This place is my favorite for tiffins. I always come here for the ghee karan idly the taste is indescribable and I love it so much. The peanut chutney is just wow no one in the city can match it. You feel like you're eating it back home in India. I've been to this place hundreds of times and I never get bored. I always love going there because of the tiffins they make, and the dosa and puri they make the best. It's like homely tiffins I can say. The chai not the Irani chai but the regular one, is so good. Everything here makes you feel like you're in India and once you step out, you realize you're in North America!!

Note: This is not for everyone. The atmosphere, the spice level, food options, price point: all are targeted to a very SPECIFIC demographic. You guessed it right. Fellow Indians wantIng to just chill in no frills hangout. Now having said that, it is a business and ofcourse open for all customers. If you are non judgemental, can tolerate high spice levels, try some very authentic food, you are welcome here. It was late night and I was staying in a hotel nearby and walked here to order their tiffin combo. Well, I was told it's only available for brunch. Fair. I ended up ordering chicken biryani. Big mistake. Read on. It's so damn spicy that it reminded me all my dead grandmas for 3-4 generations. Having lived in the US for a very long time, I forgot and over estimated my tolerance for spice and this place not only opened my eyes but also got them wet. Within in no time, I was sweating bullets. No amount of Limca could help. It was tasty. I feel like I need to mention that.

The egg puff was good -4.5/5 almost to perfection. Masala Vada - 0/5 disaster. It not cooked inside and was very fat than usual norm. Mysore bonda - it was almost close to the size of punugulu. It was ok in taste - 3/5 Service has to be improved. Apart from the name. It didn't look like a fine dine place. The place was ok to sit down and eat.

Had the most authentic south Indian breakfast here. I had been here twice. The idli was fluffy and fresh. The Pongal was super creamy. Loved the mysore bonda. They were kind enough to swap wada with mysore bonda. The mini dosas were thin and crispy.

Went here for breakfast, long line makes it feel like it's back home. Got the breakfast combo, really good and fresh. Service is pretty quick. Over all good food and perfect weekend breakfast food. The tables could be cleaner however.

I really like their peanut (white) chutney. The upma, Pongal and Dosa are good , recommend going for breakfast as brunch / lunch time is too crowded, and for dinner there's not too many items on the menu.

Combo 1 - pongal and 2 idli with ground nut chutney, Allam chutney and sambar. I am eating this everyday now.

Takes a lot of time. People come and go with out ordering. Making fun of their customers these days. Especially the morning breakfast. Just stop coming here otherwise they will not understand.

The best place for tea time south Indian chat items. Consistently awesome quality and quantity for the price, whats more, tea, it's free :) Highly recommend for tea time snacks (south Indian)

Upon arrival, the first thing that stuck out to me is the many items at the buffet line. I was pretty impressed with the Decour and the ambience of the restaurant. You really feel like you're coming into fine dining even though during lunchtime they're serving buffet. They have a great amount of different types of salty food and a great amount of sweet foods. You can't go wrong with the price and you can't go wrong with the quality.

Buffet serving spoon on paper plate right next to someone's hair.

Disgusting. Zero hygiene and certainly no Covid measures at this place. Every staff member is maskless. Guy who brings the food to the buffet touches the food with his bare hands. Gross. Serving spoons are kept on a paper plate. If you're lucky like me you'll get a hair near your serving spoon (see photo). Terrible hygiene and the food was awful. This place should be avoided at all costs. If you're looking to get sick and eat terrible food maybe this place is for you. Can't imagine anyone choosing to eat at this dump.

When your in dallas there are plenty of Indian restaurants to try especially Indian breakfast is something I miss in Chicago . Indian breakfast in chicago is mostly available only in Devon. So I make sure to have the traditional south Indian breakfast here. We started to run around 9 am and luckily the weather here today is pretty good. We reached this place around 9.50am and place is empty except one person and later people slowly came in. The place seems to have been renovated and it was pretty nice and calm . They had a bar but serve alcohol only from lunch. Some staff already working on the lunch buffet while few work on the breakfast orders. We can order individual items or combo. My friend ordered a individual Item while we ordered combo which consists of 3 items(7.99 plus tax). 3 combo consists of: 1 Idly( steamed made from rice flour n lentil) 1 Dosa(rice crepe made of rice flour) 2 Poori(deep fried in oil) Sambar(Lentil soup) Coconut Chutney( garlic, coconut, chilli n some spices) Peanut chutney Potato curry( For poori) Indian Chai The dosa , Idly and Chai were pretty good. Poori was ok.

There are over 25 items on the buffet.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about middle of the road, not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics..... And if ya gotta ask, YES......all that food pics I took, I actually ate all that food. I swear when I got back to the hotel, I was in total kanak attack (Hawaiian Paralysis). Lol!

It was pretty quiet and I was able to pick a few items and watch the Olympics on a TV. They had lots of sushi options, as well as hot food items. I picked the tuna tower and the scallop butteryaki appetizer. Both were enjoyable. The server was friendly and helpful, and the food came out quickly. I also felt the prices were quite reasonable!

Arrived at 7 pm on a Saturday night and about half the tables were filled…read more I ordered: - The Spicy Tuna Tower $10.50: Beautiful presentation, however the rice on the bottom was stale. Spicy tuna was just ok. - Sushi Burrito: $7.99: fried california rolls with a teriyaki glaze? I guess I should have read the description better. I've never had a fried burrito, so what showed up threw me off. Very salty. - Beef teriyaki and shrimp/vegtable tempura, with potstickers $16.99: Served with 4 shrimp! Also served on a plastic to go tray, which is weird, but maybe this reduces waste if most people end up with leftovers? It is a lot of food! Beef was a small portion but good flavor. I definitely ordered too much food for one person, but I wanted to try a few different things. Overall, the tempura was my favorite, but you can get that at a lot of places. The Spicy Tuna Tower was prettier than it tasted. Unfortunately, my standards are higher, coming from the Bay Area. Everything was just really salty and I ended up drinking a lot of water. On the bright side, the ambiance is nice and the service was excellent.

She's beginning to make a turn, and when I said, "Let's eat something different," she responded with.." How about Chinese?" I live in California and hay no clue which one to pick and I waited a little late to ask her, I had to research quickly. I landed on the top 3 using chat gbt, and then I used Yelp to research them individually. I added additional instructions on each item I ordered in hopes that I covered my bases. After placing my order with various selections (Mom's super picky) for alternate options, the restaurant called me and asked a couple of questions for additional clarity and even made recommendations. She was beyond kind and warm spirited. I ordered at least one option from all menu categories. My total was a little over $100 for just the 2 of us, and delivery tip, etc. Note: My mother's residence is very challenging with parking and delivery when it's the first time. The grub hub driver was confused, but we communicated well The packaging was better than most. I stopped using delivery due to the drivers ability to get into the fix and sample items. They packed it so well that I could tell nothing was tampered. The food was DELICIOUS!!! The freshest Chinese food I've had in at least 15 years. Especially with delivery. We were beyond pleased. Every single item from the two types of egg rolls, pot stickers, wonton soup, beef and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, and the kung pao chicken/beef/shrimp chef's combination was fantastic. We didn't taste too much sodium (Mom's fear), and the homemade mustard was good but didn't give us the extra kick we're used to. The homemade red pepper sauce was well made. We love spicy. We're not into fortune cookies, but I decided to try one. I could tell they were not old at all. They reminded me of a very thin vanilla wafer.
