Went during the 2 yr anniversary after ordering my pizza 45 mins before. People who came in ordered after me and still got their pizza the same time, as by the time I left it was an hour after I placed my order. My pizza wasn't as great as normally there, and I could tell they were rushed. Also many people had to be turned away as they ran out of dough, but I think for these special events there should be a limit of maybe two, then if they want to support they could buy additional pizzas at regular price. Multiple people were walking out with five pizzas in their hands. It's hard to be mad as they put out a great product and the owners are super nice, but I hope future special events like this are planned better. read more

Edit to update my review. Management contacted me and we discussed my experience. They have a satisfaction guarantee with their food and they were very professional and hospitable regarding my comments. I have since had another pizza however this time it was on the Manhattan New York style crust. I thought this crust was way better and more my style. I think these guys have a great concept and everybody should give them a try. They're good people and take care of their customers. I will be back. Original review. I love the idea this place and tried to really like their pizza. My family had a couple pizzas from them when I was out of and they said they didn't really like. I wanted to try it since it is such a great story and idea behind the company. Ordered a heavenly cracker thin crust meat lovers, chicken bacon ranch Stromboli and chicken wings. The pizza had plenty of toppings. The crust was actually kind of thick for thin crust. It was not what I was used to for thin crust. The Stromboli was similar flavoring with plenty of toppings. Overall, this being the 2nd time we have had my family says please don't make us eat that again. I was very disappointed and was hoping the original experience would be replaced by great eating experience on the second try. It's a great concept but food just didn't seem all that great. The people running Heavenly Crust Pizza sure know how to make a good first impression! For their grand opening they have come up with the ingenious (and very generous) marketing strategy of giving away free jumbo slices of pizza every day for 20 days. Each day they offer something different which allows customers to try almost every type of pizza on the menu. Although I haven't had them all, the ones I did taste were outstanding. Since "crust" is in the name the expectation is that it will be the spotlight of the pizza - and it is! I'll admit that I typically order a thin crust whenever possible because a regular crust tends to be too doughy for me, but I will make an exception here for their Manhattan crust. It has the perfect balance of softness, and chewiness. The sauce could be described as heavenly too, being both sweet and savory at the same time. It's so delicious that it's easily among the best I have ever had. Add to that high quality meats (you can't go wrong with their homemade sausage) and fresh veggies and it makes for an all around phenomenal pizza. But wait, there's more! Their giving spirit extends well beyond providing free slices during their grand opening. They also donate half of their profits to charity. So, having a happy belly isn't the only benefit of patronizing this business. read more

This place is more than a pizza shop now for this family... thanks to a cute little book the owner gifted me on my first visit. No exaggeration, I firmly believe they helped change our family's ETERNAL destiny (see below for details). AND... as far as EARTHLY food matters, this was only our second visit after discovering this unique pizza shop, and it did not disappoint. The pesto chicken pizza on that crazy awesome crunchy thin crust of theirs was so satisfying... just had another piece for breakfast this morning, lol. We asked to switch the garlic for grape tomatoes though and they were happy to tweak it for us (garlic doesn't love me back). I had ordered ahead and it was ready to go on time, hot, fresh, and gooey. Yumskies! But on that first very fateful visit I mentioned... I happened to notice a display of cute-looking little hardback books in the shop. I won't say here what book it was cuz I think you should stop by the shop and see for yourself. One of the owners gave me the book for free that day when I asked to purchase it - to my shock - and now it has become arguably one of the most important, life-changing books I ever read (and I read A LOT). It also lead me to read a few more books by the same author, and now it's certifiably visibly a different life for me and mine, now and forever. Such a little book, such a humble gift, but now such an exciting, passionate, joyful new perspective with rewards of peace and joy here and now, and unimaginable bliss, peace, love and rewards to come. This is a newer pizza place that started up over the last couple of months with lots of fanfare and a lot of free food! I didn't get a chance to stop by when they were doing several weeks of freebies to get the word out but what a great campaign. It's a to go/pickup place only as there's not any tables to sit and just one bench to sit and wait if you don't order ahead of time. My advice, definitely call the order in ahead of time. I did not and of course had to wait. Obviously it has the feel of a pizza delivery place and since it's new everything is clean. But to be fair it took maybe ten minutes to order a "jumbo slice" pizza and a Stromboli. The folks there are super nice and friendly. They're also happy to answer any questions. There's Christian music playing in the background and not sure if that's all part of the Heavenly name but it's always nice to hear some Christian Contemporary. I went with the namesake Heavenly Crust and a pepperoni lover as the style. Here's something to keep in mind. A Cheese jumbo slice will start at $5. Each topping after that is a $1. So for example I ordered the pepperoni lover which is triple pepperoni and adds up to $8. The pizza is truly Jumbo and is really two pizza slices when it comes out. Pretty good sized pieces as well if you're splitting it. But I'd steer clear of the specialty pizzas and just go with cheese and a topping to keep it in that lower price point. It's a good deal no doubt. The flavor however I thought was just not there. The crust was super dry and I didn't get a moist feel on the top. Was like eating saltine crackers...except saltines have more flavors as this one was really dull. Perhaps next time I will try the Manhattan. And man the grease from triple pepperoni totally not worth it....LOL....that's a warning to save some grease stains on someone's shirt I hope.... The Stromboli however, had a wonderful crust wrap around it and was really fantastic. Came out with two sides of marinara and after the pizza slices seemed more like heaven to me. I chose the meat lover Stromboli which is $12 and it also was plenty big enough to share. This I would call in and order again for sure. I'm sure between my wife and kids we will make it through some other offerings they have and perhaps we might find some other jewels. Fairly decent value quantity-wise for both meals but pizza really didn't separate itself from any of other 10 pizza places around town. read more

