gorbie and watching a mix of anime and hells kitchen for the past 30 minutes. This place is chill. It's weird to see other reviewers call the people working here waitstaff and service. These guys are dope af.

I've tried Fat Shack a few times, and I'm starting to realize it's just not my kind of place. When they first opened up, it seemed like a dream to me, somewhere I could get fried Oreos at the drop of the hat. However, after a view visits, I'm less enthused. On my first visit I ordered one of the sandwiches that had a million ingredients. I remember it not tasting like much even with a slew of sauces and such. They were also out of batter this visit, so I couldn't partake in my beloved Oreos. Some time passed by, and I decided to have it delivered through DoorDash. I've heard some really great things about the hamburgers, so I opted with a basic cheeseburger. I also decided to get a couple jalapeño cheese poppers- something that can either be really good or just watery and gross. I also ordered some fried Oreos, and got a call about five minutes later that they were out of batter and couldn't fulfill that part of my order (grrrr) It didn't take long at all to get to me, so everything was still piping hot when it arrived. The burger looked very clean, and not sloppy at all like some of the sandwiches. It had some good flavor, but the texture of the patty just wasn't right. It was just gritty and gross, almost like a school hamburger. I'm guessing they just use frozen patties. The jalapeño poppers were also just terribly watery inside, which was very disappointing. I intend to come back in the future to finally obtain the Oreos, and maybe find a sandwich I like. Just a couple of things to note: this is a very sketchy parking lot at night. I've seen people going around cars trying to see if some one left the door unlocked, and have been accosted for some spare change every visit. I would not recommend coming at night. They used to have in house delivery, until the very early hours of the morning, but they have since switched to using doordash and no longer have any of their own delivery drivers. Lastly, both visits I was here they were playing some pretty "interesting" music, complete with quite a bit of profanity. It seems to just be the employees music, but it's so loud it's hard to miss. Just a heads up if your planning on bringing young kids.

Ordered to have delivered via ubereats for dinner. I got a burger, single with cheese, bacon and jalapeños and the boyfriend got the fat shack sandwich (cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, onion rings on a hoagie roll & ranch on the side.) We also ordered extra ranch and a cherry coke. Where do I start...well the burger had no jalapeños and added mustard to it as well as some kind of other sauce, maybe ketchup or BBQ sauce?? So we switched meals. When he got to the middle it was uncooked. The fat shack sandwhich wasn't completely horrible. He didn't like it but I feel like the combo was alright when dipped in ranch. Also extra ranch we paid for was not in the bag. Also put extra napkins in the notes and not a single one. Sad the fat shack sandwich wasn't better :/ really wanted this place to be as awesome as everything on the menu sounds.

Lies a sacred temple spoken of only in late-night smoke circles and whispered among the enlightened: Cheba Hut. A place said to be crafted by the Ancient Toastmasters--mystical beings who forged balance, flavor, and perfect toasted bread at the dawn of the munchie universe. Its walls are etched with hemp-runes. The air vibrates with the scent of destiny, jalapeños, and lightly toasted magic. Inside this hallowed sanctuary, two legendary food-warriors rise whenever a hungry traveler approaches the counter: THE DEATH STAR -- DARK LORD OF FLAVOR Formed in the cosmic smoke between light and shadow, the Death Star is stacked with smoked turkey, salami, bacon, pepper jack, and cream cheese--the five elemental forces of the Stoner Pantheon. Jalapeños explode like tiny meteors. Pickles and onions whisper ancient secrets handed down through generations of late-night snack shamans. The Death Star doesn't simply satisfy your hunger; it bends your entire existence into its orbit. It hits with the gravitational pull of a black hole fueled by toasted bread, forbidden knowledge, and perfect munchie science. THE KALI MIST -- SHAMAN OF SPICE Emerging from the sacred fog that drifts across the Hippie Highlands, the Kali Mist is a creature of balance and enlightenment: roasted turkey, bacon, chipotle mayo, avocado, jalapeños, pepper jack, and crisp veggies standing in alignment like the chakras of a toasted sage. One bite opens your mind. Two bites expand your consciousness. Three bites make you swear you understand the language of houseplants and incense smoke. The Kali Mist is not a sandwich; it is a ceremony. A vision quest wrapped in perfect bread. And so I stand there, a lone wanderer in the Munchie Realms, bearing witness to the eternal struggle of these two herb-blessed titans. The Death Star calls me to the dark side of indulgence. The Kali Mist guides me toward enlightenment and spicy transcendence. I am torn. I am lifted. I am absolutely elevated. Nothing at Cheba Hut is ordinary. Nothing is mid. Every ingredient tastes like it was crafted by stoner monks who toasted bread using the heat of the sun and ground pepper by chanting ancient munchie hymns. I could eat here every single day for the remainder of my earthly journey and consider it a life fulfilled. Cheba Hut isn't a restaurant. It is a ritual. A quest. A toasted religion. All hail the Hut. The legend lives on.

My hubby and I walked right in,m got seated and ordered our Vietnamese iced coffee, grilled pork spring rolls, shrimp pho and #22 Beef rice plate. Service was pretty fast. The spring rolls were delicious but did not come with peanut sauce so you'll want to ask for that if you're hankering. We just used Sriracha and the chili oil. I devoured my roll. The pho looked good. I wasn't sure what to expect with #22 but I sure was pleasantly surprised. I got too full after the roll so I ended up taking it to go. But the flavors were on point. The beef was thinly cut, lots of yummy lemongrass, over a bed of rice. It did come with fish sauce (but I didn't care for that), a lettuce cup with pickled carrot shavings and some tomato slices. I ended up taking the leftover bean sprouts and fresh jalapenos home. It was enough for 3 more meals! I loved it so much that I had it for breakfast and lunch today. Saving one more serving for tomorrow. If you like this kind of cuisine (pho is a perfect hangover cure) then you should try it. The coffee was pretty strong so I won't order that but everything I had was delicious. Go there, get some. It's not fancy and it seems family owned so that is very cute indeed. Because those fries? Not "shareable." Not "optional." These are crack fries (respectfully). Crispy, hot, loaded with feta and that house sauce doing its thing. Gone in record time. No regrets. Everyone else branched out with different bowls and salads--chicken bowls over basmati, fresh Mediterranean salads stacked with feta, olives, all the good stuff--but me? I stay loyal. The Spicy 360 wrap is my go-to--and let's be very clear--gyro meat only (as it should be ). And somehow... today it leveled up. Like, I took a bite and had a full "hold on" moment. The gyro meat was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and paired with those fresh jalapeños, sautéed onions and mushrooms? Unreal.
