Amazing spot! The food is super fresh and flavorful especially the Yummy Bowl with its tender chicken and perfect rice. The yuzu cheesecake is a must try! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such a great vibe. Highly recommend!

This place is a bustling lunch spot that never disappoints! The service is impressively quick, making it perfect for a midday meal when you're short on time but still want something satisfying. The menu is expansive, offering a little bit of everything, but I always find myself gravitating towards their flavorful, comforting ramen. On occasion, I'll switch it up with a bento box, which is always a solid choice. I usually skip the sushi--not because it's bad, but because the other options are just that good. The vibe here is one of my favorite things about it. There are plenty of cozy booths for a more relaxed sit-down, but if you're dining solo or just prefer a quick bite, there's also a counter in the back. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between lively and laid-back, making it a great spot to enjoy a casual lunch.

Slice of chicken

I remember when this place first opened there used to be so much chicken in their bowls. Now two dismal deli sliced pieces of chicken. Seriously? I've seen thicker card stock than the chicken in my bowl. Didn't even weigh an ounce. Prices have gone up and portions have gone down. Will definitely not be back.

Tonkotsu ramen

Service was good. The karage and tonkotsu ramen was good, other then the chashu pork being under seasoned.

Takoyki!

SUMMARY: I've put off reviewing Ramen Mura for way too long. We come here at least twice a month and the big thing most of the diners around us are missing is that their tonkatsu is really the star of the show here! FOOD: While we've tried some of their ramen and don't get me wrong, they are good at what they do ramen-wise, there's no doubt in my mind that their tonkatsu is top notch. Wife and I have a soft spot in our bellies for a good tonkatsu and here's what we love about theirs: 1) they get the panko crust just about perfect every time. 2) they have never overcooked it, always juicy, and 3) it's a good sized portion! The only knock about it is that it's not the type of sauce that I prefer (the brown Bulldog brand is my favorite), but it's good enough. Maybe I'll bring my own bottle haha. The other thing we like is their takoyaki. I'm a big takoyaki fiend, and I always leave satisfied with how they make it. Never overdone, always hot and gooey on the inside, and just the right amount of Kewpie mayo and takoyaki sauce. They never skimp on the bonito flake either. SERVICE: Always spot on and very polite and professional. RETURN VISIT? Yup! This is one of the better if not the best Japanese restaurants in the area!

N2. Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen
Alyssa M.

Service was very quick! I haven't been in and out of a place in like 30 minutes. I got the spicy tonkotsu and my partner got the regular tonkotsu. They charge you about a couple bucks more essentially for the same thing with the addition of some "spicy" sauce in a little disposable plastic container stacked by the dozens on a shelf. It was basically very mild chili oil that barely had any kick to it. The noodles were fine, the chashu was a bit chewy. The broth was nothing really to rave about. If you're in a pinch and craving some ramen in the Flower Mound area, then this is just fine, nothing to write home about.

Tuna Poke Bowl! Yum

Fresh and delicious, great service, cozy ambiance. The miso soup was very good too. Good pricing

N4. Spicy Miso Ramen

Great find in Flowermound. The atmosphere was inviting was exciting upbeat Japanese music playing in the background. The food was good. We order the N1 and the N4. One was the normal pork ramen and the other was a spicy miso ramen. Both were good. One complaint is that I paid extra to get spicy and all was a side chili oil, no spice. No bueno,if I'm gonna be charged I want the spice level to go up. As for sushi we ordered a Golden California roll. It was more of an appetizer but basic. Nothing to write home about. Overall not a bad experience.

Spicy seafood ramen!!! Yum!

