Avoca Coffee Roasters in Denton proved to be a good spot for remote work. As I walked in, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee set the tone for what turned out to be a great experience. I ordered a gingerbread latte which was good but the ginger notes were a tad more potent than expected. The ambiance, coupled with the strong wifi connection, created an excellent environment for remote work. There are plugs in the back booths, catering to the charging needs of remote workers like myself. The cozy atmosphere, aromatic coffee, and thoughtful amenities made Avoca Coffee Roasters a good choice for those seeking both a flavorful coffee experience and an efficient remote work setting in Denton.

My cappuccino was good and the beans I took home on the barista's recommendation were even better. Deducting a star for dry croissant. The space is lovely and comfortable: variety of different types of seating, a lot of natural light, and fresh greenery.

Love it here! I have been getting coffee here since they opened and they are consistently great! I have to admit that I do miss the wendigo that used to be their house blend.. but it's still great I order the iced Lattes and hot .. both amazing! Love ALL OF Their house made syrups ..! Yummm! Service is friendly .. the ambience is great .. love the vibe here!

Came here around 9am on a Monday and it was pretty empty. The interior of this place is awesome, and there are so many cozy places to sit and work. This is the type of coffee shop you could sit in all day. They had a few pastries, and the coffee menu is fairly small. Service was ok. I'd come back if I were in the area!

I'm on a mission to try almost all the coffee shops in Denton! First place is Avoca- I would say this place is good overall - Customer service was okay- people were nice but not as welcoming and friendly like other places I've been to. - Ambiance is nice- clean and a little plain - Busy- Place got super packed even during a weekday which is so unexpected - Seating- Lots of tables and seats available. Although I didn't get to sit in the front of shop where I originally wanted, they have an amazing back space which has a window looking in so I felt like I was a part of the mix but I had more peace and quiet as well which was awesome - Coffee taste- Above average for sure- it is pretty consistent quality as the other Avoca location in Ft Worth stockyards. The latte I got wasn't my absolute favorite just because of preference but it was still tasty and I finished it after adding honey myself. - Amenities- Bathroom not the cleanest but not the worst I've seen. The toilet paper needs to be in the dispenser because it's so gross when other people touch all of the roll and put it back on the trash can. Wi-Fi is pretty solid and good for work I'd say. - Conclusion: I would definitely come back it's a great place to get work done I saw people have meetings too. You can apparently book the meeting room for an hour for free if you email in advance.

I visited this Denton cafe for the first time today and it is one of my new favorites in the city! It's located close to UNT campus and is a great spot to study after class (FREE WIFI). With plenty of parking, the atmosphere is bright, "planty", and it incorporates lots of light wooden designs which makes it very aesthetic! I came on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty packed inside but I was able to find an open seat. The barista was super friendly and she got my order out in less than 2 minutes. I ordered an Everything Bagel Dog heated up & it tasted as expected. For the price (~$2.20) I am happy with my purchase & can't wait to try the drinks here when I come back! Overall, great spot for getting work done or chatting with friends - they do close at 7pm though (6pm on Sunday's) so beware of the time if you plan on staying late.

This is a wonderful addition to the coffee shops in Denton. We have more than enough coffee shops that sells coffee with tons of sugar, this coffee shop also has good pour over and of course drip coffee as well as the coffee drink you expect to see at any location like espresso etc. I tried the misty valley brewed with a chemex which I really liked. These beans has a good fruity flavor which I think is a perfect fit for a pour over. I also tried the Lemon Blueberry Poundcake which also very good. They have a drive thru and good seating both indoor and a patio. It's a brand new building, everything looks fresh and new. They also have free WiFi. I will be coming back soon for sure!

This is such a cute place to study! I love the vibes and it's not as busy as the coffee shops near the square. The drinks are okay (I tried the matcha latte, and the iced mocha). But because this place was playing Clairo's new album, Charm, instantly a 5/5 stars :D

Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.

I went today Monday June 1, 3:35pm staff was great! Seems they are busy and had a shelf full of online/pick-up orders. I typically walk in and see what they have to offer and buy 5lbs on average. When I asked the lady at the front she gladly went to look, unfortunately they didn't have Colombia in the medium roast, but that makes sense! Colombia is a Hot Hot item! They are also a smaller roastery, I bet it takes the staff plenty of time to get a solid roast for all those different coffees, so I never nag them for not having the coffee. The coffee is great, it's local, best of all, it's fresh. She gave great alternatives to my pallet, as I love a light and medium roast, but I need a large quantity. I got the Ethiopian Guji, usually my second choice, and she packed it right up for me. I was in and out in 5 min. They do sell soaps like someone in the reviews said, but it's just a couple, alongside with a minimal amount of merchandise on their shelves. Long story short, they are people too, and the vibe you give out, is the vibe you'll get right back. I overheard the roaster and it seems they are sweet and passionate about what they do. I will continue to come here

Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing. I called ahead to confirm that my order was ready for pickup, and I was told everything was set. However, when I arrived, the staff member informed me that the order had not been started and that they did not have it available. I told her that was okay and that I was willing to wait. What bothered me most was the customer service. The staff member rolled her eyes, and walked away several times without explaining what was happening. When the coffee bags were finally brought out, she walked away again, I still needed to complete payment and receive a receipt. Despite trying to get assistance, I was ignored until I stopped her and asked directly. I've had mostly positive experiences here with the coffee beans over the years, so this interaction stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope management can provide additional customer service training to ensure customers feel acknowledged and respected.

Their bourbon barrel aged coffee beans smell incredible and taste amazing! I recently served the coffee to a group of my friends during brunch and all who were coffee drinkers were blown away by the flavor. It is delicious hot, however it makes a killer cold brew which is how I served it. Cold brewing helps the coffee bean to retain as much of the bourbon flavor as possible. If making your own cold brew seems like a tedious and daunting task, you can always opt to get one of their ready made cold brew bottles and just crack it open and enjoy!
