I ordered a large pizza double pepperoni and half sausage. The restaurant is not a mile and a half away. Yet, the pizza showed up cold. Double pepperoni equates to one pepperoni per 3 inch square. This is by far the WORST pizza I've had in a long long time. I called to talk to a manager but the manager only works Thursdays through early Sunday. In other words, no resolution to my issues. This is our 2nd trip here and the nearest pizza place where we live. Our pizza was hot and crispy on the edge but not in the center. As before their crust by default is thin crust. A slice cannot be supported by itself and thus you may need utensils to cut it depending how many toppings you put on it. Ours was the supreme which had about 6 toppings. That had to be used with utensils. All in all it was ok but ive seen thin crust pizzas capable of holding toppings better. Their pizza crust reminds me of the same issue with heating a frozen pizza you buy from the grocery store. It gets crispy on the edge and soft in the center. Now im not suggesting that their crust could be frozen but the issues are similar. Our trip before we had the Hawaiian chicken and that had thin crust too. It was ok but cashews on a pizza is just weird. They have a Lunch special Mon Fri 11-3pm which for 9.99 you get a 3 topping small pizza or pasta or sandwich with a salad and a fountain drink for 9.99 They also have free Wifi which I am now using and speed is great. This restaurant is also BYOB so you could pick up some drinks at the nearby Tom Thumb and bring it here!!! Or Bring Your Own Booze. read more

I love their creamy Italian dressing. Grace's specialty pizza is scrumptious with mushrooms, chicken, spinach, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and Alfredo sauce. I also highly recommend their chicken pesto sandwich. The bread is flaky and satisfying and the pesto sauce is very flavorful. We will be returning! read more

Worst customer service I have ever encountered in Flower Mound from any business in 10 years. Food was delicious, but if you ever have an issue, expect to be frustrated by their management. And, don't send e-mails to their 'contact us' link on their website because it's unmanaged by Tik:Talk. When we called about our delivery issue on 12/30, we were told the manager was not on-duty and the owner was unavailable. Would you order food from a restaurant with no manager on-duty? When we called back, he was on vacation. Third attempt, he refused to refund us for 2 salads that were delivered more than 30-minutes after our pizza and pasta arrived. Their error and a manageable customer service situation to provide a refund and encourage future business. Instead, he argued with me and refused to do anything because my wife accepted the salads (don't do that either, unless you want them AFTER you have eaten dinner) and we didn't call right away (which I prefer not to address a service issue when we have company at the house (maybe just me, but I found it 100% ridiculous). Palio's deserves this poor rating and I hope this prevents others from experiencing similar frustration. We will not be sending any more business their way because excellent customer service is a direct reflection of ownership and should be a minimum requirement for any business. No thanks. Have loved Palio's pizza and was sad when the Denton location closed. Talked my wife into taking a trip to Highland village Palio for dinner. The food was find but the customer service is lacking. I thought the bill was high but thought it had gone up since the last time we were there it had been a while. So we order a salad and a pizza. The salad comes out great. Then they bring a Gyro sandwich which we did not order. They took it away and about five minutes later the person who took our order came to our table and told us we did order it and she repeated the order. I am trying to be nice about but her accent was heavy it was hard for me to understand what she repeated what we ordered. Both my wife and I did not know they even sold Gyro sandwich so a little hard to order. They took it back and did not credit us back for the Gyro so we paid for Gyro we sent back because we did not order. I did not like the attitude of the clerk telling me what we ordered. We left with out a refund and will never return to Palios Pizza at any location. Like their pizza but their attitude to use an adjustment. read more

This is the 1st time I'm trying Palio's. It was terrible. The pizzas were soggy and had a lot of gel. The cheese bread was flat. The wings were a little burnt. The bottled sodas aren't cold because they don't have space in their fridge. So hope you like warm soda. They were nice enough to give me a refund on the soda. Horrible first time experience at this location. My roommate and I usually love Palio's. We ordered delivery and were told 45 minutes. However, after an hour and a half of waiting on our dinner, we called the store only to learn that the hostess had taken down the wrong phone number so the delivery guy could not call us when he was unable to locate our apartment. They offered to cook a fresh pizza and deliver ASAP, so we agreed not to cancel the order. The driver was very nice and apologetic when he arrived. Ravenous by this point, we dove into the food. My roommate was finishing off the salad when she yelped and pulled blue STAPLES out of her mouth. Yes, STAPLES. A group of them. In the salad. Her mouth was cut and bleeding!!! How does an inch of staples end up in a salad?! We threw out the pizza...a little scared of what might be in it. We love Palio's Pizza in Denton and Grapevine. We were in the area around 2:00 and hadn't eaten lunch. Kids are cranky so we had to stop somewhere with gluten free & MSG options. We walked in and asked if they had GF dough. The cashier said yes so we discussed our order. Hubby ordered while we washed up. We came out to the news that they were out of.....really they never order XL or L GF Crust. Ummmm... Maybe you should have stated that when we first walked in and asked!!!!! AnyWHOo. Hubby just had to order 2 mediums GF and one XL reg crust. And I'm pretty sure by the look on his face and how this news was given, we didn't get the XL price or an apology, for not being upfront and clear about the GF crust availability. Pizza was ok. I had a GF that was good and the other GF was burnt 1/3 around the edge :(. Won't be back to this location. read more

Apparently, this is the same Palio's that was on Long Prairie for a number of years here in Flower Mound, just relocated. I never really liked that location, it was decorated in their "old" style and I found the pizza to not be as good as the Highland Village location on FM 407. The new location is decorated like the Highland Village location and even has an outdoor seating area. Unfortunately, I do not believe the quality is as good as HV so I have to go with three stars. The fact of the matter is, the meat pizza we had, the ingredients and crust really resembled a Totino's frozen pizza :). The white pizza we had was much better though. read more

Don't expect anyone to ask if you need anything, you'll have to go ask for it. I like the different options but this is just OK pizza. Crust is OK and the toppings such as "fresh jalapeños" are not fresh but rather pickled. Tomato sauce is also very basic, sweet and just meh. Kind of disappointing aaaaaand baked wings..... come on man!!! read more

Took my family of four out for Friday night pizza. We absolutely love Palio's in Grapevine so, we thought this would be a similar experience. The atmosphere is great. Very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the portions were surprisingly SMALLER when compared to the Grapevine location. We always order the XL King pizza and two individual kids cheese pizza. My kids are picky and eat like birds so to hear them say "I'm STILL HUNGRY" after they finish their plate kinda makes me cringe. As for our XL pizza, it fell short by a few inches. Any woman will tell you - size matters. The kids' drinks at this location are only included in their meals on certain days and at certain times. The manager was sweet about it and gave them their drinks complimentary on this visit. Due to the slight price increase at this location and smaller portions, we probably won't be back. read more

I stopped here late afternoon to grab a quick lunch and was not disappointed. Small café environment with great single person lunch meal deal. Personal size pizza with salad and drink for a reasonable price. The pizza was really good and crispy and salad was fresh. Place was clean and staff was very friendly. I will def go back and will prob try their delivery. Be prepared for thin crust.. But a good pizza! read more
