I've been to several Firehouse Subs, and this one many times. Never been disappointed, friendly courteous staff, one of the best!

1st time in, even after all the 1000's of commercials I've heard on the ticket ! I came in for one thing and one thing only: the Thanksgiving sandwich! I'm not a fan of the Thanksgiving meal, EXCEPT, the day after sandwiches. Now, was this mama's sandwich? Was picking up an order and they asked to see my phone to make sure it was real. I did show them and asked why. I didnt just guess the name. Not loud, not aggressive at all. I love finding a Firehouse Subs when traveling! Such a great spot and the subs are always delicious! The Club Sub is super tasty. Also love the Turkey bacon ranch. Majority of their sandwiches are toasted/warm. They also have a large spread of chip options. The best part is getting a pickle spear on the side! Their staff weren't the friendliest when we stopped in recently, but the food was tasty and that made up for it :) read more

So I love Firehouse subs. I was happy to have this one near my house. After the horrible customer service from one of the managers, I will never go to this one again. I tried to keep this complaint private and not publicly say anything, but since they still won't contact me almost 2 months later, I'm posting this bad review. I went through the corporate Firehouse customer service and they said the local management would contact me. Two weeks after my last email to them, still dead silence. Basically, I had been getting this one sandwich and one of the managers (Jeff) made a suggestion on how to make it better. He was right! So I go in again and Jeff's brother is managing that day. I ask to have my sandwich toasted the way Jeff suggested (which I loved!) and his brother blew a gasket. He was not happy and told me he's told Jeff numerous times to not tell people about this slight change. The change...toasting the bread twice. That seemed to be a huge issue with the brother even though I was there during a non-rush with only 2 other people in the entire restaurant. He gave me such an attitude and I had to push hard to get it done the way I wanted. He also had the gall to claim he "owned" the restaurant when I know for a fact it's his parents that own it. The interaction put such a sour taste in my mouth that I will not step foot in that Firehouse again because I have zero desire to ever deal with him if he's managing that shift. So if the actual owners (or Jeff who's actually nice) sees this, please look at what corporate sent you which includes my email and phone number. Firehouse is probably my favorite sandwich shop. Love their sandwiches and the price is right. Join the email club and get points for free food. But what makes a particular store over the top? When you get home with a large to go order, and the order is actually right! We had a large order for 5 very picky people. Cut this, add this, change that. Everything was right! Way to go guys! They even helped me get it right on the App so I got a freebie. The sandwiches were wonderful as usual. My first shot at the new Pastrami Rueben. Absolutely delicious! Everything so fresh. Ordered through DoorDash clicked the Italian with no onions. When I received the order it had nothing but onions! So I call in and speak to Jeff who decided to ignore the clear mix up and tell me how his partnership with DoorDash was a loss and he was walking out the door. We picked up a few subs, chips, and desserts to go last weekend. I had the Turkey Bacon Ranch sub and it was assembled well - not too messy or dilapidated, as I often get at many of their competitors' place. The bread was soft and fresh, and the ingredients were in good proportion and tasted good. The medium size sub was just the right size to satisfy my appetite and would probably do the trick most days, unless I was absolutely starving. Since I didn't go into the restaurant, I can't offer any feedback on the interior or the service but my family member didn't have anything negative to say. I like Firehouse's offerings over the standard Subway menu or the often over-toasted Quiznos sandwiches. read more

I have to admit that this location has really come in handy for me since I moved offices in November. I've had too many days that were too busy to leave, much less run to the bank or grab some lunch and whenever I order UberEats or send someone to pick me something up, they are super fast. They put those Jimmy John's commercials to shame! It's great to have a place that is fast, but I'm most blown away by how accurate they are- they are 100% on, I don't know maybe 20-25 lunch orders in the past 5 months, following all order instructions! Seriously! My number one lunch killer is a soggy tomato so I always ask for no onion or tomato please, easy lettuce if possible, because my pet peeve is messy sandwiches (looking at you Jersey Mike's, University, Denton- lettuce doesn't go on the outside of the bread) and they never fail me. I love a solid and consistent place I can rely on and this one fits the bill. As a chain comparison, I know a lot of people hold up Jersey Mike's as the go to (and I like their sandwiches at most of their locations too) but across multiple locations I've never received stale bread or wilted lettuce from a Firehouse Subs and it's my opinion that the chain uses really good quality ingredients, especially the meats. There are many places where I won't even touch their fatty, oddly colored roast beef but every Firehouse Sub's has given me great roast beef! Of course, I also believe you can have relationships with multiple sandwich shops, so I know some people will have an aneurysm at that concept. :) The only thing I've seen as a problem with this chain is some of the locations will apply too many condiments on delivery orders but not when you actually order inside. That was a discrepancy that had me avoiding delivery orders from here as long as I could, but this location has never, ever, not once drowned my sandwich in mayo like some of their sister locations. Wow... wait... feeds me, follows instructions, neat and tidy, doesn't destroy my expectations? Is this...love? read more

