From the second I walked in around 10am, the restaurant smelled strongly of cleaning fluid. We really should have left but decided to stay and eat. No matter how cute a restaurant is (and this one is) if it smells like cleaning fluid it's not a welcoming environment. My wife, who I visited with, and who is more sensitive to smell than me, could not eat here. There was a large room with frosted glass adjacent to the eating area which had a sign "employees only". It looked like it had maybe been a banquet room in a previous life. Now it's holding cleaning supplies which are visible from the outside through the frosted glass. Maybe that's where the strong cleaning fluid smell is coming from? Seeing cleaning supplies stored inside what feels like it should be an eating area while I was eating my breakfast was off putting. I ordered the wildflower bouquet which is an egg, protein and pancake combo with breakfast potatoes. Overall the food was decent. I liked the pancake which had a pleasant crispy texture outside. I wasn't fond of the too sweet chicken apple sausage unfortunately. The one mistake was that the over easy eggs were served to me with a broken yolk. Service was pretty slow given that the restaurant wasn't full. There's also no waitlist or call ahead list, which I would expect from a restaurant like this. It's too bad because I really wanted to like this place, especially as they are so cute. I hope they can fix these issues soon. read more

Cute place but the most terrible chemical odor I have ever smelled in my life as soon as we walked in. It was incredibly off-putting and made us lose our appetite. But we eventually decided to order and requested sugar free syrup with our dish. We got regular syrup delivered with our food with no apology after they fixed the problem. Thankfully our diabetic party always double checks to make sure they keep themselves safe from incidents like this, although it's sad that they have to do this. Today is a sad day for us as we really hoped this place would be our next go-to local brunch spot. I cannot recommend this place unfortunately. My husband and I visited for the first time to see what all the bad reviews were about! Honestly, every restaurant has their hiccups when they first open, but now that they've been open for almost a month everything was just fine. It's a very nicely decorated brunch spot with great plush seating and overall airy ambiance. Our server Tyler, was very polite and got everything in our order correct. I think it's kind of funny it's such a feminine restaurant, yet they have almost an all male staff. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and even has a spot to take pics with a bunch of flowers and the restaurant name. We came around 1:45pm so it wasn't busy and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was great and had some good recommendations. The menu has a lot of options and creative dishes with an Asian fusion. I went with the croffle (croissant cooked in a waffle maker) except changed out the spam for chorizo and it was really good. They didn't have hash browns or Mocha coffee and were out of the ube foam, which is part of the reason for not giving 5 stars. My boyfriend got the make your own omelet and said it was just ok so that is the other reason for giving 4 stars but overall the experience was great and our waitress really added to making it wonderful! We recently had a large birthday celebration for our daughter with 11+ girls. The restaurant went above and beyond to make her feel special and make even mom and dad's breakfast feel stress free. Angie, our waitress, was amazing. Attentive, down-to-earth, knew the menu, gave great recommendations, and just overall a pleasure that made the experience even better. The restaurant has this chic decor to it that make it great for pictures. As far as the food...the croffles are great. Don't ask me to explain them, just go try'em - and their specialty breakfasts and matcha drinks are excellent. Don't be afraid to try something outside the typical breakfast fare, you won't be disappointed. Wildflower is now tops the list for brunch options in the Flower Mound, Highland Village, Lewisville, and Argyle areas. read more

It was ok. Nothing to come back for. Croffwich - I had too high expectations on because it was something different. Way too much sauce in, spam should've been cooked a little longer to give a slight crispy bite versus soggy. Very salty meal with the combo of sodium in spam and sauce. Sunflower omlette - with everything bagel. Feedback was that it was good - enjoyable but not amazing. Again, nothing special other than just a chorizo omlette. Kids pancake qas cooked so perfectly ill give credit here. Service was very meh. Felt like we had to aak for everything which was very inefficient. Not good for staff and customer. Examples: How do you give a bagel and not cream cheese? Pancake but no butter? Fries and no ketchup? Each time we discovered something was missing meant we had to wait for server to be around to ask, then to go get it and food was getting cold. It delays service times too for your next customers that are waiting. I hope this facility makes it, truly. Management- apply some of this practical thinking and hospitality to the team. First time visiting during their soft open week. Conveniently covering a Mother's Day. This was a very nice surprise. There was many new choices I've never seen. It all worked well together. The chairs are lovely and fit the aesthetic perfectly, although they aren't particularly comfortable for an extended meal. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the food itself was good overall, with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow, which detracted from the experience. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It was extremely dark and bitter--so much so that even adding creamer barely changed its color or softened the taste. For coffee lovers, this may be something to keep in mind. Overall, the restaurant has an attractive setting and good food, but slower service and overly bitter coffee kept the experience from being truly exceptional. read more

