Information is not clear. The food tastes great, however, be sure to thoroughly read EVERYTHING. The lunch special is a kid's pizza. The salad consisted mostly of the large white chunks of the lettuce ribs, and the drink was a canned soda. In factoring tip and delivery for a restaurant six minutes from my house, I paid over $20 for a portion not big enough for two people. I called to inquire what happened with the order and was told the lunch order is a kid's pizza. Nothing to be done about it. What a complete waste. We ordered via online, one x-large cheese pizza and two orders of wings at 6:25, we received confirmation that our order would be ready within 15-35 mins. My husband arrived at the latter part of the time slot, around 7:00 and our order was no where to be found. My husband called me to confirm the order and to provide screenshots of the order. The manager figured it out and advised that the issue was "the way she input the order". My husband waited 10 more mins for our order to be ready and when my husband got home and I was serving my children, the pizza was cold - not at all made ready for pick-up temperature. If y'all can't accommodate online orders effectively, then this should not be an order option. We spent $64.92 to feed our children cold pizza. read more

Ordered baked ziti fettuccine Alfredo and also cannoli. Baked ziti is absolute trash. The sauce is dry and meat is grossly over cooked. The pasta is over cooked. Two bites and in the trash it went. Alfredo was okay but my daughter immediately started feeling sick after eating it. Cannoli is mushy... and the filling was sticky (I can't explain how weird the texture was). Based on the "King Pizza" I received, I'll never bother to order Palio's again. The sauce was almost non-existant, and the flavors average, at best. I would order from almost anywhere else before I would order from Palio's again, and that includes Pizza Hunt, Domino's and Papa Johns, all of which tasted better to me. My husband and I use to love going to Palio's Pizza Cafe. Here lately ... not so much. The last three times I have ordered pizza ( carry out) when I get home I have to put the pizza in our oven at home to crisp it up. The crust is soggy. We called before ordering the pizza to explain to them about the crust. If they can't get the crust where it's crispy and not soggy we will not be back. Lots of room for improvement. We were getting burned out on Dominos and Marcos - so we decided to try Palio's after a long, long time. They do have an extensive menu and the ingredients are definitely better quality as far as toppings and dough. I would give them 3.5 stars if I could. My hubby ordered dry rub wings, his own Italian sausage type pizza and I got The Scorcher which is a chicken pizza w fresh sliced jalapenos. The order was delivered quickly and we got what we paid for. For future, I would have my cast iron skillet ready to go so you can make that crust a little more done so it's not just a floppy pizza slice. Their Caesar salad is very good too and crisp Romaine. My hubby liked it so much he used both containers of dressing. My pizza was delicious and I would order that again. The wings are baked but you can toss them into your air fryer to crisp them up again. We had to do a bit of heating up with the pizza and wings so that's why a 3 star, instead of a 4 - but all said, I'd order from them again and just be ready to make the quality ingredients sing. read more

I just got home, super excited for a delicious pizza from a different Palio's than I normally go to. The atmosphere in this Palio's is very nice, a little more classy than the old one on Loop 288 that closed. The staff were friendly until I got home and realized that it looked like some of the pizza's ingredients were missing, that's how sparse they were. Also the crust was like chewy and crunchy at the same time as if it had been burnt. When I called to express my frustration, the manager simply told the cashier to tell me he had made and cut the pizza himself and that it was perfectly fine. Well he didn't show it to me when I left or else I would not have accepted it. He sincerely refused to even acknowledge my discontentment. I will not be going there again for the fact that the MANAGER was so unhelpful and Update: An official email came through from Palio's asking to know my order so they could make it right. Used to be my go to pizza place. Came in last night to pick up a pizza order and when I got home, a COCKROACH crawled out of the pizza box in my car. I called the store back and they told me the manager wasn't there and to come in tomorrow to talk to him. It reminded me of the pizza I got down in Austin at PintHouse Pizza on Lamar. I also shared a Baked Mac & Cheese...it was very good....and I dont know how we did it but after all that food, we had dessert...the cheesecakes are pretty good.
