We LOVE TJs! We usually get the Meatzza and some wings. Just know if you get the wings, they are SMOKED and delicious and huge! Not your run-of-the-mill soaked in vinegar, but uniquely seasoned and made with love. Their mozzarella sticks are killer too! Yum, calzone was delish and a good portion size for sure. Love how they make their wings too, they were nice and juicy! Okay, I am not currently changing the rating but do want to mention something. I took a nap yesterday and it was almost 10pm when we realized we hadn't had dinner and it was too cold to go out so we decided to order in. We got a large thin crust pepperoni and a small garlic cheese sticks. $20.55 before tip seemed higher than usual but not necessarily higher than the competition. What got me is something that has actually happened on the last two times my husband ordered and had mentioned, but last night was the first time I had seen it and it was pretty annoying. TJ's- you need to replace your pizza cutter! Either your pizza cutter is too dull or your employees have been lazy in cutting the pizza but considering this happened to my husband at varying times in the week, I am betting your blade is too dull. No one wants to fight the pizza for a slice just to have half of it tear away. It tasted good but we didn't pay for delivery to work hard for our food, lol, that's the opposite of the mood you are in when you order delivery. The garlic cheese sticks had the same problem. Also, it's the first time it has happened but you skimped on the cheese around the crust and my last bites were crust and sauce only. I like the pizza better here than at a majority of the places in town and they have late night delivery which I love when I want to be lazy but for me to make my rating higher I need that pizza cutter fixed and consistency in service as mentioned in my last review. read more

Great customer service. I received the wrong order from door dash and the manager, I think his name was Sunday? Didn't place blame or tell me to contact the driver, he just made it right and brought it to me in less than 5 minutes. He also told me to keep the wrong order (which is the right sanitary thing to do, not saying I'm dirty, but you don't know how some people be living) so I enjoyed the wings, and pizza. Whoever's order I got, also had ranch and garlic butter come along with it, both were great upcharges! If I'm back in the area, I think I'll go a little hotter on the wings (I got hot) and see if it touches the heat that I am looking for. Great experience! read more

The last few times we've order for pick-up has been a little bit of an...um..."experience." Seems like they're ALWAYS violently understaffed and the employees don't try to hide it at all when they're overly stressed. Like... guy at the cashier asks waiting customers for a smoke. Then drops the F bomb about working in the food business. Yikes. Classy act for sure. I appreciate the college town feel and miss the no BS approach of places like The Tomato. But this is perhaps a little over the line. It seems to be a trend with constant staff turnover, though, so maybe it's something management can step in and help with. Didn't effect the taste, fortunately, and I will continue my love relationship with the pizza. But maybe opt for delivery. Or come prepared with a sense of humor. read more

(See photo) Deliveries are always faster than promised, which is unusual to say the least and the staff is always pleasant/friendly. Our friend KC introduced us to this pizza on the patio at Oak Street Draft House last year- and we've been hooked ever since. We always get the meatza pizza and there is plenty to share with your friends. AND, they even have me hooked on their rosemary ranch to dip the slices in. I don't like ranch but this is nice! It's a nice crust loaded with cheese and great toppings. We even tried their Veggie Wedgie last time and it was good. We always call in our order and about 35 minutes later, it is hot and freshly delivered to either East Side Social Club or OSDH. Love their wings, TJ's Pizza Wings 'N' Things pressure cooks the wings and serves them with sauce on most flavors, their X Hot Wings are the only wings I've gotten outside of BBQ variants and the X came cooked off a skillet. They are great. Haven't had any of their pizza or pasta products but THE WINGS. Love getting flats cause they fall off the bone since they are so tender from pressure cooking. I can never go back to wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings. They also offer a student discount with a student ID, if you call in your order it's more expensive than ordering off the app. The app order is a great deal, but still a dollar or two more if you don't have a student ID on an order of 8 wings. A pizza with goat cheese and basil pesto? Yes please! I have ordered from here a few times and always get the same pizza bc it's so freaking good. Try the basil and goat cheese pizza! The basil pesto sounds weird as a source but it's so flavorful and almost a nice earthy taste to it. The goat cheese is awesome! The crust is light and flaky and just perfect. I ordered a cheese pizza for my kids and they said it was their favorite pizza ever! There are a lot of great pizza places in Denton and this one definitely fits in that category. My best friend and I were having a night in and decided to order in some food. We chose to order from TJ's Pizza, but we had pizza the night before so we ordered the lasagna off the menu instead. I got the pesto chicken lasagna and my friend got the chicken alfredo lasagna. Each came with a side salad and a piece of garlic bread. The food arrived about 10 minutes later than expected, butthe delivery man was very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was atrocious. Both lasagna dishes had no flavor and were in desparate need of some salt. We both ended up not finishing our meals and trashing them. My garlic bread would have been okay if it had not been in the same container as my over-oily pesto lasagna, which the garlic bread soaked up. TJ's pizza is one of my most favorite pizzas of all. Pizza is my favorite food, and I have tried many pizza around the U.S., France, Italy, Spain, and Costa Rica. There are several sauces and specialty pizzas you can chose from at TJ's. A really good pizza is the cheeseburger pizza. I get the marinara and get a side of the rosemary cream sauce. Would you like a pizza with your garlic? Oh yes, most definitely, yes. With an option to add double, triple and quadruple the amount of toppings on your pizza--and what a huge selection o' toppings to choose from--what's not to like? I am happy to declare that TJ's doesn't skimp when you ask them to pile it on. And with this level of customization, I'll be happy to give them my money--even it it's not really "gourmet". Pizza doesn't always agree with me and I eat it infrequently, but TJ's may just change my gut microbiome enough to be more compliant. I've enjoyed their garlic chicken alfredo and their spinach alfredo pizzas, all heaped with love with my fave toppings, including anchovies. My only complaint would be that the spinach didn't taste fresh (more like frozen) and ended up soggy from the weight of too many other toppings--yes, I was a little bit over-ambitious with the 4x toppings. But I would be remiss in not stating that some of the best SMOKED chicken wings can be had here at TJ's. A little more health friendly? You betcha, but TJ's cooking method doesn't compromise the taste. Let me clear this up--you're not going to get that same taste as fried chicken wings. Garlic parmesan, lemon garlic and sweet & spicy are all winners in my book. And try dipping some of that garlic parmesan chicken in their basil pesto sauce--zomg, heavenly. Creamy rosemary sauce also gets my vote. Online ordering has made TJ's a no-brainer when it comes to planning meals or satisfying the munchies, especially when the cravings hit past midnight. I've sent in several orders without experiencing a hitch, and even paid a personal visit onsite, and had nothing but good, attentive service. I would be lying if I said I didn't think about TJ's ALL THE TIME. Sadly, my HealthyWage bet is on the line, and TJ's Pizzas and Wings are partly to blame for my miserable lack of weight loss. read more