From the moment I walked into this local sandwich and bakery shop I knew I was at home. The smell of bread wafted up my nostrils, and the sodium in a pickle satisfied my salt cravings. Though there was a hair in my sandwich it was still so so so so yummy. Nicest restaurant i've been to since Hibachi. Reccomend if you have a bill belly and even bigger heart. 11/10 read more

I have always loved Firehouse Subs food and I've been going to this location for a while now. I have noticed the last several times that I've been there that my orders are wrong (to go) and the staff just isn't friendly at all. Tonight, I witnessed a very frustrated employee get mad at a customer who was on his phone. The customer appeared to be on hold and his phone was on speaker and it was VERY loud. It was rude of the customer to do that to the entire restaurant, however, the employee went about asking him to go outside with his phone was incredibly rude. I get he was frustrated (frankly I was too) but he could have gone about that much much better. I'm sad to see how customers (rude or not) are treated, myself included. Just not a friendly environment and will reconsider the next time I get an urge for Firehouse. read more

The toasted subs here are very good and decently priced! The only reason they lost is a star is it's brutally slow compared to their competitors (example: Potbelly) who also toast. With having 4+ people working and on average only one other customer each time we go in, I'm consistently surprised how long it takes. This evening I went next door to Chipotle while my husband got Firehouse -- I was third in line at Chipotle, got my food, and still waited 4 minutes with him for his sandwich to be ready. Had amazing service today. First off, fully staffed during a pandemic which was cool to see. Our 7 yr old son is a yuuuuge fan of sandwiches that are made by a competing establishment. Let's say they are East coast style and Mikey likes it. He didnt want to order from firehouse so the wife and I said you can have a sandwich at home. Told him he couldn't get chips either unless he got a sandwich. He still didn't bite. He was not happy and was holding back his attitude but visibly upset. The owner/manager? offered to make him a sandwich just like the way he gets it at the other place and didn't charge him for it. Even hooked him up with a bag of chips, cookie and brownie!!! We loved our experience there today and also thought it was a genius marketing move by the nice guy who hooked him up. I've always loved eating here, but now it can be a family affair!!! read more

I usually don't mind if my order is wrong. I simply ask for it to be fixed. But when 3 of the four sandwiches ordered come out wrong, something must be said. We asked for the first one to be fixed (it had cheese on it) They acted like we were a problem. Then I noticed my sandwich was missing some added ingredients (mayo, s&p, o&v)that were clearly printed on the receipt. And the other sandwich was missing an ingredient too (oil). Honestly, we were in a hurry, so we didn't ask all to be fixed. But I got a packet of mayo and some s&p in the packets. It was all stuff that was overlooked that made our experience less than desirable. I've had good sandwiches from there before, but today was an off day. Firehouse never disappoints. When people bring up sub restaurants, I hear a lot of people talking about Jersy Mike's or Jimmy John's or whatever, but in my eyes this joint reigns supreme, and pretty decisively. The Hook & Ladder is such a fabulous staple sandwich. It's warm, moist all around (but NOT soggy), and has pleasant, but not overbearing hints of sour and sweet. It's just a fabulous combination that feels like you're eating a warm hug. If you haven't given this place a try because it's a little less mainstream than the aforementioned sub places, you gotta check this place out. Oh, and they have a Coke Freestyle. Hot and fresh subs made to order by a crew that actually seems to care if you are happy. The lobby, restroom and what I saw of the kitchen was very clean and we'll organized. It's great and rare these days to be greeted when you walk in the door of any fast food business. I honestly can't think of a reason that would justify a rating of less than 5 Stars. Pretty good place! This was my first visit to a Firehouse Subs. The staff was very friendly and the dining area was clean and had a fun style. My wife's Hook & Ladder sub was very good - it came with turkey, ham, and the general veggies. I had the less-than-500 calorie turkey sub and a Firehouse Salad which was a satisfactory lunch portion. The salad was very good with a lot of different veggies. I opted for no dressing but added some hot sauce from their very expansive hot sauce bar. I chose the Tears of Joy Taquilla Lime hot sauce and it was VERY good. It was a rated a 6 of 10 on their hot-o-meter but I think it was very mild so don't worry too much about getting a higher-rated hot sauce. I like that they have the soda fountain machine with a ton of variations. Two complaints: 1) The lunch was expensive considering what I ordered: 1 medium sub, 1 small sub, 1 salad, 2 drinks = $27. 2) The place was FRIGID. There was a strong cold draft blowing the whole time. I had to get a jacket out of my car to not freeze in the middle of May. I will likely go back when I am nearby and I need a bite to eat. read more

I asked after the owner and his nephew told me to never call the store again just to ask for hot sauce and put sauce on side and was told never to call store again or they would press charges- crazy The last few times I ordered I was able to call the Lewisville, Tx store that had no problem with a quick phone call just to ask for house sauce if nothing else The flower mound store sandwiches are great but I only get a busy signal when I called it A lot of good reviews for them and I don't want to complain but can't anymore tell me how to change my DoorDash to the Lewisville store where they are very nice about a 30 sec call for special instructions- I even try to call during slow hours and brag about y'all all the time even on my online cyber security class with 110 students To each his/her own opinion I will add a couple bucks tip for the extra drive for the Lewisville store What ever happened to customer support read more
