I have had the French toast multiple times and it is absolutely delicious! There's an option to even make your waffles and French toast crispy. I've also had the steak and eggs, blueberry pancakes, and multiple burgers. The environment is wonderful. There is beautiful art all over the walls and the music is very calm. The service is amazing! They are very welcoming and intentional about checking in on us. The owner even comes to visit tables often. I love this place and would come back again and again! read more

I got a veggie burrito today and oh, they must know how much everyone loves eggshells in their food! I got a few nice sized pieces in there too, lucky me. What an experience. Location: 3 I don't live near here and it's not convenient to much except the movie theater and Buc-ee's. Vibe: 3 A big open room with breakfast counter and lots of tables. It was welcoming when we first entered then you start to notice the art on the walls is really random and has no theme. I am not sure what vibe they are going for here. Menu: 4 We had brunch which had a decent selection. There were some original pancake and French toast flavors, Food: 1 We got the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Haystack. Haystack was good but not what you expect; the hash browns were more like roasted potatoes with large cut veggies. Good flavor just not what we expected. Unfortunately the pancake came out with the middle uncooked. I don't mean undercooked, I mean gummy and fizzy with the raw baking soda. Too bad because the edges were really good and the batter seemed to be really different from normal pancakes. I am curious about some of their dinner offerings. Drinks: 2 They had mimosa flights and a good menu of espresso and matcha drinks. I didn't get any juice because it didn't say if it was fresh-squeezed (I can buy the jar stuff at the store) Service: 1 We were greeted quickly and told where to sit but waited a while watching the servers before anyone spoke to us. (At least 4 servers working with less than 10 tables seated). We ordered water and coffee, coffee came out without water. Once we got our food we asked for water again. No one came to check if our food was ok (like the raw the pancake) or gave us refills on water or coffee. By the end we were so frustrated we just waved someone down for our bill so we could leave. If I ever came back it would need to be another shift. Price: 3 Fair prices but hard to say since we didn't like the service. Cleanliness: 4 Did not see the bathrooms but our plates, cups, and silverware seemed clean and there wasn't any food on the floor or dirty tables. read more

I dont often do this, but there's a reason they get 5 stars. Not only are the dog friendly but today when the eond was horrible and we had the dogs and had to sit outside the owner took care of us himself. The staff are so amazing and I am so glad we stopped despite the crazy wind outside. The portions are sooooOoOOo large and you'll definitely get a healthy, full breakfast. I had the breakfast bowl and it has perfectly seasoned potatoes avocado black beans chopped crispy bacon and a fried egg. They send out house made tortilla chips and I could have eaten those for a meal all in theirs elf.tje inside is clean and it sits large parties pretty easily is seems. I don't even know where to begin with this review. I walked in and noticed that all the tables were dirty. There was just 1 table sitting and a sign that said seat yourself. I decided the counter since tables were dirty. Shortly after several tables walked in and people were told find a clean table. I will say that it appeared as though only 1 person was serving everyone because the other staff member was more back room and also not pleasant. you could tell the server was having a day. But after witnessing what the other person said to them I can understand the frustration. Even as guests began to be ignored the person who seemed to be in back responded you are going to have to wait for food and menus. No explanation no apology. So when it came to ordering as I mentioned the server seemed to have her head somewhere else. I asked about making a simple modification. I wanted sausage gravy on the side. Apparently the gravy is just gravy and sliced sausage on top. So not sausage gravy per say. Then the gravy lacked flavor. But since it's not made with the sausage no rue can be created with the flower and milk. Definitely a water based gravy. When I asked about how the haystack came since it says fried hash brown and side of potatoes I said that's a lot of potatoes can I just do sausage for the potatoes. I wasn't told that the hash brown is decoration on top and not actually as a side. Food was nothing to rave about. So with all that said. I can excuse the service and the wait but the food quality wasn't there for me to say I would come back. It was really 3 strikes Bad service Poor food quality Lack of welcoming atmosphere What's funny is the owners response to review. They say I said I don't get my sausage but I never mentioned that. Also said I got discount never happened. Said I was rude. Wasn't true I was patient the entire time. Others actually complained they had t been helped or food hadn't come out. We really wanted to like it but sadly it wasn't very good. The coffee isn't hot, at all. Even after a refill still not hot. The iced tea either wasn't brewed today or it hadn't been stirred. We asked the waitress and she said it was brewed and not instant. This should have been our sign to leave but we went ahead and ordered food. The waitress was polite and attentive. The food had either too much seasoning or no seasoning at all. One bite of nothing but pepper on the squash/potatoes side dish. The chicken on the chicken and waffles was over fried to the point even with a fork and knife it was difficult to cut let alone chew. Our first time trying this little brunch spot. The sign said to seat ourselves so we did. We ordered our 2 espresso drinks, some water, and a coke first. Then a few minutes later ordered the meals. The wait for our food was longer than expected for the size of the restaurant. Our server apologized once for the coffee taking so long. Finally the food came out. (Yep still no coffee) The shrimp and grits were great. The chicken Cesar salad was ok, dressing tasted like Ken's steakhouse dressing you can get at Kroger. The chicken breast was a little dry. The waffle, eggs, and bacon didn't come with toast for the over easy eggs and it tasted just ok, not really worth the $15 price tag. When we were almost finished eating our meals, the coffee drinks finally made an appearance. One latte and one affogato. Both were so bitter we used all of the sugar packets on the table. The manager didn't come by once to check on our table although we saw someone, presumably the manger or owner, helping deliver food to a table. Overall we might go back to try some dinner items, but hopefully they have their logistics worked out next time. read more

cute little brunch spot. it's been a second since I've been there, but my boyfriend goes quite often. they recently had a change of ownership though, and I'm not sure that he's been since then. we lived the breakfast/brunch menu when we went. nice portions for the price. seating was nice and spread out so that you don't feel like you're cruising your neighbor like you do in some of these smaller places. 4 star, only because I haven't been there in about 6 months and have heard that some things have changed with the new owner that the boyfriend wasn't elated about. read more

our server made us feel pretty rushed, even dropping off the ticket mid meal but the (i'm assuming) owner was super friendly and made us feel at home which made up for it. one of those places you have to know what to order. The hangover burger was delicious and the fries were the perfect amount of crispy. the caesar wrap was ok, not bad just comparable to any bagged salad and not quite enough chicken. We went on a sunday morning. Sent my banana pancake back twice for being undercooked (raw). just could not get it done so we left. It was the first time there and the last. Nice cafe and great selections. The staff was super friendly and we appreciated the help and kindness they showed. I ordered the egg, spinach and feta wrap. It was delicious. I added salsa and cholula hot sauce for heat. The only downside was the wrap was really wet after a bit. Not sure if that was from the spinach drippings after cooked (water comes out) or what. It wasn't grease, so not a deal breaker. I would order it again, but just a small / weird downside. read more