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and is a nice place to spend a morning. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn't quite match the setting. About an hour into our meal, we began to feel rushed by the staff, and shortly afterward we were asked to give up our table for an incoming reservation. While I understand the importance of honoring reservations, it made us feel like our dining experience was being cut short. The food was decent but fairly basic, and nothing we ordered really stood out or left a lasting impression. Definitely NOT worth the hype. I called a full week prior to make a reservation for Fathers Day (They're not on any off the reservation apps-you need to call). The guy whom took it seemed with it but when we got to the restaurant, no reservation was found. Luckily there was plenty of room; cause although it was somewhat busy, there was still empty tables. They should have not been so behind for how many tables were open. But, it even went downhill from there cause It literally took 15 minutes for someone to come to the table to greet us and take drink orders. Then, once that finally happened. It literally took over 45 minutes to get 3 plates of pancakes (not very complicated) and I had eggs Benedict). We also had to ask when the food was coming. They were very apologetic once we had to call them out. I get that restaurants can get in the weeds and that's one thing. Kind of falls on the kitchen in that aspect. However, it is the front of house's job to come by the table and give updates and make sure everybody's taken care of. We had to ask for Coffee two times. Like the left did not know what the right was doing there. It was not busy enough for that and to boot, the food was definitely subpar. It was not worth the drive to Flower Mound from Uptown Dallas for what we went through. Needless to say, I will not be going back or suggesting it to anybody. My husband and I visited Wildflower today. We were not impressed. After waiting for a while to be acknowledged at the host stand, we were seated where we waited another 10 minutes to get a waiter. Our waiter seemed very uninterested, I asked if I could pay to upgrade my pancake to one of the specialty pancakes and I was told no that would back up the kitchen... so I opted for the eggs, bacon, potatoes with a pancake. The meal had zero seasoning on anything, and the pancake was just ok. My husband got the spicy chicken and waffles, which was actually 3 chicken wings and one waffle cut in 4 pieces. He also said it was just ok. The restaurant itself was pretty and the cappuccino was the best thing I had. The floral scent that kept being released was overpowering for me personally. Went in at 11 am on a Wednesday morning. It was busy which is great for such a new restaurant! We decided to sit at the bar top. Since they were busy, it took a bit of time to be greeted and drinks taken. We are patient people, but I know this could affect other people who are not patient. Once we were greeted, the service was great. As for the food: I love Ube flavor so I was very excited for my coffee to have Ube foam! Loved the drink. I ordered the wildflower bouquet with chicken apple sausage. The chicken apple sausage was the best part of it. The potatoes tasted like cubed French fries. Which if you like French fries, you'd like them. No seasoning on anything so I was adding that. The pancake was just okay. My boyfriend got the spicy lox bagel & that, while very messy, was great! The sriracha aioli was not spicy, more flavorful. His only comment was that it was mostly the flavor of the salmon and the aioli. Hard to taste the avocado, cream cheese or pickled onions. Breakfast/Brunch: I've eaten here twice with friends . We came back again because we enjoyed the menu options we tried and the service was point on. Friendly, very attentive professional wait staff. Wildflower bouquet maple butter I could eat all day. Really good eggs and pancake was fine. Big high point is the Korean BbQ wings. (More like a chicken tender size. Not the wing tips) I definitely recommend Wildflower's Korean chicken wings! Fresh brewed Ice tea is excellent. Eggs Benedict sauce is refined and very good. My friend enjoyed the gravy for biscuits and gravy. The gravy is yummy. (Don't expect much sausage bits though.) They appear to bake their biscuits/English muffins from scratch. Quite nice. Overall Wildflower Flower Mound has the potential too compete with Old West Cafe. Different menu ie Hong Kong influence on some of the many traditional American breakfast items. Definitely a winner!
