The candied bacon was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, while the crab cakes were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. To drink, we had the Strawberry Hibiscus Margarita, and it was hands down one of the best summer cocktails I've had. It was refreshing, beautifully balanced, and the perfect pairing with our meal. Secondly, it was covered in exceptional sausage gravy, which was a delight as chicken fried steak usually comes with bland cream gravy. She proceeded to tell me that the wait was 45 minutes. I was confused, I showed her my confirmation text. She said again, "That's wrong." Based on her tone and facial expressions I'm going to assume this was a line she had used several times this Sunday. We left, went to J Macklins across the street and took the 4 people waiting behind us with us as well. They had also made reservations and were told that, "the reservations don't mean anything."
