Owner James has put his personal touch throughout the shop, handcrafting most of the furniture--including the coffee bar itself. It gives the space a warm, welcoming feel that you just don't find in chain coffee shops. There's also beautiful artwork throughout the café, much of it hand-painted by his daughter Caley's grandfather, alongside pieces from talented local artists. This place literally is roasting beans in sight which is super impressive. The inside is unique with places to sit, things to buy and look at. The entry is a little odd and hard to find but they did make the door nice and bright which helps. Another prop to them is that they make all of their own syrups.