Also, the pizza quality is not nearly as good as some other places in town. We had our second visit tonight and it was just okay. Honestly, the 18 inch pizza we got tasted par baked- which would be terrible, and did not taste that that fresh- even while my wife picked it up right when ready. Also As you can see from the picture, the 4 garlic knots were a little embarrassing- even if they were only 3.00. The order wasn't made correctly- toppings on whole pie instead of just have, and really lacked sauce on the pizza but a few slices of cheese made up for it. While I understand this may be a volunteer type business for a good cause- I think it should still be run like a consumer focused for profit enterprise. There appears a need to have older and stronger leadership on the premises as everyone seems to be around 16 years old or so. UPDATE: The owner called, apologized, asked what he could do to make things better, and offered to refund the cost of the missed items and the delivery fee, which he did. He also followed up with a text, apologizing again and stated the amount I was refunded. I am satisfied. We ordered from them because of their story and wanted to be part of that mission. We ordered the Big Texas deal online. The delivery came missing 2 items and the driver could only say "si" to every question we asked. When I called the store (Flower Mound) they "couldn't contact the owner and didn't know how to rectify the issue" and wanted my number to have the owners return our call (apparently, they've never made a mistake before and have no policy in place for correcting them). 19 minutes later I called back to say just refund the cost of the missing items and the delivery fee and was then told they have a delivery out with the missing items. No call, no text, no apology, nothing. Needless to say, we won't be ordering again. read more

I'm not sure if I will return to give it another try but if I do I hope to have a better experience. 15 minute wait was 27 minute wait. Not great customer service. Inedible pizza. Confusing pricing on menu. $5 slices are actually $8. Crispy crust was so hard I thought I was going to break a tooth. The goat cheese pizza didn't have anything on it that looked or tasted like goat cheese. Other customers having issues the whole time I waited. A customer accidentally paid $40 for a pizza last time and they were explaining the situation and the manager and cashier went to the back to discuss a solution for a really long time to the point where the people just paid full price and left without resolution. It was $20 for two slices and a coke. Topping on supreme were uncooked but crust burned. Great food but service is horrible. I have never been spoken to in the manner I was today by a owner of an establishment. I received my pickup time via toast app and ended up being over 20 min past the designated pickup time. When I arrived I was told it wound another 10 min which I responded with my time showed 7:07 and Rhonda (owner) confirmed they were running behind. I then proceeded to let her know I was not happy with that answer as this was only my second time eating from their establishment and already service is an issue. She then defended the company and telling me that other businesses do the same and not have product ready as stated when you place the order. So number one, never argue with a customer FAIL. Then her true colors came out and she yelled from the top of her lungs, I'm comping your meal and I never want to see you back here again. I responded that I never asked for a comp nor do I want a comp. I can't tell you, if she wouldn't have gone off on me like the devil, I'm certain I have given then another opportunity in the future to make it up to me but not now. She should not be in the hospitality business, she has some serious issues going on. Like I said, GREAT food as I am a pretty strong critic of pizza but please don't expect your food to be ready when you arrive.
