    Chicken noodle plate

AWESOME! Great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable, they gave great recommendations and advice when we asked. We got the noodle plate with chicken, and it was so flavorful and the veggies were cooked to perfection. We also tried the sweet & spicy wings (red), the soy garlic wings, and the chezzling fries - they were all phenomenal.

Thought the bibimbap with bulgogi was really good. Price was maybe $16 which for a huge bowl wasn't bad. Lots of hate in the reviews and the restaurant only had three total patrons while I was there but I had a really positive experience. Want to try to fried chicken next.

Took my brothers to a Korean fried chicken place called KO! chicken in flower mound. They had recently undergone new management and added a bunch of items on their menu in addition to Korean fried chicken. I ordered a medium soy garlic wing and my brother ordered a medium lemon pepper wing and medium sweet and spicy boneless. The wings comes with 8 pieces and the boneless come with 6 for medium. You can also order a whole chicken option and they also have flavors such as original crispy, cheezling, and Ko spicy. The wings are a pretty big size and I appreciate that they give you more flats than drums. The soy garlic sauce is pretty decent but I think the best flavor was the sweet and spicy with the boneless. Their boneless pieces are really big! I felt like the lemon pepper flavor could be stronger though. We also tried the truffle fries and at first thought the dipping sauce was the truffle but it was actually some kind of onion sauce. Truffle flavor is present but a little faint. The fries themselves were cooked perfectly though, crispy with a pillowy soft inside. Overall a decent place if you're in the area but there are better options I rather go to

I'd give it a 4.5/5. I was craving some Korean fried chicken and so my boyfriend took me here. The inside was very clean (A plus for me). The tables and chairs looked pretty new. Maybe they remodeled? It was my first time here so I'm only assuming based on what I saw (comparing the bathroom/back area). I chose the one with the padded seat. It had some nice decorations and a cool neon sign. When we first pulled up around 3:30pm there was no one there which was kind of nice. The server was nice and the food came relatively quick. I saw a lot of signs and took my time with the menu. First things first, we came for the Korean wings fix so we ordered an 8 piece bone in. We were able to split half the wings to be tossed in soy garlic and the other half KO spicy. I also happened to be craving some fried rice so we ordered the Kim chi fried rice with beef. Lastly, I wanted to try the KO chicken sandwich. I had high expectations but it's definitely more on the basic side. I do not recommend the KO chicken sandwich. It was on the dry side for me. But still alright or ok. However, I really liked the Kim chi fried rice with beef. Delicious flavor. I would also say they did a really good job on the "dipping" sauces. Soy garlic was not too overpowering like some places. The KO spicy was VERY spicy lol. We didn't ask about the spice level because we knew the answer didn't matter. But the spice gets hotter and hotter as you eat it. It didn't make me sweat but my boyfriend was sweating. I was burning though. I would do it again. Very good value! About $37 for everything

Came here for lunch always good. My daughter had the bimbimbop and I had the bulgogi. This place is awesome and is my favorite Korean restaurant in Flowermound. To get a great meal under $15 no complaints! The service is awesome and the owner is really friendly.

I do think prices were slightly on the higher end and service was a little slow, but again, given the circumstances, I personally did not mind. There is an impressive selection of banchan that could almost be a full meal in itself. They were all very fresh and high quality. I ordered the galbi and spicy cold noodles. The galbi came on a sizzling plate. It was tender and flavorful. However, it was expensive, at almost the same price of dinner AYCE KBBQ. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of the spicy cold noodles, not because it was bad, but more so due to personal preference. The portion size was very generous though. My family ordered the shrimp fried rice and bulgogi quesadilla. The fried rice was very solid; it had good flavor, texture, and they nailed the portion of vegetables, protein, and rice. The bulgogi quesadilla was also delicious and I appreciate the creativity. The combination of bulgogi, japchae, and cheese might sound sacrilegious to some, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!

Californian from SF here, so take this with a pinch of salt, as I would suggest with the eel soup…read more Along with that soup(L21), our party of three and a half (sleeping baby) ordered a small bossam(A1) and the dak-ghalbi/spicy chicken(L11). If you are suffering from gout/high uric acid, I'd recommend AGAINST you ordering the spicy chicken. Out came a salad, classic Napa cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, and individual portions of three sauces. Gochujang, bean paste with jalapeno and onion, and a sweetened soy with pickled cukes. Of note is the Napa cabbage kimchi, fresh rather than aged, akin to Kunjip (for those of you from the Bay Area) rather than other typical Korean eateries. The fish sauce used gave a background note reminiscent of salted fish/鹹魚 if you're Cantonese, a first for me. Then came the three dishes. The small bossam came with squid, spicy dried radish (different from the earlier kimchi which had the crisp of a pear. This has a different crunch.), a lightly dressed scallion salad, and of course, boiled pork belly. Sorry, no oysters. The staff suggest eating the squid with gochujang. Pork belly unctuous and very soft. Entire dish was solid. The eel soup is a first for me. Never seen before. The white soup was thick like sollongtong, loaded, but rather bland. The unseasoned eel gave the broth a light freshwater fish flavor that will not be for everyone, but the meat was much improved with the sweetened soy. Other ingredients used include scallions, enoki mushrooms, and of note, perilla leaves, which gave a strong flavor between mint and epazote when encountered. The soup overall did feel bland so we added salt as if this was sollongtong, and the taste did improve a lot. Last dish: dak-ghalbi/spicy chicken. Normally the most mundane of the 3, I'm writing because of this dish. When we say spicy, I mean this dish will slowly leave a small fissure in the center of your tongue, though you will be able to taste everything else. The marinate had a mushroom flavor that I haven't had on this side of the Pacific Ocean, and worked well with the heat. Present again was the perilla leaf whose flavor stood up well, just a touch, neither neutered by nor overpowering the heat. Japchae noodles were present as well, showing an addictively toothsome side that I didn't know japchae had. Call me impressed. There was one struggle I had coming here though... I'm used to seeing Latinized Korean on the menu; here there is straight up Hangul, and and English description of the dish... Took me a while to go through the menu. Never realized how much I relied on this feature, or how naked I felt without it... But yeah. Dallas ain't no slouch when it comes to Korean food.