We've eaten here twice and gotten take out once. This past weekend, they launched a spicy seafood ramen so we came in just to try this dish. We were pleasantly surprised that they offer more than just ramen too! Got to order a spicy chicken karaage (think spicy chicken nuggets) AND some really good sushi as an appetizer. Service was fast and efficient! We got Kirin on draft and that tasted as it should. The sushi (salmon, tuna and super white) were all fresh and clean. Loved the fresh ginger slices and wasabi to really heat that up. The chicken nuggies were the table's favorite - and I think I really could make a meal out of that by adding some sides. 3 of us got the spicy seafood ramen and it was really good! Baby shrimp, little tender squid-y bits and tiny mussels. The broth is spicier than most ramen I've had but my hubby still ordered a side of Sriracha to deepen the flavor. Normally, I target the broth and take the noodles home for leftovers but I'd recommend you eat it all at once. Don't be discouraged by the tiny location, it's not good for big groups but for your small group of friends who are a little more adventurous than others. We have 2 ramen places in Denton and they're okay but this place is worth the drive. The broth is better than I've experienced elsewhere and you've got more options than usual. Now that it's colder, that hot bowl of ramen was just what we all wanted! Go there, get some. Life is too short for boring food!

Sake

Super yummy ramen food with a great vibe and nice staff! FOOD: The food is a 10/10 ! High quality ingredients and flavorful. The Kimchi Ramen was flavorful and had amazing textures, but take the spice warning seriously! My mouth was on fire. My boyfriend, however, got the Spicy Shio Ramen and said it wasn't spicy enough. We both loved what we got though. We also ordered some sake and damn, does it pack a punch. I'm excited to go back and try other ramens, poke bowls, and sushi! SERVICE: The service was great! Everyone was very kind and attentive! This is going to be a new staple for us & I was so glad to try after eyeing this spot for so long! New favorite ramen place :)

Saturday lunch found us at the newly opened F&F right down the street from us…read more Super simple fast-serve hibachi concept. You can order combinations as you like, including a bunch of pre-created entrees. The breadth of options is pretty good ranging from a chirashi sushi bowl; bibim bop bowls; galbi; shrimp and chicken. It's like a street vendor feel in a small restaurant space. It's a smaller place and the 5-6 tables. There's also high top seating around the glass to add a few more chairs. But the spaces filled up quick during lunch and I can see it being a bit crazy at peak times. One treasure I found was a side order of Kimchee ($1.49) to add with your meal and I will tell you I'd go back just for that. My entree was the Bibim Bop for $12; wife got the chicken and shrimp for $15 and my daughter got the poke bowl for $13. We also got some gyoza dumplings (4) for $2.49. Side of white rice and a fountain drink go for $2 each. They also give you the two sauces with the meal just like the full-service hibachi places. The Bibim seems to be a little lacking in the protein. Could have used a little more bulgogi in there I thought instead of being overloaded with other items. My daughter's bowl, the fish, seemed to be clean and tasty albeit a very simplified version. My wife's was the biggest disappointment of the day as the chicken was dry, which isn't surprising since chicken always seems to be hard for hibachi to be tender. Shrimp were good, with tail on. I thought the noodles my wife ordered with it were ok as well. You can't go to this chain, quick-prep place and expect super high-end but for a quick stop and a pretty decent representation of hibachi styles it more than holds its own. It was just under $60 with tip and so I wouldn't call it a steal of a deal either. But I'd say fair value and fast service. Do yourself a favor and try that side of kimchee. Wish them luck with the new location opening!

The menu has a pretty wide variety of dishes including some unique rolls. And, there's a full bar. All that, along with mostly positive reviews, had us anticipating an enjoyable meal when we showed up on a Saturday night. Ultimately though, the service would be the most memorable part of the experience, and not in a good way! Our group of 5 ordered a total of about a dozen different dishes and every single one took F O R E V E R to come out. Whoever said that good things come to those who wait wasn't talking about this place! All the food turned out to be unremarkable. In other words, it was quite average. I also want to mention that we were never checked on or given refills on our drinks while we sat for so long twiddling our thumbs. Now this situation may have been more acceptable or at least understandable if it had been busy, but there were only a few tables occupied the entire time we were there and plenty of staff on hand. So, I really don't know what the excuse was. This is one of many sushi restaurants in the area which means its a very competitive environment. Given that, I doubt I'll be back anytime soon, if ever.
