Tried this place for the first time a few days ago. The service was good. There weren't many people dining in the restaurant, but they seemed to have a lot of carry out orders. I ordered the margarita pizza and meatballs marina. The pizza was average at best. Pizza Hut, papa John's or dominos is honestly much better. The meatballs reminded me of those you find in the freezer section at a supermarket. The bottom line: If you want good pizza, go somewhere else. read more

I recently visited Pizza Capri's for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was! We had the crab stuffed mushrooms, pasta with meat sauce, side salad and a sausage sub. I had the sausage sub, and it was absolutely delicious, now don't get me wrong, the sausage, marinara sauce and cheese was super but what made the sandwich was the roll. That roll was simply the best dang roll I've ever had a sub on! I could only eat half so I am really looking forward to lunch tomorrow. The other dishes we very good also. The staff was friendly and attentive. A very clean restaurant also was very evident. I now have a new and safe recommendation in Denton for my friends and those of you reading this review. read more

Great pizza place! Just tried this tonight with my boyfriend for dinner. We had the stuffed mushrooms, buffalo chicken pizza, and a New York style pizza. Everything was hot and delicious and tasted fresh. Prices weren't bad especially compared to other local places like Zalat or Mellow Mushroom. They also offer pasta dishes as well - we'll have to try that next time. read more

Walked right in on a Sunday afternoon, it's counter service and we were one of 2 parties in there. After a quick review of the menu, we ordered s large Caesar, seafood stuffed mushrooms and a 14" pie with Italian sausage, pepperoni, garlic and jalapenos on half! No alcohol permit yet so it's BYOB. The fountain drinks are good though - Coca Cola selections. The salad flew out first as we sat near the bar to watch ESPN for football updates. I love the Caesar dressing they use and a ton of croutons. I split it w my hubby and we didn't even come close to finishing it. The mushrooms were delicious. Freshly prepared with a vodka pink sauce. THEN the pie arrived. It's definitely not a shabby crust, not Lisanti product at all. The sauce was also good, not too much and pretty tasty. I didn't get to ask questions about these things but I will next time. They are located at the edge of an apartment building and serve slices all day. We could hear a constant "ding" as people ordered pizza for breakfast and this is brilliant. Previously, we've ordered delivery from them as well. I tried the buffalo pizza for myself. I liked it so much I froze 3 slices because I typically don't like delivery pizza. It heats up perfectly in the air fryer. We're looking to go back. BYOB is a deal and it's a local joint. First off, this location is really convenient if you live/work nearby. The inside is nocely decorated and clean, and the menu is standard fare for a pizza place. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. We enjoyed our pizza and we made plans to order next time we have friends over. I'm glad we found this place. Finally, real NY style pizza in Denton. The crust was dang near perfect and the sauce took me back to when I used to stay in Tribeca for business because Chinatown was close and there was awesome pizza across the street. This was as good. Friendly, fast service. Fair prices. Wonderful. read more

Phenomenal food, highly recommend. The owner was working tonight and took our order and served us and he was phenomenal and friendly. This place has, just, such a comfortable, easy-going atmosphere. The price is right and the food is really, really good. The portions are really big, too. You could easily make two meals out of most things that you get off the adult menu. You're my favorite things that I had from our order tonight: -Tiramisu (AMAZING) -Cannelloni pasta -margarita pizza -fried cheese -garlic bread -Capris salad -fresh bread (complimentary and it's the perfect combination of a thin, crispy crust and a soft, airy, light inside) I would share pictures of some of these things but we were too consumed with how great everything tasted so by the time I thought to take a picture we were already all done with most of our meal. I just ordered the pasta fettuccine Alfredo in a child sized portion. At the end of the bites, I realized there was a piece of glass in my mouth. I spit it out, called the restaurant and explained what happened. They promised to call me back (4 times and never did). They said, "the health department will not let us use glass in our fettuccine"...rly?! Then, they said it must have been the delivery driver's fault & I should contact them--as if a driver would open a sealed bag, unseal the pasta, & drop a big piece of glass, then reseal the bag, this was. BTW, a CHILDS portion, and if a child had eaten it, they would have a bloody mouth full of stitches right now. The fourth time I called the restaurant, they just hung up on me. Sure if I wanted to blame DoorDash, I might get my money back, but it wasn't their fault. Unbelievable that they chose to ignore this. This place is only about 6 months old. Our 1st time to finally get a chance to go in and try it and we couldn't be happier! The staff was very friendly and the food came out amazingly fast. It is clear that pizza is their specialty and you can certainly taste it in the freshness of the dough along with generous portion of quality cheese cheese. Everyone in the family was very satisfied with their orders. I can't wait to go back and try one of the pasta dishes. Maybe I'll get the pasta trio in order to taste several at once!
