Service remains a strong point at Marty B's coffee. The staff greeted me with genuine friendliness, and even during a busy stretch, they kept things moving without making anyone feel rushed. It's clear they take pride in creating a welcoming environment. This shop can get crowded during peak hours, but honestly, it's all part of the charm. It feels like a true community spot and the energy reflects that. Every visit reinforces that Marty B's Coffee is one of my go‑to places for good food, great coffee, and a comfortable place to unwind.

    HUGE NO NO

I must say I am not a fan of this. I was a huge fan of this place and to find out you aren't pet friendly is sad. I get owners aren't clean and don't pick up after themselves but then for that matter don't have inside seating because people leave trash and don't pick up. As someone who currently owns a dog even before I did this was something I looked for. It would be a great way to meet people. Either than the no pets outside everything else is great. Food, service. Coffee love it all

    Sweet Potato Scrambler
    Santanu S.

I was in the mood for either breakfast kolaches or tacos. I wanted to give this coffee shop another try. While looking at the menu, the Sweet Potato Scrambler caught my attention. I decided to order one of their seasonal lattes, Maple Vanilla Latte. The young cashier must have had a Word of the Day desk calendar and today's word was Awesome. Almost every sentence ended with that word. When she entered the latte order, I noticed the vanilla in the Maple Vanilla Latte was an additional cost. Although not on the menu, I ended up ordering a Maple Latte without the vanilla syrup. As before, I was asked for a gratuity even though there was no service other delivering my order at the end of the counter. As before, the booths and many of the tables are reserved for parties of two or more. Fortunately, there were several tables on the floor and one by the wall which were open for solo diners. Initial thought about the food, why is this called a scrambler when the egg is not scrambled? Second thought, this could have been served in a bowl. As I was trying to eat the rice and diced sweet potato with the small plastic fork, I wished it was served in a bowl. The scrambler was okay. The small plastic fork made it difficult to cut the egg into pieces. I thought it would break when I chopped the avocado. The crunchiness of the diced sweet potatoes made them even more tasty. As for the coffee, I am glad not to have opted for the vanilla syrup. The milk in the latte already diluted the maple taste. The vanilla syrup would have diluted even more.

Vanilla Cold Brew - Sugar Free

I've been on a mission to find a truly great cold brew--one that's smooth, rich, and not ruined by that overly tart acidity a lot of places serve. Marty B's Coffee absolutely nailed it. Their vanilla cold brew is, hands down, the best I've ever had. The coffee blend is perfectly balanced--bold without being bitter, smooth without that sour bite. What really sets it apart is their sugar-free vanilla. It's flavorful, not artificial-tasting, and complements the coffee instead of overpowering it. You can tell they care about the details. If you're picky about your cold brew like I am, do yourself a favor and try this one. Marty B's just set the new bar for me.

A SYMPHONY OF SERVICE AND FLAVOR Marty B's isn't just a local haunt; it's a veritable institution, serving up a staggering 10,000 customers a week. Marty himself is a legend, rising from modest beginnings to become a culinary juggernaut, with multiple locations and hush-hush plans for even more. Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show: the Three Musketeers of customer service - Kylie, Brianna, and leading the pack in management Melissa. I ask myself "SELF" How have I not left a review for Marty B's before? Well, there's no time like the present. Kylie, my go-to gal, is like the sister from another mister. She whips up drinks like a seasoned mixologist and can chat up any patron like an old friend. Marty B's coffee might have his name on it, but these ladies elevate it to an art form. They craft some of the best beverages in one of the coziest, most inviting spots around - no hustle, no bustle, just pure relaxation and enjoyable conversation. If you're looking to unwind and have a laid-back chat with fellow patrons, Marty B's Coffee is the place to be. Swing by between 4 and 6 PM, Monday through Friday, and prepare for a good time in the spectacular ambience of awesomeness. As for the food, while I haven't sampled everything on the menu, I can personally vouch for the brisket and chicken nachos. And let me tell you, the carrot cake is simply worth adding a notch to the belt. So, head over to Marty B's Coffee and experience a little slice of culinary heaven. You won't regret it. UPDATE!!!: Not only is this place stellar in every sense of the word, but there's more. Upon getting home and scrutinizing my receipt, I discovered that Melissa had comped one of the drinks she inquired about. I didn't ask for it, nor did I expect it. The fact that I mentioned I didn't like the drink and she comped it without any prompting, speaks volumes about the exceptional customer service you can expect at any of Marty B's establishments *****!

