Zera is a charming coffeeshop with friendly service and a calm atmosphere. The interior of Zera is beautiful with plenty of space for community events, catching up with a friend or studying. I love that they have scripture on their wall. I had the earl grey tea which smelled delicious and tasted delicious. It's important to note that you will need to add sweetener to the early grey it isn't automatically included. Zera is a coffeeshop with a cause, giving back to men and women overcoming addiction to live a Christ centered life. I love the beautiful mission that Zera is on and look forward to supporting this coffeeshop when I'm in Denton.

I think it a very decent coffee shop. I love the customer service and the coffee shop mission of helping addicts recover. The ambiance is great but I believe it just missing some background music. Coffee is good but nothing too fancy

Elementary Back to School Breakfast Event.

The folks there are very much in the business for the purpose of serving others. As a staple in the Denton community, each staff member shows up with gratitude and kindness so that the customers have solid service with a workable environment. There is clear intention to bless others within the fabric or the company! Recently they helped support a Teacher's Back to School Breakfast by donating coffee for a local Elementary School. Please continue to support this business as they prove to give back to the community and its citizens in big ways!! Thank you again, Scott! Huge shout out for your heart.

I have come here many times for last night study sessions, and the workers are always so nice. Yea and coffee prices are cheap, as well as for the baked goods. They have sandwiches available too if you get hungry. The lemon pound cake was absolutely delicious! Moist but also fluffy and very flavorful while not too sweet. For iced tea, there is a refillable option which I love, and they always have 3 different types to choose from. I've had the hibiscus, peach and coconut. Peach is my favorite thus far. I also appreciate Zera's mission and community focused vision and values. The only con is the noise. Maybe of the time it's moderately quiet, but many nights there is a worship band practicing loud music in the space adjacent to the coffee shop. Sometimes there may even be a service or an event. In general, it seems like the people here are very noisy as well, and not as mindful about others. So if you prefer quiet when working, thus us not the place to go to.

The coffee was simply delicious!!! I enjoyed every drop. Stumbled upon this coffee shop on my way to a meeting in the area. The floor plan is spacious and the noise is minimal. The staff was friendly. It was refreshing to learn that my purchase was support the community. If you're looking for a nice coffee shop with ample space and a positive vibe- this is the place.

Zera is now offering various delicious ice cream treats along with their yummy coffees, teas, sandwiches and wraps!!

He had come here several times with a couple of his friends from college and said I needed to give it a try. I ordered biscuits and gravy and it's not like your typical biscuits and gravy. It just has way more flavor than you would expect. I sampled a few other various items off the menu and everything was outstanding. The staff is very nice and courteous and it's just a cozy little place to go and get some food. It's also very clean inside and it's one of these businesses that if you're not paying attention, you'll just drive right past. It's kind of hidden out of the way, but it is definitely worth going. It's not a huge restaurant and I didn't have any trouble finding parking. It also wasn't very busy at the time that we went so I would imagine it will get busy with the breakfast or lunch rush but both times that I've been it's been really nice. Highly highly highly recommend visiting this at least once and trying it

A Truly Special Birthday Experience…read more We visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's 16th birthday with a large table of nine, and it turned out to be an incredibly special experience. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every steak was cooked to perfection, and every one of the boys said it was one of the best meals they had ever had. The Wagyu steak was particularly memorable--one of the boys actually had tears in his eyes because of how incredible it tasted! The service was exceptional as well. The owner Rick personally came out to greet our table, which made the evening feel very personal and welcoming. The highlight for the boys was when Chef Anton came out with a special palate cleanser featuring house-made sorbet paired with goat cheese and pistachios. It was such a thoughtful and unique touch. The boys were so impressed with Chef Anton that they asked to take a picture with him afterward. From the incredible food to the warm hospitality and those unexpected special touches, this was so much more than just a dinner. It was a memorable experience that made my son's 16th birthday truly special. We are so grateful and will definitely be back!

The feeling was soooo warm and inviting and the ladies greeting us were the absolute best. As you walk in you review the giant menu and place your order and from there find an open seat and they bring the food out to you. Love the concept. Encourages socializing if you'd like and you're allowed to bring your dogs. Our neighbors behind us had the cutest little pooch who took a liking to us right away. Such a cutie. Talk about a diverse and interesting menu. We opted to try the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup as well as the fried chicken sandwich and a bowl of veggie bean soup. Everything is fresh and tasty. Prepared to pure perfection. Both sandwiches were major home runs. Quality ingredients and preparation. Highly recommend. The soups...I can't even begin to brag more about them. The tomato basil is homemade and the best I've ever tried. My sister and I decided to split out sandwiches and boy was I glad we did. My veggie bean soup was soooo good. My absolute favorite. If you've been to Louisville, Ky and eaten at Lynn's paradise cafe (it's closed now) you'd have major flash backs. Memories... We had the opportunity to meet the owner and talk about warm. Hats off to a wonderful experience. The entire staff deserves applause. Finally, I end this review with desserts. We had to try (judge us later) the cherry pie and cinnamon roll. Both served with fresh fruit. The cherry pie was other worldly and the cinnamon roll was eye rolling deliciousness. Life is good!
