My husband and I went to Graffiti Pasta for the first time recently...and OMG - it was so good. The restaurant has an unassuming storefront that is easy to miss when just walking by, but when you step inside - be prepared for a warm, colorful dining experience. We made reservations. They probably were not needed for the night we were there, but I could see this place filling up quickly on some nights. The restaurant has a cozy retro vibe with MTV videos playing behind the bar and splashes of color throughout. Our server was super friendly and attentive, and the speed of the service was fantastic! Graffiti Pasta specializes in unique, delicious cocktails. There are no beers on tap (just cans), and my husband would have liked to have Peroni on tap even if that were the only choice. I enjoyed two of their cocktail which were both excellent. Our food was delicious and just the right amount of food. We left the restaurant satisfied without feeling like gluttons. Their stuffed mushrooms with filled with a creamy ricotta, the Banksy's Baked Ziti was delicious, and the homemade spaghetti was a special treat. I loved the build your own pasta options, And OMG at their rolls! SO good! Everything was wonderful and truly made for a great dining experience. The atmosphere is colorful, upbeat, and full of personality, making it just as fun as the food itself. The house-made pasta is absolutely worth the hype. You can taste the difference, and every bowl is fresh, flavorful, and the kind of meal that has you planning your next visit before you've finished this one. We had a great time walking around downtown denton and decided to try out Graffiti Pasta. This place is small and we beat the lunch rush hour to be able to grab a seat at the bar. It's has a great look and they played 90s alternative music videos which added to this review. I ordered their red wine and stuffed mushrooms $11. It was baked crimini mushrooms stuffed with house made whipped ricotta and italian bread crumbs with creamy pesto. I'll just say this was the perfect app/meal for one. It paired so well with my red wine. Fo For our main we ordered chicken spaghetti bake $17.50. It consisted of fresh house-made spaghetti baked with house roasted chicken, white cheddar cream sauce, calabrese chili peppers, italian pico, five cheese blend. Wish we had looked a litte harder on this selection. We thought it was a chicken Alfredo. So this is defintley packed with cheese, more of a Mac and cheese bake. Everything was good! I was so frustrated after looking for parking for too long. We had been driving on a road trip and my patience was at a zero. I told my husband this better be the best food I've ever had for all the trouble. Well, the food and service definitely made up for the pain finding parking. We got a lot of food and everybody liked it so much that only the tiniest piece of pizza ended up left on the table. The kids got pizza. One cheese, one margharita. They were thin crust, perfectly cooked, and topped with just the right amount of toppings. My son and husband both got the Rasta pasta, son got the beyond meatballs instead of chicken. It was a bit spicy, but the flavors were outstanding. I got the caprese and the stuffed mushrooms, which I shared with everybody at the table and they were a hit. Since there was so much delicious sauce left, we had to get some bread to dip! This place is a cute little hole in the wall, and it could have been a little better of an experience if it wasn't so hot, but the food and service really shined so much that it didn't detract from the experience. Our server was kind and patient, seeing as we have been driving all day and my brain wasn't functioning at 100%. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. The food is delicious and the drinks are extremely well-crafted--beautiful, upscale, and clearly made with care. Our bartender Kai (hope I'm spelling it right) was beyond helpful and incredibly knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. My friend and I came here recently in the afternoon. We were seated quickly and served by Morgan. Morgan was knowledgeable about the menu, including offering recommendations. The interior of the place is clean with a welcoming atmosphere. I went with the pesto margarita pizza which was delicious and filling. Love love love all the graffiti art! My family of 4.5 stopped in Denton during a road trip and found this hidden gem. Since we were on the road, we didn't get to try any of the alcoholic beverages but they had a nice drink menu and bar area. We ordered the bruschetta combo (mushroom and tomato) and they were sooo good. Food is good but god forbid they mess up your order because they won't believe you. I ordered a pasta and usually it comes with 1 piece of garlic bread. But this time it didn't. So we asked a worker about it (not out waitress since she wasn't around) and they brought us 4 pieces in a bowl. Well they charged us $7 for it because they thought we wanted bread for the whole table. When I explained this she said "I just checked with the person who ran y'all's food out and she said shes sure she checked yalls plates and it had bread." I love my visit to Graffitti pasta located right off the square in Denton. They have a great selection of pasta plates and a very welcoming vibe inside. You have the option to sit upstairs or downstairs in the basement. I usually order the same thing, Rasta pasta and sub my shrimp for Salmon. The service is always on point and fast, the waiters do a great job at making sure you're taken care of. This is definitely one of the top food options in Denton for good reason. read more

Decent reviews. I like pasta. Why not?! I recommended this place to my friends as a meet up for dinner. We get sat and the server is deaf. No big deal; I can point at the menu. We get our drinks and they have alcohol in them. Success! We order one thing and they are out of it. Bummer, but not unheard of especially for lasagna. We order another thing and little did we know that the thing would be haunting us for some time. Specifically, one of us ordered the ziti, and the other two order the tortellini. We get served in like three minutes which is WAY too fast for pasta. This was the red flag that we did not heed, to our detriment. My friend eats half his ziti, which... fine. I tried it and it was okay despite being congealed and burned at the same time. My other friend and I demolish the tortellini without conversation... much to our eventual chagrin. We were both hungry. But this was not al dente. This was al polente. I neatly stacked my service for the staff, but instead of clearing my setting she reached for the credit card and could not collect the check fast enough. As a former server, I begrudgingly tip in sit down establishments in states that continue to exploit draconian wage labor. However I have a problem with tip creep, and am fairly offended that the "minimum" suggested tip is now 20%. Since last night I have been forced to decide whether to spend my holiday time with or without my family. Unfortunately, I don't think my family would appreciate my company while I sat next to them in trouser pudding. So merry Xmas to me. For the record, my friend is having the same Xmas Xperience. My personal favorites are the green baked ziti and the green baked ziti and the tortellini de la flor. Both times I went everyone was satisfied with their dish . The only thing would recommend skipping out on is the brisket bruschetta. It's good, but in my opinion it's not worth the price for amount of food you good. My husband tried their "Rasta Pasta", which was a twist to the traditional Alfredo fettuccine. The pasta was tossed with jerk seasoned alfredo sauce, bell peppers, topped with jerk seasoned pulled chicken and fresh cut italian parsley. It was really amazing! This is another spot where the reviewers have let me down. We came with friends to grab some dinner and it was an interesting experience. We had Italian elote and meatballs as an appetizers. The Italian elote was really good and the meatballs were mid. There was some flavor missing. For pasta I ordered a tricolor tortellini. It was ok. I honestly preferred the little bread they gave me over the actual pasta itself. My husband had the Rasta pasta which was good but it felt heavily overseasoned (jerk chicken seasoning maybe?) The crust was a thin premade, the edges super crunchy and the middle soggy. The sauce was right from the jar. Take my advice and pick something else. There is plenty to choose from. I am a FAN. The interior definitely has great charm between the lighting/ambiance and unique decor. The menu items were also very unique and customizable if you chose to go that route. Pricing was between $10 and $20 per entree. Entrees overall were delicious and heavenly and hefty! I did not expect to love that pasta dish so friggin' much! Definitely recommend coming during an obscure time or before dinner (6pm) since it got wildly busy and there wasn't enough seating in the establishment. Parking was a bit difficult (street) but if you drive a block or two away, there is a public parking lot you can use - it's just about a 5 minute walk away. read more