While we were there, I observed employees loading whole oranges into the fresh orange juice machine. Several oranges fell onto the floor, and I watched the employees pick the oranges up and place them back into the hopper to be juiced. I asked to speak with the owner but was told the owner was not there. A man who identified himself as the general manager came out. I explained what I had observed. The only question he asked was, "Do you know how many oranges fell onto the floor?" I replied that the number wasn't the issue. My concern was that oranges that had contacted the floor were being put back into the juicer. I did not feel my concern was taken seriously, and I requested the owner's contact information. I did not receive it. Because I believe this is a serious food safety concern, I reported this to the Highland Village Code Enforcement Division for investigation. We were excited to celebrate a special occasion here, but instead we left concerned about the restaurant's food handling practices and the response from management. Based on what I personally witnessed, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

It is rare for me to make a review unless the service is absolutely phenomenal or the service/food is just that bad to the point I feel people need a heads up. Upon entering this establishment around 11a they weren't overly busy. We were warmly greeted by a couple of young ladies and quickly set outside per my request, as I had my dog. I care for a lady who has dementia, is 85, and one of the many things we do is try new restaurants. Today we drove about an hour from where we live. I ordered my lady a very berry waffle. Per the menu it says strawberries and blueberries, however I asked for bananas instead of the blueberries. Then I proceed to order the Iron Man Scrambler for myself. I try to intentionally eat healthy so I normally make substitutions at all the restaurants I eat at, and it is rare that I get any pushback. This is how is says it comes on the menu: Egg whites, baby spinach, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. Served with your choice of fresh fruit or sliced avocados and your choice of toast. I asked to substitute the tomatoes for fresh jalapenos and the mushrooms for bell peppers. I chose the sliced avocados. As you see, it's supposed to come with your choice of toast. I chose gluten free toast. I originally asked if I could do a side of their gluten-free oatmeal i stead of the toast and was told they couldn't do that and so I opted not to go that route as I didn't want to pay the full price of a bowl. Several minutes later, she came back out and reconfirmed my order. Upon getting our food, my lady's order was right. The waitress gave me somebody else's meal before catching her mistake, took it back, and brought mine out. I couldn't believe the minimal portion size for the price. I wouldn't say there was anything bad about our food. My lady's waffles seemed to have been a little overdone. Normally she eats it all. Today she didn't, which says a little something about the waffle as those are her favorite. This is where it all went south! I received my ticket and was charged almost $2/ea. for the substitution of jalapeno and bell peppers, even though it was an even ingredient swap, and I do this everywhere I go if I'm out for breakfast at noon charge. I would have understood if it was for extra avocado or something. Then then I was charged $3.25 for the toast that is supposed to come with the meal. I mentioned it to the waitress, and she said, "Oh, I'm sorry, we can't make substitutions without charging." I then said, "Well you should have mentioned this up front." She apologized again and I proceeded and said, "And I thought the toast came with the meal." She just kind of had this look on her face, so I said, "I need to speak to the manager, this is unacceptable." When the manager comes out, an asian lady, she gets freaked out by my dog and says, I need to come inside if I wanna talk to her. So I go inside, she says, "How can I help you?" I proceed to tell her that I go to 1 or 2 restaurants a day making substitutions to menus and have never been charged for basic ingredients. She very dismissedly said, "We don't do that." I then proceed to tell her that I was also charged for the toast which was supposed to come with the meal and again very dissmissedly with more rudeness she says, "That's our charge." I told her, she was not very good at listening to the concerns of her customers, I would never be back, and that I was going to make an unfavorable review, to which her response was, "Okay, that's fine!!! Never, even an I'm sorry, which I'm glad she didn't say that, because a lot of people say it and don't mean it. I guess that's the one thing I can give her; she was honest. Greedy, rude, expensive and the WORST customer service by a restaurant manager I have ever experienced. And how unfortunate for her employees that have to work under her. They definitely need to be trained better. I don't fault my waitress, because she was fairly new & fairly young. However, I did speak to her and tell her that in life, you need to stand up for what's right, that I wasn't faulting her, and that I hope this was a learning lesson that she tells her customers that they're going to be charged extra for things in advance.
