Ordered the Unadon with a bubble tea and dined in. The place is small and cozy. Its got a family feel too it. The food was on point and the bbq eel was made to perfection. The crab Rangoon was alright, nothing over the top. The seaweed salad and miso soup were well seasoned and tasty. I enjoyed spending my lunch here. Customer service was good and straightforward. This was our first time to try Wok N Roll after getting their menu on our door. We got our meal to go which consisted of General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken lo mein and fried rice. The food was basically the same as you could get at most Asian strip mall restaurants, meaning nothing stood out as exceptionally great or terrible either. This was my first time going here and I was highly disappointed I ordered Congo chicken there wasn't one chili which is normally in Congo and the entire dish was pieces of corn carrot and celery there's maybe 7 to 10 little tiny pieces of chicken definitely not worth it has no taste and overpriced. Fried lice, anyone? We picked up an order from the Lewisville location. When we got it home my daughter opened the sweet and sour sauce and asked me "is that a bug?" I assured her that it was not. Then I looked into the container, and sure enough, there was a dead pincher bug (earwig) floating in the sauce. I immediately called to tell them about our discovery. The girl that answered the phone offered to give me a replacement sweet and sour sauce for "free". I tried to emphasize that a replacement of the tainted sauce would not be good enough and asked to speak with the manager. She took my name and number and I never heard from them. So sad. I did have one issue to speak of, they put the sushi on top of the hot food (same bag), I feel like that shouldn't have been the way they packed it. I order a spider roll, which should have soft shell Crab and the lousy cook filled my roll with OLD batter and dried up pieces of fried shrimp!! I'm highly disappointed in the service we've received from this place the last two times we've ordered here! Today I called because it was 20 minutes past the expected delivery time and I was told the lady left 10 minutes ago and she's on the way so give her a few more minutes. Another 10-15 minutes later we hear a knock at the door. Mind you gps says we live 8 minutes away from wok n roll! So I'm guessing she wasn't ACTUALLY on the way as I was told! To top it off the delivery person didn't have the decency to hand us our order they knocked and left leaving our food on the floor! We've ordered MANY times from here and even during covid they never once left our food on the floor and left! They were seriously avoiding answering why it took so long to get our order here. It was even the smallest order we have ordered!!! We understand everyone is short handed, wrecks or construction can impact travel time, but seriously have the decency to give good service and apologize for the wait or even offer a complimentary something or a discount for next time due to us not getting order done in time! If I could take back the tip I would cause we are so dissatisfied with the poor service and way it was handled! Simply out, the worst experience I've ever had with a Chinese establishment. Ordered food and was told 45 minutes and it took 95 minutes. Food delivered was cold except sushi. Called to request refund and said will still charge me the sushi since 'it's served cold.' Had to call 3 times while awaiting delivery and said waiting on sushi so it's obvious the food was just sitting out for 45-60 minutes before delivered. Would never recommend this place. read more

I haven't been able to find one that I really like in lewisville, but today I found wok n roll! Yum! They make your order how you like it, which means none of those half cooked onions! They also fill your container up to the rim. You have to be careful when taking the lid off! Pricing was also better than most place around too! If you go in, check out the Legos display. They didn't deliver everything I ordered, even tho they charged me for it. I didn't get a receipt, either. When I called them about the error and the high cost of the bill, I learned during the phone call that they charge a 4% surcharge if you pay with credit card. The person who took the order did not disclose that. They also charge a 4% delivery fee, which was also not disclosed by the person taking the order. If you look at their on-line site, you will notice there is no mention of the credit card surcharge nor the delivery fee. I insisted they remove the charge for the food they didn't deliver and tht they remove the credit card surcharge, because I would have paid with cash if I had been told in advance about the credit card surcharge. Beware. The food was adequate, but I won't order from this restaurant again. read more

I really dislike giving bad reviews, but honestly some of the most bland, tasteless Chinese food I've ever eaten. We ordered combo Lo Mein, which was completely sour, which we thought really odd. Almost thought it was bad. I then ordered a shrimp dish and I think the shrimp were either shrunk with a ray gun (kidding of course) or were some sort of sea bug as they were the smallest shrimp I've ever seen. Also we've found that their food consists of mostly veggies and not a lot of protein. I know the prices here are super reasonable, but I'd rather pay 50% more and actually enjoy what I'm eating :-( read more

They have the best shrimp fried rice. There orange chicken is tasty too. There egg rolls are perfection. It's more of a take out place so don't expect a lot of space inside. It's clean on the inside so that's good. The dinner specials are a pretty good deal but don't expect anything fancy about the fried rice it comes with. The rice is soft and fluffy so I don't mind, but it doesn't have the usually peas and carrots or bits of fried egg in it. You'd have to a get an entree order of fried rice for that. read more

I can actually see why people would give this place 1-2 stars, because I've witnessed them messing up orders and such. However, I personally have never had an issue. It's a small place, they have always been friendly to me and I love the food for what it is (hole in the wall joint). I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy outside of the bobo appetizer platter. The sesame chicken was awesome, by far my favorite. The egg rolls were bland, but the spring rolls are delicious as well as the dumplings. There doesn't seem too much to choose from as far as small Chinese places in lewisville that I've seen (I'm new here), but of the ones I've tried this is the best. I think its important to note that most of this place's negative reviews are over 2 years old. Since then their reviews have been fairly consistent 4 and 5 stars. Being my first visit here, I ordered the General Tso special. This is my barometer dish for new Chinese restaurants. I know its not authentic but its a pretty straight forward dish to measure. Similar to Pad Thai for Thai restaurants or pepperoni pizza for a pizza place. It came with fried rice and an egg roll and I also ordered crab ragoon. Pros: Food was definitely cooked to order. The sauce was bright, chicken still crispy when I got it home, broccoli not oversteamed, food was ready in less than 15 minutes, service was friendly unlike a more highly rated Chinese place in the area. Portions were generous for price. Cons: The restaurant has an unpleasant order to it inside. Like dirty mop water. A bit off putting, but I have traveled all over the world and eaten in much worse smelling places. Tso sauce was too sweet for my liking. Playing too hard into the "American style". Fried rice has no veggies or meat in it. If Im going to eat fried rice I want it to be more than rice, oil, and soy sauce. Egg roll was typical frozen style with mush ingredients inside. Overall, its decent, take out Chinese food. Its not going to be featured in Bon Apetit, but it is also not going to disappoint you. Problem is that when they are busy they will not answer the phone because they deliver all day and do not have enough employees. That is my guess.
