We stopped by yesterday afternoon for some dessert. I chose the cherry pie (which they serve with a small ramekin of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries) and my wife chose chocolate ice cream (served with a cone and berries). Both were really good. One thing to be aware of...even though they are "out in the country" the desserts have big-city prices...$10 for a modest-sized slice of pie; $7 for a scoop of ice cream. Just my view, for what it's worth. As always, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

We visited for the first time on 2/14 for lunch. I ordered the chicken taco salad and my husband ordered a burger. Since it is counter service and they only bring the food to the table, we tipped 15%. While mixing my salad, I flipped over several pieces of chicken that were completely raw. They offered to remake it, but once you see raw chicken, your appetite is gone. I requested a refund instead. What was most disappointing was the lack of effort to make the situation right. They refunded only the salad, did not adjust the rest of the bill, and kept the full tip. Serving raw chicken is a serious food safety issue, yet there was no meaningful attempt at customer service recovery. I have included photos of the receipts. We will not be returning, and I will be sharing this experience wi the everyone.

no complaints on food, it comes out hot and fresh. employees come around every so often to check on you and clean up if needed. seating is in tables of 4 or 8, leading to multiple parties at one table. prices average about $15+ per dish. parking lot is very limited especially during busy times.

The food is so good. The service is great and they offer free alcohol. This is a must try spot. Parking is limited so prepare yourself.

First of all, this place is gorgeous...like, it could easily be tucked away in Napa Valley, California. In a Texas sea of chain restaurants, it's a real treat to stumble on something with actual (non-corporate) charm. Even the napkins were gorgeous! I got completely suckered in by the photo of the Santa Barbara Salad (spoiler: it's basically a taco salad)), and while it was good, I would've loved it even more if the tortilla shell had been freshly fried. Still, the ingredients were generous and fresh, so no real complaints. It was a little challenging to split with hubby, but I managed. We also grabbed a side of onion rings, they were massive, golden, and almost too crunchy... if that's even a valid criticism? One of my favorite parts? The choose-your-own-adventure condiment game. There were all sorts of sauces and seasonings scattered across tables like hidden treasures. Oddly, no ketchup in sight, but BBQ sauce on the onion rings? Highly recommend. Bathrooms were super clean and also filled with style. I love a private bathroom, rather than stalls...

Super cute and super yummy. Prices are up there (like everywhere nowadays), but this is for a good cause. The owner stopped by our table and we learned it's a non-profit that supports kids with cancer. Family style tables so you might meet a new friend if you have a small party, but the food isn't family style. Everything we've tried is delicious!

If you don't have business out in Argyle, you'll probably never try this spot but Little Joe's Farmstead was a surprisingly good bite to eat. Starting with our arrival, there was a good amount of parking options as well as the ability to dine inside or outside (both dog friendly). The setting very modern and cute while still maintaining that homey feeling of a small town. You order what you want and then pay upfront at the register so be prepared for that. After ordering you're given a placard and told to sit wherever. The inside was packed but to be fair, in a town of a few thousand there probably aren't very many options. The service was warm but lacked a bit of that personal touch as there's no dedicated waiter, although that's understandable with the crowding. The food came out at an average pace and was pretty good looking. We ordered the Little Joe's American Burger and the Texas Avocado burger, one with regular fries and the other with the garlic fries. Both burgers were solid from flavor to texture. The regular fries left a bit to be desired but the garlic fries had a punch of flavor that was perfect. Again, if you don't have a reason to be in Argyle, it's hard to recommend driving up for it but if you find yourself driving through or around the area then you gotta give this place a try.

Love the mission behind Little Joe's Farm Stand! Our bridal shower there was absolutely lovely--the food was fresh, delicious, and knowing it supports such a great cause made it taste even better. Highly recommend!

We decided to try this place since we didn't even know. It existed until i found it on Yelp. It's a really great cause. It's a really beautiful location. Lots of pretty outdoor seating when it's not 100° in Texas. All of the staff was very friendly. The burger was so good. I love that it's farm to table. Community style seating inside. We will definitely go back, I really wanna try the breakfast. Oh and it's dog friendly if you have a dog that you want to take with you.

My boyfriend and I tried Little Joe's Farmstead for lunch today and it did not disappoint! I had the Santa Barbara taco salad and it was so fresh and delicious. We also got iced vanilla oat milk lattes to go and they were so good! The service was great-- we were asked multiple times if we were doing alright by staff members. And it doesn't hurt that the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and has a beautiful outdoor area!

The service and quality of food is always top notch. The ambiance/atmosphere is warm, inviting and cheerful. There is much chatter and laughter from all corners.

Fortunately, it did not occur too often. The half and half in my coffee had leaked into the bottom of the nearly empty container. My waitress promptly replaced it with a container from a nearby booth. While sipping my coffee, I noticed an unusual texture on the rim. The mug had a slight chip, but I managed to overlook it. Instead of taking my food order when she served my coffee, she immediately left to attend to other tables. This unexpected delay gave me a chance to admire the muffins displayed in the case. When I spotted a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin, I decided to order a light breakfast and went with the Chorizo Tacos. Holding the tortilla prevent the toppings from falling out was a bit of a challenge. The red salsa lacked heat, while the green salsa provided a pleasant kick. Both salsas had softened the tortillas, making them unable to hold the ingredients securely. My hash browns were my favorite style--crispy on top and moist on the inside. If I had not planned on ordering a muffin, I would have easily enjoyed more than a couple bites. For someone who enjoys the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip muffin was delicious. Most of the chocolate chips were placed on top, with a smaller amount mixed into the batter. If I wanted a less chocolatey experience, I could simply skip the muffin top. But why would I do that?

We ended up waiting an hour for our burritos, which we didn't mind at first because we were catching up in conversation, and I even walked to the register for water a few times during the wait. After an hour, I checked on our order. The person at the register kindly offered a refund since it had been so long, which I didn't ask for but greatly appreciated. However, when the food was brought out a few minutes later, the mood shifted. The staff member made a very condescending comment, saying, "We were calling your name for minutes and you weren't here. Are you sure you were here the whole time?" We politely told them we had been at the table the entire time, but the interaction left a sour taste in our mouths. I wasn't even upset about the wait, but being gaslit and accused of "disappearing" was uncalled for. Don't worry, we won't be back; the unwelcoming message was definitely received. If you eat here, make sure to hover in the ordering area so you don't get blamed for their delays.
